I recently picked up the official Classics editions and plan on running an EC fed. I want to fully enjoy the GWF’s early years and am in no hurry to catch up. I plan on taking my time and really delving into the GWF’s early history.
EC GWF also appeals to me because unlike the regular editions, everyone and their grandma hasn’t ran an EC fed. A few have and I’ve really enjoyed the EC feds I have read on here. They have all, in some way or another, inspired me to pick up and run my own EC fed. I plan on basically going “by the book”, but would like to do so in such a way that I really explore these angles in detail and hopefully in ways that other’s haven’t done already.
I’m not entirely sure if I am going to continue my EC fed past 2087, I’m really just interested in playing out the GWF’s early years with these great characters.
Hopefully you all enjoy the fed. I plan on putting a lot of work into it.
By the way, my name is Brandon Strevel for those of you who don't know and I have been playing COTG since aounrd 1997 or so (when I was only 13). I've been away from the boards for some time (mostly lurking), but have continued to play and enjoy COTG in some capacity. I hope to once again become an active member in the COTG community which is why I've decided to post my GWF EC results. I look forward to reconnecting with many of you, (especially my old friends) and possibly making some new friends. I see that there are many new faces around here and am glad that the community continues to thrive and that it is, in some respects, stronger than ever. Thats so awesome to see.

The historic debut of Omega and Morpheus’ newly created professional wrestling promotion - the Galaxian Wrestling Federation.
Purchasing a ten year lease, Omega and Morpheus have made the 40 plus year old Deimos Olympic Auditorium the federation’s home for the forseeable future. With the financial backing of Galactic Champions Incorporated, Omega and Morpheus have also recently finished a renovation on the auditorium that has brought the aging structure up to 2074 standards ( the Auditorium was built in 2031 to showcase Olympic exhibitions). When originally built, the Auditroium held just over 10,000 people, but with the renovation attendance tops out at just over 20,000. Although aging, the Deimos Olympic Auditorium is considered one of the most beautiful wrestling arenas in the galaxy. The style of seating gives shows ran in it a very intimate feel as the upper level seats are literally right over the ring area (think old Tiger Stadium or the Manhattan center). In wrestling terms, the Deimos Olympic Auditroium is somewhat like the future Korakuen Hall, although there are definitely bigger and glitzier arenas out there, the Deimos Olympic Auditorium has a ton of history behind it and is home to some of the most loyal, hardcore, and intelligent wrestling fans in the galaxy. It is a perfect home for the young Galaxian Wrestling Federation pre Intergalactic Arena.
With the USFP watching closely, Omega and Morpheus hope that the GWF will become the premier wrestling federation In the galaxy. Omega and Morpheus have also created a governing body to watch over the GWF. Dubbed “The Champions of the Galaxy”, the board will be in charge of nearly everything related to the GWF. From sanctioned championships all the way to a rules committee, the COTG body will act as the federation’s “faceless” decision maker. The membership of the COTG is undetermined at this point (September 2074), but it is expected that Omega and Morpheus will serve as heads of the governing body.
Omega and Morpheus have announced that before the year is out, the GWF will crown its first Galaxian Champion in a two month long event they are calling “The Galactic Carnival” (They hope the Galactic Carnival will become an annual event). They have also promised that Tag titles will be added the following year; sometime in the spring of 2075.
As of right now, the GWF’s headquarters is located on Deimos, a moon of Mars, but Omega and Morphsu hope to add offices on the Earth (possibly in Jamestown New York, USA), Earth’s moon, and even on Omega’s home planet, Cetus.
With the ban on pro wrestling lifted, the USFP has created the Deimos Athletic Commission to specifically watch over the GWF and act as the go-between between the new federation and the USFP.
