Well it's been sometime since I have posted a fed on this board. Between work, playing as much softball as I did in my twenties, and my wife and I trying to have kids, and going through the process of fertility treatments, among other things, has kept me pretty well tied up. But I have continued to play, and read all the fine feds here, from established feds like LOW and USWA, and Stu's fed whenever he gets around to posting , to some of the newer feds, like PWIS and Humgongous' NWA, as well as several others.
I have two legends feds, Ring Of Glory, a legends-centric fed, and Fighting Spirit Wrestling-an LOTF/ROH/Chikara, etc-centric fed, that I play. But yesterday, I randomly came up with a roster, and a few ideas, and decided to start a new fed, which exists on its own, not in the same universe as my other two feds. I decided I want to post this fed. The fed is simply called the Legends Wrestling Federation, and combines some LOW with some LOTF. I like the starting roster I have, and have a few ideas in mind. My postings will be fairly simple, results, with a few note so you get an idea of whats going on in the fed, and where things are hidden. I may threw in a written out promo here and there, but for the most part any promos will just be a summation.
Some other background, I plan on running 50 cards per game year. Each show is entitled Legends Of the Ring, which is a weekly big house show event, you can assume its also being taped for TV. Every 5th card will be a Saturday Night prime time special event, entitled Clash Of the Legends. Every 10th card will be a pay per view/super show. The big show of the year will be LegendsMania. I also plan on sprinkling in some special events throughout the year, such as the Super J Cup(junior heavyweight tourney), Best Of The Best(8 man double elimination tournament, winner earning world title shot), World Tag Grand Prix(round robin tag team tournament, winner earning world tag team title shot).
The titles will be LWF World Heavyweight, LWF World Tag Team, LWF United States Heavyweight, and LWF World Junior Heavyweight.
Starting Roster is as follows:
Faces
Magnum TA
Tommy Rich
Bryan Danielson(World Title updated version)
Blackjack Mulligan
Tracey Smothers

Eddie Edwards(ROH version)

- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
Bryan Danielson vs. Adam Pearce
Bryan Danielson defeated Adam Pearce with a LABELL LOCK at 16:02
Match Notes: Larry Sweeney, manager extrodinaire(according to him) came down before the match, and sat at the commentary table, and stated he was there to scout talent to join Sweet and Sour Inc. Good match between two rising stars. Danielson caught Pearce in the LABELL LOCK in the middle of the ring, and Pearce couldn't escape. Danielson advances. Pearce was frustrated with the loss, until Larry Sweeney approached Pearce. The two exchanged words, and then left together.
- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
Johnny Valentine vs. Magnum T.A.
Magnum T.A. defeated Johnny Valentine with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX at 3:29
Match Notes: Not the strongest of showings by Valentine, and he knew it, as you could see the frustration in his eyes after the loss.
- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
Dan 'The Beast' Severn vs. Tommy Rich
Tommy Rich defeated Dan 'The Beast' Severn with a piledriver at 7:02
Match Notes: Severn used a couple submissions early on, including the WAKIGATAME, but Rich managed to escape each time. Rich made a comeback, and slapped on the SLEEPER. Severn broke the SLEEPER, but looked a bit groggy, and Rich took advantage, hitting a piledriver for the win. Severn snapped after the match, attacking Rich, and locking in a submission hold, until officials pulled Severn off.
- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
Blackjack Mulligan vs. Nick Bockwinkle
Nick Bockwinkle defeated Blackjack Mulligan with a BOCKWINKLE SLEEPER at 3:51
Match Notes: To no surprise, Bobby Heenan was at ringside with Nick Bockwinkle...Bockwinkle was in peril almost from the start of the match. When the action spilled tot he floor, and Mulligan was beating up on Bockwinkle,Bobby Heenan signaled to the back, and out came...Giant Bernard!! Heenan distracted the referee, allowing Bernard to attack Mulligan, and slam him into the steel post, and steel stairs outside the ring. He tossed Mulligan back in the ring, and Mulligan was ripe for the picking, and Bockwinkle put Mulligan away, advancing in the World Title tournament.
- Promo hyping the Super J Cup Tournament -
A promo plays on the big screen, hyping the upcoming Super J Cup tournament(card #5), which will bring in some of the top Junior Heavyweights in the world, vying for not only gold Super J Cup prize, but to become the first ever LWF World Junior Heavyweight Champion!! LWF Commissioner, Charlie Cox, promises that the LWF will put an emphasis on the Junior Heavyweight division, and promises to bring great Junior Heavyweight action to the LWF! The initial Super J Cup tournament will feature 8 of the top junior heavyweights in the world. Cox is hopeful to expand the tournament in the future. Cox says the LWF is flying in some big names from overseas for this tournament. Names already announced for the tournament, are japanese legends, Tiger Mask and Jushin "Thunder" Liger. British stars, Johnny Saint and Nigel McGuiness, and LWF's own, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Roderick Strong, and Scorpio Sky, will all be a part of the event.
We then got interviews from a few of the participants. First was Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, together. They talked about how successful they have been as a tag team. But they came to the LWF to try their hands at singles competition. Edwards said they will be rooting for each other, but if they face off, may the best man win. Richards says the "Hunt is on for the LWF World Junior Heavyweight Title!"
Roderick Strong then cuts a very arrogant promo, and all but assures that he will come out of the tournament as the first LWF World Junior Heavyweight Champion!
- LWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
Road Warriors vs. Philly's Most Wanted
Joker defeated Hawk with a Magnitude Bomb at 6:39
Match Notes: No one saw this coming! PMW have built a reputation as being not only excellent junior heavyweights, but for being tough and violent, and enjoy inflicting pain. So that made them a good opponent for the Road Warriors. But the Road Warriors are one of the greatest tag teams of all time, and are every bit as tough, if not moreso, than PMW. But PMW took it took the Warriors on this night, doing everything they had to win, and they came away with a huge upset, advancing in the World Tag Team Title tournament!
- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Semi Finals -
Bryan Danielson vs. Magnum T.A.
Magnum T.A. defeated Bryan Danielson with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX at 7:26

- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT-Semi Finals -
Nick Bockwinkle vs. Tommy Rich
Tommy Rich defeated Nick Bockwinkle with a SLEEPER at 17:13
- LWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT-Quarterfinals -
London and Kendrick vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team
Shelton Benjamin defeated Brian Kendrick with a LEAP OF FAITH at 8:00
Match Notes: Larry Sweeney apparently found 2 more members of Sweet and Sour Inc, as he came to ringside was Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, and was in their corner as their manager. But WGTT didn't need much from Sweeney, as they dominated most of the match, en route to a win, advancing in the World Tag Team Title tournament.
- LWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP -
Tommy Rich vs. Magnum T.A.
for the LWF World Heavyweight Championship
Tommy Rich defeated Magnum T.A. with a THESZ PRESS at 13:59
Match Notes: Tommy Rich becomes the first LWF World Heavyweight Champion! Both fan favorites shook hands before the match, and then went on to have a good, clean match. The fans cheered evenly for both men. Either man could have won it, but another valiant effort from Rich, led to him become the first LWF World Heavyweight Champion! Being a good sport about it, Magnum TA presented Rich with the title belt, and raised his hand, and the two embraced, in a great end to the show.
