I didn't see a topic like this so I was just curious what other fellow promoters think about it. I have kept my CHIKARA fed seperate from my LOW fed as far as using the color cards against the b&w cards for no real reason other than I like the color cards as a stand alone type deal.
However, I have had thoughts about doing a proper King of Trios event so of course I will need to mix in some b&w cards to fill out the bracket. I have really resisted doing that but at least for that event and another thing I have going on in my fed upcoming I will be using the color vs. b&w on a limited basis. I'm actually "retiring" the b&w cards for CHIKARA guys and will instead only be using their color cards from now on.
I really prefer keeping them seperate but at least some upcoming matches will have color vs. b&w. How do you guys handle it or do you even care one way or the other?

While I don't normally mix them, it doesn't bother me when I need to do so for whatever reason.

I mix them. I bought just the cards for 2125 and mixed them in with my other cards and slowly as the years go by, the B&W cards are going away. I can understand why it bothers some ppl but it's ok with me.

I think the Legends cards are B&W becuase the old school type wrestling , when everything was B&W . Personally I dont mind , either way . But saying that the color cards helps sell Chikara , in my opinion ? . Like in Trio matches if every wrestler had drifferent color paint and jumping around the ring . They have different patterns and styles ?

I love the color cards and would not mind having all my LOW cards that way........
Don't get me wrong here, i like the B&W cards, but to me the color cards just POP

I love the Chikara cards in color b/c it fits their style much better then BW would. But for Legends, the BW cards really fit that set(s)

Cruefan I started rolling my King Of Trios results using both black and white and the color cards. Once I started getting in to the matches I didn't even think about it. I'm not saying I'd want to do it all the time but once in a while is ok

I'm as "by the book" as you'll find and I held a King of Trios mixing the B&W cards w the color CHIKARA cards and because it was a temporary thing it didn't bug me at all.

I've in the past have mixed Color with B&W when it came to CotG, but I'm more by the book these days and rather stay with keeping my LOW as is. I do have the Kodama CHIKARA card and I may just use him once in awhile with my CHIKARAMERICA territory thats part of my Wrestling Edge Australia fed...

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was against doing it at first but I will definitely do so for a King of Trios. I also have an idea for one of my title belts that if a CHIKARA guy (or gal) holds it I will use the color cards against b&w but it will just be limited to that championship. That way I can still keep CHIKARA as a stand alone set for the most part.
How are you guys using Colt Cabana and Johnny Saint? I'm going to be using their b&w cards in my LOW feds but will go to their color cards for CHIKARA use only. It seems like the best way to do it.