The Galaxian Wrestling Federation’s so-called Cosmic Road / Galactic Carnival Style of Professional Wrestling
The Galaxian Wrestling Federation’s style features several concepts that are intended to help build a wrestling product and create interesting storylines and angles that fans can follow and become emotionally invested in. It is through these ideas that the GWF creates a concept known as escalation. In the GWF everything builds off of everything, creating build up or as they like to call it, “escalation”. This escalation can occur on the micro (within isolated matches) or on the macro (through an entire year or more worth of shows and matches). It is through the building up and releasing that the GWF creates crescendos of conflict, resolution, and reconciliation. Angles and feuds are built up slowly during long hauls where every detail is meticulously included. Promos and interviews set the stage and help bridge gaps between the matches. Within actual matches this buildup is essential in coming to an exciting and unpredictable finish. In Cosmic Road the past is important. A wrestler’s win/loss record factors into things very heavily and past feuds are used to build further heat. The violence escalates as wrestlers proceed, becoming more and more vicious as they attempt with even greater ferocity to defeat the opponent. Head drops become common place. Drama takes a stranglehold over the proceedings as everything matters, even the tiniest detail. Championships are at the center of all the drama and violence. The titles are the wrestler’s main driving force. Where emotion and conflict for drama’s sake fail, the championships come into play and ignite the competitive spirit. Competition drives the machine so to speak. Clean finishes are of the utmost importance, but not so much so that DQ or count out finishes don’t happen. Even interference, although heavily frowned upon, occurs from time to time and affects the outcomes of matches. It all fits into escalation; “if your manager interferes this week, next week my entire stable interferes and assaults you on your way to the ER”. Everything escalates and builds off each other. It helps build tension and excitement. The drama feeds the conflict both inside and outside of the ring. Eventually the beast is set loose from the cage and the blowout happens. But as mentioned before the past is always important and what lies down the road may be a former rival, the past fueling future conflict.

GWF Wrestling #1 (Card 001 ; 9/9/2074) The Galaxian Wrestling Federation presents “FOUNDATIONS” @ The Deimos Olympic Auditorium – Deimos, Moon of Mars
The 20 plus thousand seat Deimos Olympic Auditroium is packed to capacity with its fans, most of whom who have never seen a pro wrestling event live, cheering loudly in anticipation of the night’s action. The GWF”s debut has been heavily publicized and much hyped in the weeks leading up to it and the stakes are about as high as they get. Omega of Cetus and Morpheus, the founders of the GWF, come to the ring as the show begins. The fans cheer loudly for both men, who enter the ring and acknowledge the fan’s appreciation for their recent endeavor. Omega gets on the mic and quickly runs down the night’s matches and assures the fans that the GWF has a locker room full of eager talent looking to not only make a name for themselves, but to help turn the GWF and pro wrestling in general into the legitimate sport it once was before the wrestling ban years before. Morpheus is next on the mic and after thanking the fans lets them know that there is no one in the galaxy who loves and respect the sport of pro wrestling more than Omega of Cetus. He talks about their time spent in Pleiades Outlaw Wrestling (P.O.W) and how with the wrestling ban lifted, the GWF will write a new chapter in the history of professional wrestling and help lead it out of the dark ages of the ban years and into the light – a “renaissance of pro wrestling” so to speak. Together, Omega and Morpheus thank Galactic Champions Incorporated for believing in their vision and helping to support the creation of the Galaxian Wrestling Federation. They point out that without Galactic Champions Inc, the GWF would of just been a dream, not a reality. They ask for, and receive, a round of applause for the top brass at Galactic Champions Inc for all that they have done. They thank the USFP for listening to them and allowing them to prove to the USFP that professional wrestling can be a benefit to the Galaxy rather than a hazard and for lifting the professional wrestling ban, even though at the time it was an unpopular thing to do politically. Omega and Morpheus finally wrap things up by telling the fans to enjoy the evening and that the GWF is going to go on to do much bigger and better things, all with their support. The fans pop big for Omega and Morpheus as they exit the ring and the matches get underway.
1.The Mensans vs. Defiance
“Foundations” opens with exciting tag action between the Mensans and Defiance. Both teams are young but work extremely well together. The fans are treated to a premier tag match that sees an exciting finish as both teams push for the victory in a wild series of back and forth spots and hot tags. Eventually Defiance takes the match when Jammer pins Trotarus after giving the Mensan a BAD NIGHT.
