Getting MORE pedantic, Great Britain is officially the island itself (and the immediately surrounding islands such as the Isle of Wight). It technically does not include the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, and other outlying areas.
The official name of the country is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" (and formerly "...of Great Britain and Ireland").
Regardless, Finlay made his name wrestling throughout the UK. He qualifies as a "British wrestler" in that regard.

Think I've learned more about geography in this thread than the last 10 years combined!

As a Geography teacher, I tell my students there are 4 regions to the United Kingdom (with London being the overall capital of the UK):
England
Scotland
Wales
Northern Ireland
although I am more educated in History, I have learned I actually like to teach Geography more and Geography is the only subject I am teaching this year.

I think I might put Finlay on my EAWA brand, but not completely certain yet.

United Kingdom & Great Britain could go on for years . If there was an Englishman , Welsh man , Scottish man & Irish man . Say Wade Barratt , Mason Ryan , Drew McIntyre & Sheamus . Trust me they argue for ever about it . I will just leave it there without saying more .
I think the weapon will become a move in Finlay's offence ? .

If it is, I expect a double finisher (Celtic Cross seems likely) if not, it could be a Duggan type, attack after a match weapon. We'll see.

Also remember that Finlay trained a number of the WWF divas and we are getting a couple of women as SE cards. I'm sure someone could do a storyline around that.
