I was just wondering if there were any other fans here. My wife and I just started watching the revamped show. A few episodes into David Tennet's season. Kind of lukewarm to him at the moment.
Baker and Pertwee are my favorite Doctors overall and K-9 is obviously the superior choice companion.

I took a while to warm to Tennant, too... I really like Eccleston, and Tennant is very different.
He gets really good, though. Once you get over Billie Piper being gone, it's all good. There are a few clunkers, but it's good overall.
Matt Smith, however, is better. As is Karen Smith. They've gonna a bit away from the traditional Who stuff in that there's much more long term story and development than the old days, but it's really good.

I'm a Big fan of the overall Dr.Who concept, but I lose interest after a few episodes with each new season. I still think it's one of Britians best Sci-Fi series, but it's not must see like it was back in the 80's & 90's...

Have been a fan since the reboot of '05, had to play catch up on the series(i knew of the character, but had never seen it). As for the 3 men who have played the time lord since the reboot, Matt Smith is my favorite for sure. Eccelston left too soon, so who knows where he could have rated.

I don't watch it regularly, but I do enjoy it when I get a chance to watch it. Have especially enjoyed the last couple of doctors.

I am really enjoying Matt Smith as the Dr.
And Karen Gillan is a great pairing for him as Amy.
The current cast really works well together.

I think part of the fun of watching the new series is warming to each doctor as they grow in to the role. It took me a minute to warm to Eccleston, as it did with Tennant, as it did with Smith. The show is so good, and I love how Moffat has shifted the tone recently.
I think I am in the minority in that I really never like Billie Piper. I was really glad when she was gone.

I'm a big fan of the old show.
Grew up watching Tom Baker and Peter Davison before losing interest when Colin Baker took over.
K-9, loved him when I was a kid. Now I can see what a terrible character he turned out to be, no wonder so many shows had him left behind in the TARDIS. He was too useful, a way out of situations that slack scripting had created. The same was true on occasion for the Sonic Screwdriver.
Nowadays, I'm a casual viewer of the revamped TV series.
I am however a massive fan of the Big Finish range of audio plays. These feature five of the original Doctors and many of the original companions in new stories made specially for audio. I can't recommend them enough.