Winners : Defiance
After the match Crodsar is in the ring arguing with the ref, complaining about bias officiating and a “fast count”. Eventually Trotaurs intervenes and is able to calm his partner down somewhat. It’s clear that Trotarus’ words only did so much as Cordsar is still visibly upset on his way to the back.
2. Torpor vs. Commander Sam
The Earth/Cygnus rivalry from the 15-year long Galactic Wars is rekindled tonight as Earth’s Commander Sam meets Cygnus’ Torpor. It is clear right from the start that neither wrestler cares for the other all that much. Neither Sam nor Torpor is very experienced in the ring and at certain points it definitely shows. Despite some of the botched spots the fans are treated to some intense action and both wrestlers’ ferocity and zeal more than makes up for any short comings inside the ring. Things quickly escalate when the action spills out onto the floor. Sam and Torpor tear into each other relentlessly, ignoring the referee’s ten count and his repeated warnings. Finally, the ref has seen enough and calls for the bell, officially disqualifying both wrestlers.
DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION
Despite the ref throwing the match out, Torpor and Sam continue to brawl at ringside. Torpor slams Sam head first into the ringpost and opens up a nasty looking gash on his forehead. The laceration begins bleeding immediately and before long Sam is wearing a “crimson mask”. The blood only seems to make Commander Sam crazy as he goes into the crowd and fishes out a steel chair. After several brutal looking chair shots security is out from the back putting an end to the impromptu fray. Both wrestlers are bloody messes as they are being escorted to the back by security and the fans absolutely love it! Fans start a “He’s Hardcore” chant in appreciation of the brawling Earth wrestler.
Backstage several media personnel catch up with a still bleeding Torpor. Torpor refuses to let GWF doctors tend to his wounds until he’s addressed the media that now surrounds him.
Torpor : (speaking in the native language of Cygnus with subtitles at the bottom of the screen) Commander Sam, you disgusting, ugly mound of soft weak flesh, you escaped tonight, but next time you won’t be so lucky!!! I am here in the Galaxian Wrestling Federation to destroy you and to bring honor back to Cygnus. The Galactic Wars may be over for you Sam, but the war never ended for me! IT NEVER WILL, NOT AS LONG AS EARTH STILL REMAINS AS THE THIRD STONE FROM TERRA-SOL!!! I WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO SEE THAT ROCK ANNIHILATED – ERASED FROM THE GALAXY AND YOU ALONG WITH IT SAM!!!! I HOPE YOU HEAR ME SAM, BECAUSE THIS IS A DECLARATION - A DECLARATION OF WAR! Our battlefield shall be inside the squared circle, our weapons our bare hands! I hope you are ready Sam, because I am prepared to take this as far as it will go; prepared to take this to places you only dread in your nightmares!!! The great and glorious Cygnus will rise again! It will rise from the ashes of your beloved Earth, and I, Torpor, will stand victorious over your crippled, destroyed body Commander Sam!
Torpor pauses and then attempts to use English. Torpor’s thick accent makes it extremely difficult to understand what he is saying.
Torpor : (with subtitles still at the bottom of the screen) CYGNUS NUMBER ONE!!!! EARTH IS NOTHING!!!!! TORPOR NUMBER ONE!!! COMMANDER SAM DEAD!!!!
The camera then cuts to media members surrounding Commander Sam. Surprised by the sudden ambush, Commander Sam wastes no time and quickly makes his point.
Commander Sam : (Trying to wipe the blood away from his face with a towel) NO COMENT!!! I do my talking inside the ring! Now get outta my face!!!
Commander Sam pushes the camera man out of his way and the camera cut back to ringside.
