Getting me pumped to play some more RoH! Very well done shows! Anyone who can get me excited to play, is doing something right! Take note readers, this is how it's done! ๐๐๐

I'm fine with a slow build for Omega-White, it's better that way. Very cool to see Christopher Daniels win the ROH TV title from Jay Lethal and also a nice win for Kenny King. Shane Taylor may have lost on a technical decision but he looked good dominating the match with Dalton Castle.

TTX , Pariah , cruefan68 - Jay Lethal dropping the TV title to Christopher Daniels had to give the Fallen Angel some vindication. But don't expect Jay to take this lying down. Justin Case - Thanks for the compliments! I don't know if this is how it's done but it's the way I'm doing it. Before the next show gets posted, I'm going to open the door to the booker's office for some added commentary about the Punishment storyline. Thanks for following along and commenting, gentlemen. It's appreciated as always!

BOOKING NOTES With the Punishment storyline for the 2017 season of this fed, I wanted to try something different with the booking. I was going to construct the program in such a way that no matter what the dice gave me, it would not interfere (much) with the story I was trying to tell. The entire twelve months were outlined at the beginning with only a few tweaks as I went along. From the debut of the Punishment faction, to each wrestler they put out, to their banishment on the most recent episode. I wanted to use the Kevin Sullivan faction but I wanted them to have an actual purpose rather than some ambiguous father/son evil whatever that happened in the real life ROH. It was also time to cut back the roster and make room for new faces. There were some guys that I had done everything I wanted to with (and a couple Iโm just not fond of). These guys all had something in common: they had gone the NXT/Evolve route. So thatโs how I would tie it all together. I also got to get a little meta and put some of my criticism on the current state of pro wrestling into it. I lifted some elements from my Chikara fed (which may someday see the light of day) and I had a storyline. And it went pretty much went how I had hoped it would. I think the only thing I would have preferred was Adam Cole actually dropping the belt at Final Battle as I hate to take titles off of people who donโt actually lose them. I also realize that the end of Punishment, them being suddenly booted out of the company by the suits, may have seemed abrupt. But that is how I had planned it. It was unconventional to have such a lengthy and impactful program not settled in the ring. Did it work? You tell me. Going forward, this next season will be a lot more organic. I will let the dice guide my muse rather fight against them. There will be more of a focus on in-ring action and competition, with a steady influx of new faces. And what am I going to do about the ROH World Championship? Then later in the season we will see some simple storylines that I have planned. I will leave you with a few teasers of whatโs to come: - There will be a new faction of my creation showing up that should be fun. - A current roster member may have a mental breakdown. - Whatever happened to BJ Whitmer after the Briscoes chased him out of the building at Final Battle? And all of these things are somehow relatedโฆ? Stay tuned!

Mission accomplished, my friend... The Punishment angle was very compelling and developed at a nearly flawless pace... And the fact that it served the additional purpose of roster management is exceptional... Nice work!
Have to admit that I'm gonna miss Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!) but I'm very excited for what's to come... Keep on rolling!

Just caught up on what was a hell of a run of shows closing out with Final Battle and the start of the new season. As always the level of creativity is off the charts. I really like the angle that brought Jay White into your ROH federation. Should be a fun build.

the more you fight the dice, the more they fight back I've learned over the years.

Keep on rolling! Pariah - Adam Cole is one of my favorites and I hate to see him go. But he ran his course. There was no one left to beat and none of the new talent coming in can stack up to his powerful card. And I think rotating guys out is important. As far as I'm concerned, Adam Cole in real life stayed too long in ROH. As many guys have. Personally, I think AEW forming has been a good thing for ROH, creating the necessity to bring in a fresh batch of guys. Heck, I would even say the Briscoes have stayed around too long but it just wouldn't be ROH without them.
