Raven is another guy that would be an amazing signing, accessible on the web, and currently unattached to any fed. Raven was one of the guys Tom called after GCon last year (when we forced him to make a bunch of Legends phone calls). I think he was close to being signed before, like he told Tom he'd do it but Tom had to book him at a convention or something and Tom set it up then Raven bailed. I don't know if that's the exact story, but somthing like that.

That sucks...because, frankly, I would mark so hard for Raven in a set.

Is a shame about Raven since he is a comic kinda nerd anyways, seems like it would be right up his alley. Heck, if I saw an indy show coming to town or close by, and one of the Legends (from the game) was booked on the card, I'd be willing to go to the show (in hopes of getting the card signed) then if they weren't in the game.
I kinda think it's free advertising for many of these guys on the indy circuit.
. Hopefully, any fences can be mended (if any were broken). He would be a great addition to LOW.

I have more respect for a "no talent" guy (your words, not mine) that goes out there & takes a beating & puts on a good show than I could ever have for a guy who insults my intelligence by running up some huge meaningless win streak by "dominating" NO TALENT guys (those were mine). OK, I thought of one thing Goldberg did bring to the table for me as a wrestling fan: For the first time since I was a kid, he got me to root for Hulk Hogan, who we all know had all the wrestling ability in the world. I'd rather see Doink the Clown immortalized on a Legends card! It just goes to show you don't really have the true concept of what wrestling is, his meaningless win streak(your words) which was scripted and it entertained a very large percentage of the wrestling fan base. In simple terms wrestling is meant to entertain, it doesn't matter if I guy could wrestle or not but rather if he could entertain, you have some deep rooted hate for Goldberg which is sad considering as I have stated before wrestling is scripted and if you feel you intelligence is being insulted then you are taking wrestling WAY too seriously!!!

I don't want to see Invader in the game. And regardless of what folks know or think they know about Brody. I honestly think you need to read Brody: The Triumph and Tragedy of Wrestling's Rebel by Larry Matysik and Barbara Goodish. A great read and I will be biased because I have always been a Brody fan. I would like to see Stan Hansen in though. With Brody and Hansen...yeah Tag-teams better be afraid....very afraid.

Only reason I'm not SO pumped up about Goldberg is that I've heard he could care less about wrestling but I would take him in a heartbeat. With that said who can you really say no to. Unless there murderers or pedofiles.

If you like Bruiser, read Bruiser Brody by Emerson Murray. It's basically a documentary in book form. Has guys like Abdullah, The Road Warriors, Bill Watts, Missing Link, Matysik, among others talking about him, and of course Hansen talks about him as well, and even wrote a foreword for the book. It's on Crowbar Press, iirc.

I too am a fan of Brody and would also love to see Hanson in the game but lets not forget about Gary Albright who too would fit well with a Hanson card.

Whoa, you mean wrestling is for entertainment? And scripted?!?! Thanks so much for that valuable info! I've actually got some info I'd like to share with you too, but it would get me kicked off this board & there's far too many cool people as opposed to the one (take your pick) for me to let that happen.
By the way, since you feel the need to try & belittle me, I'd like to point out that it doesn't matter if "A" guy can wrestle, not "I" guy can wrestle & I didn't think it was "me" intelligence that was insulted, it was "my" intelligence that was insulted.
Thanks again for setting the record straight for me. I still can't believe wrestling is scripted! I suppose next post you'll clue me in that there's no Santa Claus, right?