3.Screw vs. K. O. Keller
Screw proves to be more than a handful for the P.O.W brawler, nearly pinning Keller with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM only minutes into the match. Keller uses his fists to fight his way back into the match and roughs Screw up with a series of bone-rattling jabs and a heart-punch that causes Screw to literally fold over in two. Screw is visibly staggered and it doesn’t take long before Keller levels him with a flying knee setting Screw up for THE TEN COUNT. The rest is elementary as Keller hooks the leg and gets the 3-count.
Winner : K.O. Keller
4.Torin Caelum vs. Santon the Loner
Torin Caelum is well known by the fans thanks to his years spent in P.O.W and it is obvious that his reputation has followed him to the GWF as he receives a warm welcome from the excited fans, many of whom are seeing Torin ( and pro wrestling for that matter) in person for the first time ever. Santon is a total mystery and receives a mild reaction at best. The fans are stunned when the newcomer, Santon the Loner, picks up the victory over the established Torin Caelum via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER.
Winner : Santon the Loner
5.Cross Currents vs. Dorado Sundown
This match is easily one of the best on the card as both teams make a case for being the top tag teams in the young federation. Thetis and Vortex move with amazing fluidity, constantly keeping Blacklash and Bullwhip on their heels. Eventually however Bullwhip is able to catch Vortex alone in the corner and really lays into him with his hard-hitting style. Bullwhip finishes the assault with a pair of Tombstone Piledrivers that leave Thetis a half-conscious mess. Blacklash comes in looking to finish the match but Vortex breaks up the pin attempt following SUNDOWN. Eventually Thetis gets the hot tag and in comes Vortex. A fresh Vortex is more than Blasklash can handle and finally he has to tag out to Bullwhip. Cross Currents begins to take complete control of the match and it’s looking as though Dorado Sundown is on the fast track to being defeated. Things take a sudden turn however when Bullwhip is able to distract the ref and Blacklash attacks Vortex with a low blow aided by a pair of brass knux!!! The fans disapprove of the illegal tactics and boo to show their displeasure, but it doesn’t matter. Blacklash uses the distraction and illegal move to set Vortex up for SUNDOWN and Thetis is stopped by Bullwhip before he can make the save.
Winners : Dorado Sundown
6. 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS : Morpheus vs. Omega of Cetus
This match features a ton of buildup and at points greatly resembles a Chess match of sorts. As the proceedings finally begin to kick into the next gear, the fans are treated to a series of chain spots between the two wrestlers, all of which end up in stalemates. The fans respond each time with a hearty round of applause as it is more than obvious that these two wrestlers are evenly matched on nearly every level. Both Omega and Morpheus are methodical and calculated in their decision making, always looking for the big opening. Finally Morpheus shows a “chink in the armor” and Omega strikes. The two trade offense briefly before Omega gets the upper hand and uses the COSMIC WAR DANCE. Morpheus kicks out too late and Omega is able to win the first fall of the match.
Winner of the First Fall : Omega of Cetus
Morpheus is even more cautious (if that’s possible) during the second fall. Omega, up one fall to none takes a few more chances as he is looking to end the match quickly. Morpheus doesn’t give Omega many chances and really plays up the defense. Omega sends Morpheus into the ropes and tries to charge into the corner with what appears to be a charging TOMAHAWK THRUST, but Morpheus has the move scouted and ducks out at the last second. Omega is rattled as he crashes into the turnbuckle and Morpheus pounces on Omega, hammering him with a series of hard-hitting moves that would cripple a normal man. A Natural Disaster and Satanic Skull Smasher later and Omega is just barely able to escape a series of pin attempts. The fans are really into the action at this point as they alternate “Let’s go Omega” and “Go get ‘em Morpheus” chants. Finally Morpheus delivers the TRIP TO HADES and Omega can’t kick free in time. Morpheus takes the second fall and evens things up at one fall apiece.
