I still say it was a waste of time. All that hype and for that

That was awesome, and all I hear is a bunch of people falling for it hook, line, and sinker. A lot of the comments just in this thread are the exact type of responses that this is supposed to draw out of the fans. Jericho is brilliant. Only one falling for it is marks like you. The idea is to get good ratings. A segment like this drives fans away from the TV. I'm sure the ratings for the main event will show that. If you are going this route, after the drawn out love fest, Jerocho grabs the mike and calls the fans a bunch of hypocrites, whatever. And leaves. At least then it makes sense.

It was certainly a strange segment but I guess it is one of those things that will have to play out to see where it's going. Nothing wrong with that but at least for this show it felt like a waste of time. I enjoyed Punk vs. Ziggler, though, especially Punk's neat application of the Anaconda Vice.

How can you like that stuff! WWE don't know what they're doing! I'm turning the channe! That's going to bomb in the ratings! Listen to my idea, this is what they should have done! See, my idea is good! Cool. Turn it off, swear off watching WWE anymore, complain about how much better wrestling used to be, watch that other guy in that other fed because he can work, get on the internet and tell everybody what would be cool, respond back to this comment with telling me how I sucked because I watched and found it entertaining and you watched and was disappointed by the has-been that, btw, you knew was going to be the one coming back, that needs to get off your tv because he sucks and is boring and thinks that you have more than one week to find out where it's all headed when your time could be better filled watching tag team wrestling, and guy A and guy B going 60 minutes in a match where it's all about the actual wrestling, log on next Monday and repeat.

While I do have to admit the scene itself was agonizing, I do agree with Fringe that it did exactly what they hoped to do. Jericho was going to get a huge pop, but it makes more sense to have him as a heel. Sure it could have been done with a promo, but it could have been hokey. This may be a bigger statement to build on. I'll hold my judgement for now.

I agree that the Chris Jericho angle needs to build and the overall picture could be good stuff, but as I said that return segment was a letdown as a stand alone portion of the show. That jacket Y2J had on reminded me of Jeff Jarrett and his outfit with the lights. LOL! I think the issue with Y2J coming back and not saying a thing is he has no feud with everyone tied up and so they need to end some angles to get to why Jericho is back, either way it's a wait and see whats next with Y2J...

That...was lame. Not to mention disappointing. I'm sorry, but Jericho is not someone who needs dark, stylistic, cryptic vignettes toting his return. Because now all I can think about is "what the heck did any of that have to do with what I just saw on my TV?!" I really hope the WWE goes somewhere with this...

Ya, I wasn't into it. Very disappointing. I get what Jericho did there, and it's Jericho, so I'm sure long term it will be great fun having him back, but that was a shitty payoff for a really great build up video. It's a real punch to the gut when you spend weeks trying to decipher a video full of all these supposed clues and then when the payoff comes none of it is addressed. Makes me feel like not even bothering speculating next time something like this happens. Maybe we'll find out more next week or in the weeks to come but whatever.
Hate the CM Punk/Ziggler crap. Was tricked into thinking this would be a classic 20-30 minute successful title defense for Punk that also made Ziggler look like a million bucks. Nope. Instead this was just a vehicle to insert Lauranitis into the mix and put Ziggler in position be afterthought and to do the job at the Rumble. I'd prefer if they used matches like this to elevate guys going into the Rumble itself. Have Punk win amazing match but just barely. Have this motivate Ziggler going into the Rumble. Build him up as a legit threat to win it all. No, he wouldn't win Rumble but it would make things interesting. He could be final four and further get himself over going into Mania. But why elevate the wrestlers when you can elevate the guys who don't wrestle like Lauranitis?
What else...oh god the Miz. WOW have they ruined him. Main evented Mania last year, now stuck in another repeat feud with R-Truth who is totally useless at this point.
Don't even remember rest of show. Cena was horrible in opening but at least now that seems like part of plan. Thinking they drag Cena turn out until Mania match vs. Rock where fans will be screaming CENA SUCKS louder than ever. Perfect breaking point for heel turn.
Overall felt like RAW could have been historic instead dud. 3/10

I agree with everything except that bit about R-Truth. To me that's the best character they've got going right now. That's just the kind of stuff quirky I like though; I can see how some other people wouldn't dig it.

I was underwhelmed atleast, it just didn't have the "it" factor for me.
