I really like how you've adapted after Monolith lost to Overmaster, finding a way to keep this story going by removing the Aethran conqueror from the equation altogether... As the saying goes, When life hands you a lemon, take that lemon and smash it right in life's face!

An undisclosed location, AETHRAN OVERMASTER sits in his UFSP detention cell. He is being held for war crimes, specifically the INVASION of CASTILEX.
He has just watched the video ad for the upcoming G.W.F. event #21. He swats the floating vid monitor out of the air in frustration, it shatters against the force field that blocks the doorway to his cell and falls to the ground in pieces.
A sleek, silver synthetic humanoid walks up to the door and speaks to A.O.M.
"I am IGD2472 and I am your court appointed public defender." Overmaster sits staring at the floor, not acknowledging his would be attorney. "I am versed in four million languages and cultures, including your own. I have analyzed your case and believe it would be in your best interest to plead guilty. The court may show leniency if you show remorse."
Overmaster stands up and walks to the door.
"Do you now?....Guilt... remorse... these are not words in the Aethran language!.. and you claim to be versed in our language and culture?!?!?... Castilex is outside the UFSP's jurisdiction and my imprisonment violates the treaty after the last Galactoc War 80 years ago! There will be NO PLEA OF GUILTY AND THERE WILL BE NO REMORSE!!!... THERE WILL BE ONLY... REVENGE!!!" OVERMASTER punches the force field so hard that it bows outward and strikes the bot in the head, knocking it to the ground. The synthetic quickly gets up and scurries away, as Overmaster sits back down in defiance!

When you have a plan and the dice go south it takes some great booking to work it out and adapt. I don't know how originally it would of panned but this direction is great stuff. I am so far away from 2137, over 30 years back but when I reach that year (if ever) there are so many great stories that I have read. I plan to use many of these as inspiration |

You do what you have to. 😉 Had little to no plans for A.O.M. going into 2137, with his down grade I saw Tom's writing on the wall... He will more than likely be gone in 2138 and wanted to get ahead of it. Now... however, by removing him, I think I just made him a bigger player than he has been in some time. |

NEW TV CHAMP!GODSEND defeated FIST [2] - Fist was Blinded By Greatness and then Dextral Choked out... The charismatic Godsend started a FREE CASTILEX chant with the crowd! The crowd's chant got louder and LOUDER and lasted probably five minutes! Godsend just smiled, as only he can. LAST MAN STANDING MATCHG.W.F GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCHMONOLITH [6] outlasted SIEGE [11] (C) - WOW! M.O.T.Y.! A Monolithic Slam through the announce table set up a I Break You and SIEGE couldn't answer the referee's ten count....! NEW GLACTIC CHAMP!!!The Genetic Beast raises the G.W.F. belt over his head for a record tieing 14th time!!! FIST, STORM, BULLDOZE and every Aethran Soldier come to the ring and kneel before the NEW MINISTER OF WAR! MONOLITH takes it all in, before leaning over to whisper in The Dark Menace's ear. "Betray me again and I will send you back to Sedona, to live out your days in a hoverchair." Slaps TDM on the back and then soaks in the roar of cheers... |

An absolutely cathartic performance by the Genetic Beast... And in an odd turn of events, Monolith and the Menace find themselves on the same side (??) - The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Speaking of which, I find myself yearning for a little nostalgia... What are the chances that we might see Monolith and Wolf tear it up one last time? This question is not 614 Universe specific either... I've actually started to wonder if Tom might make this happen in the canon story.
Another stellar card... Can't wait to see what's next!

Funny how you happen to mention this. 🤔 GET OUT OF MY HEAD PARIAH!!! 😜 Something tells me that Wolf, Tempest and even the Andromeda High Council will all be coming at the new M.O.W. wondering what direction he plans to take the Gladiators... will he embrace his Animan side or go full on diabolical tyrant with his Aethran side?!?... will he bring Andromeda and Aethra together?..Highly doubt that! Only time will tell, as only the Monolithic halfbreed knows for sure. |