Winner of the Second Fall : Morpheus
The third and final fall is filled with tension as any mistake could potentially cost either wrestler the match. The final fall features quick bursts of action followed by lulls where both wrestlers “test the waters” so to speak. Morpheus is first to go for the victory and very nearly gets it as he has Omega badly reeling after wearing him down with a Cobra Grip followed up with another TRIP TO HADES. Omega does what he can and staves off defeat, suplexing Morpheus before backrolling him for a nearfall. Morpheus fires back, looking to do serious damage with a pair of Satanic Skull Smashers. Omega’s nose is possibly broken during the series and the blood flows freely, which really ignites the fans. Omega shakes off Morpheus’ assault and Piledrives the big man from Aldebaran before landing an impressive top rope flying leg drop. Omega can’t get the pinfall but has Morpheus right where he wants him and quickly follows up with the COSMIC WAR DANCE! Morpheus however won’t stay down and kicks out at the last possible second. Undaunted, Omega forces the issue and delivers back to back TOMAHAWK THRUSTS which totally knock Morpheus for a loop and allow Omega to score the pinfall and the victory.
Winner of the Third and Final Fall : Omega of Cetus
Both wrestlers receive a standing ovation after the match as the fans show their appreciation for both wrestler’s outstanding 30-plus minute performance. Morpheus raises Omega’s hand and the ovation from the fans grows even louder and includes chants of “Thank You”. When the applause has died down somewhat, Morpheus takes the mic.
Morpheus : Omega of Cetus is the greatest competitor I have ever known. Tonight he got the better of me, but this definitely isn’t the end as we will assuredly meet again; of that I can promise you. (the fans pop in response to the prospect of an Omega/Morpheus rematch) I look to even the score down the road as I love the challenge Omega presents me and relish any opportunity I have to face him inside the ring. (Turning to Omega) Congratulations tonight on a hard fought victory my friend.
Morpheus shakes Omega’s hand in a show of respect and hands the mic to Omega who shoots a smile to the fans before directly addressing them.
Omega : Thank you everyone, (turning to Morpheus) and thank you Morpheus. It really means a lot to me. Morpheus, you are, without a doubt, one of the greatest wrestlers in the sport today. I am sure that you will go on to do great things here in the GWF. TOGETHER, we are an unstoppable force and as opponents, our matches will be UNFORGETTABLE! (Big time pop from the fans) I look forward to meeting you again and won’t hesitate to sign any match with you. All you have to do is say when, but you already know that. So… thank you fans for coming out and supporting the Galaxian Wrestling Federation, it really means a lot to Morpheus and I and all the guys in the back. With your continued support we expect this company to only grow and to go on to do some truly great things in the sport of professional wrestling….
A new voice suddenly bursts on over the PA system, abruptly cutting off Omega mid-sentence.
Blacklash : Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold it right there just a damn minute! Me an’ Bullwhip been sitting there in the back watchin’ on the monitors and we just can’t take anymore of this. NOT ONE MORE SECOND!
Blacklash and Bullwhip step out through the curtain to a ton of heat from the fans. Blacklash and Bullwhip makes their way down to the ring as Omega and Morpheus look on. Once inside the ring, Blacklash and Bullwhip stare down the pair. The fans begin to stir in anticipation of a fight breaking out between the four wrestlers. Blacklash raises the mic and continues…
Blacklash : All this self congratulation and patting yer’selves on the back is makin’ us SICK! It’s disgusting, it really is! Can’t ya’ll think of something better to do?! IT’S DOWN RIGHT PATHETIC!!!! Now I know you two are proud of this endeavor of yours.. Me an’ Bullwhip can understand that. But ya’ see, me an’ Bullwhip, we have big plans for this federation…bigger plans than either of you two could ever dream. Now we know, that since the GWF is your baby, you ain’t just gonna’ hand it over to us, and that’s fine, we don’t expect that. We are prepared to take it … by force … and (Blacklash shoots a quick look at Bullwhip who lightly nods in response) … BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!
