Some year in 2011 for HHH. Let's take a look -
- After weeks of mysterious skits, Taker returns! Before he can say one word, HHH comes out and soaks up the spotlight by challenging Taker to a mania match in one of the dumbest segments ever where no one even talks. Taker looks like a total idiot here, being fooled by HHH into accepting his challenge and totally forgetting to say why he came back in the first place.
- Taker beats HHH at Mania but you'd never know it. 9 months later HHH comes out and says "the streak is over." Some respect for history you got there Trips. And btw, your a fing FACE. Try to remember that.
- CM Punk becomes hottest name in wrestling in a decade!
- HHH comes back and quickly puts and end to that shit. Punk is turned face, HHH is positioned back on top of WWE and just in case it's still not clear who runs shit, HHH pins Punk on PPV because well, he can. Punk of course never gets win back. Shocking.
- Nash (HHH butt buddy) abuses Punk regularly, talking shit about him and powerbombing him all over the place. Punk of course never gets any kind of revenge.
- We are treated to up and coming feud between HHH and Nash who kindly took time away fromhelping get younger talent over burying "skinny fat" CM Punk every week to feud with each other. Of course no one gets over here, no money was made, no one was elevated and Punk still has not gotten his W back over either one.
- HHH becomes COO or whatever and goes on rampage. Shows up Miz and Truth. Beats them both up at same time. Becomes "buddies" with Punk opf course. Why feud and have to lose to him when you can tag with him and Punk can take the fall at the PPV?
Can someone please try to defend this piece of shit? I've seen it before and it always baffles me. How can anyone stick up for this guy? HHH CLEARLY went out of his way to stop Punk in his tracks, kill all momentum he had built up over the summer and ruin him. Can anyone seriously say that Punk is anywhere close to being as cool or marketable or profitable before HHH came back and stuck him in the ground for no reason other to satisfy his own giant ego?
HHH is one of those haters who would rather see the sum of something destroyed or gone for his own spiteful, selfish reasons, rather than anything or anyone he doesn't think is worth being "over", get over. Miserable human being.
And now w Mania on the horizon, looks like HHH-Taker 3. Not Punk vs. HHH where Punk gets his win back (no one wants to see that right?)
When his story is over, I think you'll see that HHH did far more to harm the WWE than help it. I don't care what anyone says, dude was an ok wrestler who became a star after marrying into the family, and he's abused the shit out of that ever since. How anyone can say otherwise is crazy. Just look at 2011. I can't even imagine how bad it would be if we researched a career timeline.
