Maybe it'll have to grow on me, but, eh...not crazy about the art on the card. Too much, trying to mix anime/manga meets Batman I have to agree, I am not a fan of the new art style. Its not bad art for comics but for me art like this is more suited for GWF, I prefer realistic art for LOW and LOTF, and because of that I will probably pass on this set.

I have to be honest and say I haven't seen the rest of the art, only the Hero (I could see a Delirious in this style because of his cartoonish act). But I just looked at the card again, to give it another fair chance and still...and don't get me wrong, the art is good and all. But if it didn't have the CH logo on the shirt, I would have had no idea it was Chris Hero at all. I would like to see the others as well, but it just seems like random Japanmation/manga whatever kinda guy

Your going to pass up on this set because of the art? That seems silly to me. The art is good and IMO represents the LotF guys perfectly. But to each his own.

It seems silly but if Iam going to buy a product of any kind I would like to have it be something that interests me, again don't get me wrong CanPit it is good art work but again it just loses me when it comes to representing real life people, and I do agree I would like to see the art of the others also.

Hey, forgive me for being a bit behind the times (I have no access to wrestling shows other than what's on youtube) but I've just seen Hero in ROH under Larry Sweeney. He kinda looked like a young Michael Hayes.
Anyway, he used a loaded elbow pad to defeat Necro Butcher and I was thinking of replacing the assorted cravate moves on level-3 with "hit with loaded elbow pad - 3 add 1 dis".
What do you think?

Something just occurred to me...does Hero have 'pointlessly jump in and out of the ring', 'run laps and high five the fans', and 'should be ROH champ but sadly will never see it'? My original draft had "show of agility - 1" as the first move, but I don't think it made it at the end. Something about it not being an actual move.

To politely disagree with a previously expressed opinion, I really like the LOTF artwork style! It lends a unique flavor to that set that I think helps the cards stand out.

I actually think the manga style really fits the indy scene guys. A lot of the guys shown so far like Quack and Hero are best represented in the manga style. The Chikara guys too.

I love the LOTF art and don't even play it. To me it doesn't look Manga at all (though I can see that comparison). To me it looks like John Romita Jr.'s artwork and he's one of my faves.