With that, Blacklash and Bullwhip attack Omega and Morpheus!! Blacklash hammers on Morpheus with a pair of brass knux as Bullwhip uses fists wrapped in a leather belt to brutalize Omega. The fans are clearly upset by this turn of events and show their displeasure by showering Dorado Sundown with boos and trash. Things are looking bad for Omega and Morpheus, but out of nowhere the duo mount a comeback!!! They are able to turn the tide and suddenly we have ourselves an evenly matched wild brawl inside the ring with fists and bodies flying everywhere. Eventually a throng of security, along with several wrestlers from the back, floods out to the ring to put a stop to the madness. As the wrestlers are being separated, Blacklash and Bullwhip shout obscenities at Omega and Morpheus and challenge the pair to “Defend their federation!”. Morpheus, outraged almost beyond belief, nearly throws security off of him in his attempt to get his hands on Dorado Sundown.
Morpheus : (spitting and snarling) YOU TWO WANT A FIGHT?!?! YOU GOT ONE!!!! YOU HEAR ME?!?! I SAID YOU GOT ONE!!!!
End

GWF Wrestling #2 (Card 002 ; October 2074) The Galaxian Wrestling Federation presents “SETTING THE STAGE” @ The Deimos Olympic Auditorium – Deimos, moon of Mars
1.Paladin Power vs. The Mensans
The Mensan’s open “Setting the Stage” just as they did with “Foundations”, this time in a tag contest against the Titan team of Paladin Power. The fans may have expected a somewhat brief but solid opening bout, but got a tag event that went way long instead. This match went past the 20 minute mark as both teams battled hard in an effort to get the victory. The Mensans came close on several occasions with Cordsar leading the way, but the titans prove resilient as they refuse to be beaten and battle back from every offensive onslaught Cordsar and Trotarus throw at them. Moonstrike ends the match abruptly, just short of the 25 minute mark, when he delivers the PALADIN DROP to Cordsar for the 3-count before Trotarus has the chance to make the save.
Winners : Paladin Power
Cordsar is visibly upset after the match, and after briefly getting into it with his partner Trotarus turns his attentions to the ref, once again complaining about bias officiating. The ref does his best to shrug off Cordsar’s accusations, but the brash Mensan simply won’t let it go. Finally Trotarus is able to convince Cordsar to let it go, but not before Cordsar has left the fans with a somewhat bad impression.
2.Defiance vs. Cross Currents
Cross Currents attempt to make their case for being the top tag team in the young federation against the brash team of Defiance. Blood and Jammer are an excellent team, but against the fluid offense and tag work of Cross Currents they end up coming up short. Jammer falls victim to WATERY GRAVE and Cross Currents leave with the victory in just under ten minutes.
Winners : Cross Currents
3.Torpor vs. Commander Sam
The match basically picks up where the last one left off. What little hope the ref has of controlling the action is completely thrown out of the window when the fighting not only spills out onto the floor, but into the crowd as well!!! The fans run for their lives as Sam and Torpor violently brawl somewhere in the fourth or fifth row as the ref has no choice but to disqualify both men.
DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION
Security is out from the back much sooner this time and is able to separate both wrestlers before too much damage is done. Despite the fans being forced to run for cover in Section C row 5, it’s obvious that Torpor / Commander Sam is becoming a big out of control hit with the blood thirsty fans.
4.Screw vs. Santon the Loner
Santon, the mysterious hooded figure who shocked fans by beating the well established Torin Caelum last month at “Foundations” continued his winning ways, this time against Screw. It seemed as though that during the course of the match Santon was beginning to win over some of the fans with his powerful, hard hitting style and got a nice pop when he planted Screw with his trademark SPIKE PILEDRIVER for the 3-count.
Winner : Santon the Loner
5. K.O. Keller vs. Torin Caelum
As expected, the fans are treated to a technical exhibition between the GWF’s two most well established and skilled in-ring performers. The fans applaud every well executed spot and are pretty evenly split between Caelum and Keller. Caelum, the submission expert takes the match after trapping Keller in the center of the ring with CAELUM’S GRIP. Keller valiantly fights to get to the ropes or break free, but it’s no use and eventually Keller is forced to submit.
Winner : Torin Caelum
Both wrestlers shake hands and promise the fans that there will be a rematch. The fans love the idea of a “Caelum/Keller part 2”.
