If memory serves right, you'll have 39 wrestlers (37 regulars plus wrestling managers Killer Queen and Gila). Someone can correct me on that if I'm wrong.

There are also a few non-wrestling manager cards with interference charts or special matches on the back, but since you asked for wrestlers, that's why I quoted you that number.
Now buy buy BUY!!! ;D

Well, the only thing is to figure out which pack to get. Do I just want wrestling? or do I want to try the MMA? I am just trying to figure out what I want.

If wrestling a lock for you, then I'd say get both. The MMA stuff is really exceptionally done. I was only moderately into real-life MMA at the time, and gave it a shot just to try something new.
It's a great offshoot of the COTG game system -- it's both familiar for people who have done the wrestling mechanics and unique. Doesn't take more than a fight or two to understand how it works.
It kind of played a big part in getting me into MMA -- and I find that I like running a more MMA-heavy POW than a wrestling one, though I plan on continuing both.

I am not an MMA fan. It bores me to death. But I watch to get an idea of realism for my in ring work. I would like to try the system tough. I just need to do my budget first and see how much I have to spend.

Killer Queen has a manager card ? He was a manager in his CPC days, if I'm not mistaken. Couldn't tell ya if he was a heel or a face as a manager though.

KQ was a face manager, mainly of Jack of Diamonds' faction (before the Prodigy break-up-the-teams edict, of course).
I can understand some not wanting to do the MMA system, because not all wrestling fans are MMA fans and vice versa, much like many COTG fans are not comic book fans. So that's why for the forseeable future, we plan to continue both approaches, although storylines should remain applicable to both methods, if we're agile enough writers!
