Other stuff

Pryde is a long term fed that wnet through a few changes in October 2010.

A few of the guys that have been with us since the beginning (Ace Montana and Harley Reigns/Black Jack McGraw) recently retired leaving big gaps in the roster and the match writing.

Due to real life stuff the fed head has stepped into a background role maintaining the fed etc leaving me to run the fed, this of course has cost us another roleplayer as i don't believe in the owner being an active competitive roleplayer.

Our remaining rp'ers are dedicated all playing their parts in storylines, graphics and the show. New members are joining each week and bringing their unique talents and perspectives to the fed.

With Pryde's Ruthless Intentions PPV drawing closer the Pryde roster are all jockying for position wanting a spot on the first big show of the year.

As always cards are subject to change and the wrestlers know that, thats why the next Vindication on February 1st will be such an important show.

Up first Galen Ronan challenges the current longest standing champion in Pryde; Independent Champion Waylon Holladay in a ladder match. Waylons title will be suspended above the ring, the man who climbs the ladder and grabs the gold is the winner. With the champ looking to claim the World title at the PPV, he cannot afford to lose any momentum. Galen is cast in the role of the spoiler for this match, "The Divine Chaos" doesnt care about the repercussions he just wants to win.

Given the honor of following that match will be brutal newcomer Kain, known as 'The King' taking on Hardcore Zakk. Since his debut Kain has been dishing out savage beatings to anyone in his way, last week he decided to make a statement by challenging the biggest dog in the yard, Big Bad Casey. Kain will no doubt be looking out for the giant as he takes on Zakk, will Hardcore take advantage and claim his first victory here?

The aforementioned Casey has a match of his own to worry about when he faces off with high flyer Xander Michaels, whom so far is undefeated. He faces an uphill battle against the behemoth Casey. A clash of styles certainly but an intriguing match up none the less.

It's the last Vindication before Ruthless Intentions and where is Pryde's World champion? At a Ring of Revolution show getting ready to defend his CWC Showcase title. We hear from Hess LIVE from backstage at RoR's Wednesday Night Voltage The champ will undoubtedly have lots to say about his RoR opponent; Rachel Cole; and his Ruthless Intentions opposition; Pryde's Independent champion Waylon Holladay.

Finally the MAIN EVENT of the evening.

Evolution champion Alexander StarrZoe and Anarchy champion Ryan Rampage reform their SEG team to face their respective number one contenders Mystery Man and Jared Black. A preview for the PPV perhaps? Many are just waiting for the odd couple team the fans are calling Black Myst to explode.

The Inside Scoop February 13th 2011

Gold changes hands (but who's)!...

Ruthless Intentions is over... How the TD Garden is still standing is a miracle. From the opening bout between Galen Ronan and Xander Michaels to the main event the arena was rocking.

Ace Montana returned to take the fight to Pryde's behemoth Big Bad Casey before things not Anarchistic between Ryan Rampage; the champion, and Jared Black, the challenger. This match will go down as one of the most brutal in history. It was the Evolution title on the line in the next match as the mysterious Goth challenging reigning champ Alexander StarrZoe. Siro Black changed the rules as the match progressed to the champions advantage. Finally it was time for the main event as the exhausted crowd shared chants for their favorites while Samuel Hessingstock defended his World belt against Samuel Hessingstock. Again president Black interfered forcing Waylon to surrender his Unity tiles or fore go his title shot. Towards the end of the match both Starr and Casey got involved but to what avail.

As always there are no spoilers given here, but at least one title changed hands. Catch the replay for more details. The line up for the February 22nd Vindication show is also up.

In a business like professional wrestling, where hundreds if not thousands of men share the same common goal; to be the best in the world, trust between two men is almost completely unheard of. This industry has torn entire families apart, brothers have done battle, fallen on different ends of the spectrum, all for championships and glory. Men that have gone through thick and thin together, birthed by the same parents, spent some 18 odd years together in the same household, have spilled their own blood over something as simple as gold and leather. What does that say about two men, that in perspective, have only shared a small amount of time together?

The Inside Scoop February 22nd 2011

Memphis is shaken, rattled and rolled!...

What is happening to the Pryde World title? Ever since Ruthless Intentions rumours of Waylon Holladay being injured has been running rampant. At Tuesday's Vindication these rumours were put to rest when new Board of Directors Spokesman Jeff Westen appeared on camera for the first time. As always there are no spoilers given here, but at least one title changed hands. Catch the replay for more details.

Other notable events included The newly Christened Human Juggernaut Casey taking on waylon holladay, in the match that never was. Luke Connors facing Jared Black and Goth destroying Xander Michaels. SEG closed out the show with the anarchy champ Ryan Rampage getting a rare chance to bask in the spotlight before Alexander Starrzoe clashed with Galen Ronan in an epic main event.

Away from the show a glut of new members have joined in the past week in no particular order; 'MO' Marcus Owen, 'The Atomic Redhead' Rachel Ellsworth and her Nextwave teammate 'The Arizona Assassin' Adrian Tanner Jnr. and 'The Human Weapon' Malicia Savage. These amazing new talents are set to debut on March 1st. be ready for something special. The line up for the March 1st vindication show where the world title tournament will start. No match ups will be announced until bell time so all eligable competitors will have to be ready for anything.

What of the man though, that did wield the sword, holding it high above his head on that day, the sun glistening off the blade that had not seen light for decades? History treated him like a god among men. All men, no matter how they may see themselves or how others may see them, want nothing more in this life than to be recognized. The Pathway To Gold has officially begun. Nine of Pryde’s superstars would face each other before the night was through, resulting in four survivors who would move on in this unusually-styled tournament, the brainchild of Board of Directors liaison Jeff Westen.

Things got underway with a bang, as newcomer Rachel Ellsworth, one half of the Nextwave tandem, squared off against Power Trip’s Trip Adams. A doubleteam from Frankie Power would herald the arrival of wrestling’s “Human Weapon”, the six-foot-three Malicia Savage, who proceeded to clear the ring before turning her attention to her female counterpart.

With that, it was time for the tournament itself to begin. With nobody knowing their opponent until bell time, preparations for the superstars would be taken to a whole new level. Names like Casey Williams, Independent Champion Galen Ronan, Evolution Champion Alexander StarrZoe, Goth and the returning legend Ace Montana would find themselves in combat with opposition unknown, but with one common goal in sight- survival.

The Inside Scoop March 22nd

Eve of Destruction

The last show before Pryde's Fatal Fools Day was jam-packed with superstars wanting a spot on the big show. The show opened with one of the World Title Contenders Alexander StarrZoe coming out to state why he will become the champ at the ppv. Along with his twisted partner in crime; Ryan Rampage, Alex showed footage of his brutalising another board member in his quest to rid Pryde of Jeff Westen

The decision as to who would be top contender to another championship when the Evolution title contendership series started. In the first match Ace Montana clashed with Malicia Savage, with The Human Weapon getting the win. Up next 'Heatwave' Nicholas Brooks pinned Ryan Rampage. While the win was impressive for the newcomer Ryans post match beatdown of his opponent then a hapless official was the talking point, it was brutal. In the final match of this round the eccentric Goth took on the strange newcomer known only as the Prince. Maintaining his 100% record the Prince pulled off a victory in a hard-fought match.

In the final matches of the evening Casey and Alex put asides the bruises they took at the opening of the show to compete in singles matches, showcasing their talents against the clearly overmatched members of the Rat Pack, Lou Certo nad Joe Barone. Both top contenders looked impressive but did prove to the Pryde Faithful that they deserve to hold the Big Gold Belt? Judge for yourself by catching the replay.
