I might have spoken too sound about Ring of Vegas returning this weekend. I ended up having to drive to Arizona at the last minute tonight to check out this truck I want at the Toyota dealership in Lake Havasu (I was not too enamored with the trucks I saw at the 3 Toyota dealerships in Las Vegas- right now inventory is low as COVID-19 has decreased production- but I found what I was looking for next door in Arizona.) Tonight I put money down on this truck and tomorrow when my credit union writes Toyota the check for the balance I drive my new truck back to Las Vegas.

In addition to my new Vegas Wrestling Association (the VWA) fed, I am looking very forward to getting back to this fed (while still playing my LOW fed once per week) and was absolutely planning on resuming this weekend until I realized this particular truck (which I can not find in Las Vegas) was available brand new at a dealership 2 1/2 hours away in Arizona. I am losing the rental car that insurance is paying for so I had act on this truck right away.

Yesterday before I drove to Arizona I called my credit union and they said it would be no problem to buy from this dealership and the woman I talked to even said "I think I have bought from them before." But today the credit union- and I mean the same exact person at the credit union I talked to yesterday before I drove to Arizona- says this deal will now not be possible because the dealership is not considered a franchise (even though I gave them the exact name of the dealership yesterday when she said it would be OK.) How this dealership is not considered a franchise is beyond me- they have Toyota in their name, the licensed Toyota emblem is spread throughout the dealership, they sell new Toyotas, they have the Toyota rebate options, they have the Toyota finance options, etc. Right now Toyota is trying to get me a different lender at the same terms I had with the credit union (3.29 % at 72 months.) I put $5,000 down on this truck so the dealership is saving it for me but they are closed tomorrow so I need to get this deal done today in order to drive this truck home to Las Vegas.

Well, that sound frustrating to say the least... Fingers crossed that you'll be driving home soon... In style! BOA (Bank of America) just threw me a lifeline. It is not a 3.9%/72 months lifeline, but close to it. And I have the option of refinancing with my credit union after 30 days for that original 3.9%/72 months rate. Part of me wants to say the hell with the credit union after they backstabbed me this morning, but I guess if they can save me $20-$25/month every month for the next 6 years then I have to consider their refinancing option. I should have this deal finalized this afternoon and be back in Las Vegas with my new truck this evening!

I just got back home from Arizona with my new truck: Now it is definitely time to get back to my fed results here.
