So from many sources this was a good pay-per-view from the in-ring action stand-point, which is good to hear. So CM Punk does not turn on HHH and loses the match so HHH does not. This angle could still lead Punk turning on HHH, or CM will be Trips buddy and that excitement months ago with Punk is lost to history, it's a shame if so...

It was totally stupid. Punk is being brushed aside for a HHH vs. Nash feud. That will be the focus of the show not anything Punk does. The show was saved by the last two matches most notably Mark Henry vs. Big Show which had one of the best ending sequences to any big man match I can remember. Damn near must-see.

And yes, they've just started the show by recapping what Kevin Nash did to Triple H, followed by Triple H's music and the obligatory promo by "The Game" talking about the new, biggest thing in the WWE between these hot, young superstar prospects. I'll bet Hulk told them CM Punk wasn't ready and they should push that new kid Nash instead.

Getting to Raw now...Didn't we just get a mass walkout a few weeks ago over a "dangerous working environment"? But this week the WWE is allowing a non-employee (or non-"independent contractor") to walk around killing people with a sledgehammer and that's more or less getting brushed aside?

I was totally bummed by the PPV. The MATCHES were good, but the booking was horrible, IMO.
They treat Punk as the no-account sidekick of HHH.... they job out Zack Ryder to a tired Dolph Ziggler, and they have Stone Cold Randy Orton completely kill Cody Rhodes' momentum.
I COULD be watching Raw right now, but I'm not... just no reason to.

I'm glad I fell asleep early. I didn't realize Nitro was back on.

yeah you know the first 25 minutes of RAW were on Nash-HHH. Now part of me feels this feud could be booked okay....but not as the the main storyline. Especially if this was WrestleMania time ,and it was like the 6th biggest match on the card or something. Then i actually had the feeling maybe Punk would show up and attack Nash..Didn't happen. But at least Punk is going against Del Rio for the title now..and he actually spoke last night. Punk SHOULD win the title right now. With the heat between him and Lauranitis Punk should be the "Austin" of right now.
OH and now we know there will be no Survivor matches at SS. Rock and Cena teaming up....this makes no sense to me.

The whole RAW show was one big headache.
Like Dennis said, they drag out the HHH-Nash thing for 30 minutes re-capping it 3 times for the love of God. The rest of the show was nothing but one giant Twitter commercial.
I've finally accepted the fact that I am no longer the target audience for WWE, which I get. I don't have uncontrollable ADD, my memory lasts longer than 3 weeks, I don't spend my life on the internet and on Twitter and on Facebook. I don't buy WWE merchandise. Shit, I don't even buy the PPV's anymore. So I really don't have much to say other than I'm a wrestling fan so I still watch. But I no longer wonder why they do certain things anymore. I totally get why they do the dumb shit they do. If I was a kid again or had kids who loved it, I'd probably love it too.
Oh well it is what it is. Best I can hope for now seems to be decent PPV's with some decent matches and maybe CM Punk, Daniel Bryan will win some titles. But RAW is totally hit. The amount of things that don't add up each week are just too much for me to think they simply don't care. I mean, they change shit from segment to segment. One segment HHH has all the control. The next segment Laurinatis is out there doing whatever he wants. And how the hell do you set up the Main Event of Survivor Series with John Cena wanting to wrestle Miz and Truth, John Laurinaitis making Cena and Zack Ryder versus Miz and Truth...But Miz and Truth beat up Ryder and then beat up Cena two on one. So Laurinaitis announced that because of that, Cena would get to choose his partner against Miz and Truth for Survivor Series. Huh?
Good Lord pass the Tylenol. If this show went another minute my head might have collapsed on itself like a dying star.

yeah
and to HHH losing his power on RAW....uh havn't we seen GM's overruled in the past by McMahon? How can HHH, who has greater power than Lauranitis, not be able to over rule him.
In some ways maybe it's no worse than 20 years ago. You know when they wouldn't acknowledge anything that happend more than a week ago. Oh heel turns babyface..next week Vince forgets all the attrocities the guy ever commited...or that a particular wrestler use to hold a belt. Even then we knew, but now we're older and we expect some logic. It's like when i first started watching wrestling , my 12 year old brother shows me a picture of Vince in a magazine . "He owns the WWF but he pretends that he doesn't."

If I was a kid again or had kids who loved it, I'd probably love it too. I think even if I were a kid again, I'd have a massive migraine after these shows.
