Why did Cena even bother BEGGING The Rock to be his tag partner if he can just take care of Miz and Truth by himself like he did tonight?

The Muppet parts were ok, but there were too few of them. Plus there were hardly any wacky antics that we've come to expect from the Muppets. It was just business as usual with a couple of Muppet segments and, in my opinion, the wrestlers paled in comparison to the Muppets.

Not watched it yet . It started an hour earlier in the UK . Woke up at 15minutes in to record the show . What did I miss ? Just C.M Punk v Mark Henry .

I liked the first two Muppet segments and that was it for the Muppets side of things and the WWE side was nothing exciting, just paint-by-numbers is all...

Props to Ziggler and Ryder on an awesome match that really seemed to entertain the crowd. Unfortunately, that probably means they'll get buried within a month. Bummer because I was just starting to like Ziggler.

Why did Cena even bother BEGGING The Rock to be his tag partner if he can just take care of Miz and Truth by himself like he did tonight? Totally agree. The booking in WWE is the worst it's ever been. Not only does Cena beat Miz, he does it easily with a smile on his face (on free tv btw). Then he kicks R-Truth's ass, no problem. But we're supposed to care about this match, thinking Cena needs the all-powerful Rock to end the chaos brought on by Miz and Truth. Don't even care to waste my time dissecting these complete bullshit.

I luckily got my power back just over and hour before the show. I personally loved the show. Sure the booking was pretty bland and the matches outside of the Henry-Punk and Show-Del Rio are what you would see on house show now, but the show was set up as a transition show and it worked. I really enjoyed all the Muppet skits and they did all the things I was hoping to see and glad that Hornswoggle got the spot with Ms. Piggy.

Sure, the matches were boring to bad, the booking sucked and nothing really happened bu hey we got to see the Muppets. Just like in a few weeks we get to see the Rock. Screw the rest of the card and roster, what is important is that the Rock will be there and that's enough. Same as last week when the important thing to remember is HHH was beaten up by Kevin Nash. Each RAW lately has turned into a one angle show where the rest of it really doesn't matter at all. How can you have a Main Event like that where not only does nothing happen, but you kill your big money PPV main event? I'm really hoping things pick up around Rumble time. They usually do. January - August (RR-SSlam) imo is when the WWE is traditionally at it's best. It's how they conduct business during the other 6 months that always seem to make me crabby.

I have every confidence that the Rumble to Mania time frame will pick up again. This is generally the creative lull time period of the year, where the highlights tend to be the gimmick shows. Like last year we had the Old School Raw.
I do have to say that the Rock promos are way too long. When he shows up for the 3 hour Raw in 2 weeks, I'm expecting a 30 minute promo from him that should be no more than 10 minutes.

I watched bits and pieces of it, mostly on for sound. From the parts I did actually pay attention to, I wasn't overly impressed. I agree with Rob that the Rock's opening segment sort of sucked. Big disappointment to me. I'm not even that excited to see him return for the Survivor Series. Teaming with Cena makes no sense to me whatsoever, unless the Rock just totally swerves Cena during the match (walking away from him or turns on him during the match?) I liked the Muppets, but they really didn't do a lot there that made me say "I'm going to go to their movie!" The whole thing would have been fine if they were going to be back on TV with new episodes or something, but for promotional tool for a movie, pretty weak. If stuff like this continues week after week, I'm most likely going to just tune out the WWE just like I do with TNA! "Why Bother?"
