Ok, so what is the point of the custom roster option then?

Okay lets see best way to explain......
Okay I'm currently in aCe 2123. However there was an exclusive wrestler released named SIMbot. However he is and exclusive and not technically an aCe 2123 card but I'm going to use him in my 2123 ace. Now it does not matter when running simulator because you can pick from all the wrestlers.
However when you make cards, and set up matches you pick the wrestlers to fight. As it is set up without a custom roster I could not add Paganax and SIMbot to the same match because you choose which set/roster to use and they do not belong to the same set. So I created a custom roster added everyone from aCe 2123 and then added Simbot and gave it a different ace name. So now when I set up cards I can now add SIMbot in any match witch anyone else.
Now it would also be good to use a custom roster if you wanted to blend feds. So if I wanted a big fed containing gwf 2087 and ace 2123 I add both rosters to the custom roster and I can set up cards and matches where thantos can wrestle paganax. If you had a bootleg that you wanted to use in your fed, you could add a 'created' wrestler (still can't use in simulator so you would have to roll out any match containing the boot) but you could still have that wrestler added to matches and still have him in the rankings for that fed....
Does that make any sense....rosters are for setting up a cards matches, and for rankings.