6.Dorado Sundown vs. Omega of Cetus & Morpheus
There is a certain anticipation in the air as the main event gets under way. Dorado Sundown go right after Omega and Morpheus. Blacklash and Bullwhip don’t “play it safe” and seem to throw caution to the wind with the way they attack their opponents. Omega and Morpheus are able to survive the initial onslaught and fight back, treating Dorado Sundown to their own brand of wrestling. Omega and Morpheus work extremely well together, possibly better than Dorado Sundown had expected. The fans sure seem surprised by Omega and Morpheus’ precision teamwork. Dorado Sundown find themselves on their heels in response to Omega and Morpheus’ excellent tag work. No slouches themselves, Blacklash and Bullwhip eventually find their way back into the match and from there things seem to even out. Blacklash gets caught using the brass knux on Omega and the referee doesn’t waste any time in throwing the match out and disqualifying Dorado Sundown.
Winners by Disqualification : Omega of Cetus & Morpheus
Despite the ref throwing the match out both teams continue to brawl in the ring. Omega and Morpheus get the edge and clear the ring after Omega delivers the TOMAHAWK THRUST to Blacklash and Morpheus gives Bulwhip a TRIP TO HADES. The crowd pops big as Dorado Sundown is forced to bail out. The two teams throw insults at one another and Omega and Morpheus dare Blacklash and Bullwhip to get back into the ring. Dorado Sundown however is smarter than they look and know that their night is over. Omega and Morpheus stand triumphantly in the ring, the crowd cheering loudly for the GWF’s defenders. As the cheers die down Omega gets on the mic and announces that starting next month the GWF will begin the long road to crowning the federation’s first ever Galaxian champion via a two month long round robin tournament they are calling THE GALACTIC CARNIVAL. Omega announces that the tournament will lead directly into the first show of 2075, “The Deimos Wrestling Classic”. He hopes the fans will join the federation as it embarks on its two month long journey and will continue to support the young federation as it continues to grow and establish itself as the premier wrestling organization in the galaxy. “Setting the Stage” comes to a close with Omega and Morpheus standing in the ring being showered by the cheers and applause of the Deimos wrestling fans.
END
-I currently have about half of the Galactic Carnival played out, but it could take some time before the results are posted. The Galactic Carnival comprises 7 shows in total (between November & December 2074) and I am unsure of whether or not to post the results simlar to what I've done with the first two shows or keep the Galactic Carnival results short. Hopefully by the time I'm finished playing out the round robin I will have decided how I want to proceed with the writeup.

Well done my friend! It's nice to see you run something GWF, yet still have a little hardcore flare i in there with guys like Torpor and Sam and a touch with Dorado and Omega/Morpheus. Looking forward to more...I'll be reading as I always have enjoyed your stuff...if you wish to see what I've been up to, check out GWF: FUSION by Avarice. -Eek

IMO, Torpor/Sam is the first hardcore feud in the GWF, and only escalates when Mangus hits the picture. With Dorado Sundown it's the same thing. Dorado Sundown are described as having a rough em' up style, so it's only natural as far as I'm cocnerned. Trust me, you likely won't be seeing any barbed-wire or lawnmower fan blade death matches in my EC GWF. I also see Defiance and Screw as having a bit of hardcore in them. Glad you're reading and you've enjoyed it. I plan on really delving into EC when 2075 comes around as I want to explore the early years rather than rush through in an attempt to catch up (which I'll never be able to do anyway). As far as feel goes, I will probably push my EC fed into the Puroresu relm (especially All Japan and its King's Road era), with elements ,at least early on, of a young ROH fed.

If you leap into GWF for the future...jump on in 2125 and get the whole color roster and go from there. 2126 is filler, but still got a couple silver linings in the dark cloud. Then 2127 is da bomb. Either way, have fun with what you do and even though there's no fan blades and such, I see the subtle touches of hardcore even in just the fight.

Decided on the shorter writeups for the Carnival. Here are the first 3 shows of the Galactic Carnival for your enjoyment.
