What do you guys do/use to base bleeding? As a CHIKARA promoter, the old red stuff doesn't play much of a part on my shows. I still consider myself a Filsinger Games rookie and tbh, I haven't put any thought into using blood in my fed. Rather than say it takes 'X' amount of tokens to induce bleeding, I'll probably just use blood whenever it serves a purpose in a story line. That's a good call. I think I had too much blood. Maybe I'll take the fatigue count to seven.

Season I, Show II American Legion Post #308 Reseda, California
Theme: Double Trouble - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Open the United Gate Championship Tournament
1) Kodama and Obariyon of the Batiri defeated Frightmare and Hallowicked of Incoherence via count-out when Hallowicked couldn't make it back to the ring in time; Kodama nailed Hallowicked with the Flying Blockbuster off the ring apron. The Batiri dominated Hallowicked and kept him from tagging Frightmare in.
2) Joker and BLK Jeez of BLKOUT defeated Hawaiian Lion and Navajo Warrior of the Tribe when Joker finished Hawaiian Lion off with the Joker Driver. The Tribe came in and overpowered BLKOUT. However, Joker and Jeez came back and dismantled Hawaiian Lion, amid keeping Navajo Warrior away from the save.
3) Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of the Throwbacks defeated Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw when the Throwbacks used the Grandslam Dunk on Jigsaw. Dasher and Sugar did a great job at keeping Jigsaw away from tagging in Quack. "Lightning" didn't get much action in at all. After the match, both teams shook hands.
4) Amasis and Ophidian of the Osirian Portal defeated Chuck Taylor and Drew Gulak of the Gentleman's Club when Ophidian made Chuck Taylor submit with the Death Grip. One of the best matches in Dragon Gate Americana's short history. Both teams put everything into this back-and-forth battle, but it was the "Venomous and Vile Serpent from the Nile" that made Taylor tap.
5) Kodama and Obariyon of the Batiri defeated Amasis and Ophidian of the Osirian Portal when Kodama used the Flying Blockbuster on Amasis. Obariyon had to be rushed to the back to have his forehead stitched up. The Osirian Portal looked to be be the winners with their control over Obariyon, but Kodama was able to come back and get the surprise victory.
6) Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of the Throwbacks defeated Joker and BLK Jeez of BLKOUT when Sugar Dunkerton nailed BLK Jeez with Air Dunkerton. BLKOUT went hardcore on Dasher and put the hurt on him, but Sugar proved that you don't mess with the Throwbacks!
Open the United Gate Championship
7) Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of the Throwbacks defeated Kodama and Obariyon of the Batiri to become the first ever Open the United Gate Champions; Dasher finished Obariyon off with the Grandslam. Willie Mack, the Open the Freedom Gate Champion, came down to the ring and congratulated the Throwbacks to end the show.

Maybe I'll take the fatigue count to seven. In my matches I usually go with 3 tokens, which I read in one of the early rule books. But I have made the decision lately that the Crimson stuff won't flow until either someone is hit with a weapon or run into the ring post (traumatic head trauma). With that philosophy I have had matches were guys have gone to nearly a 12 pin rating (Tokens + Pin Rating) without a drop of blood. In the same breath I have matches where the blood is flowing fairly quickly in a match. It generally depends on how the charts play out.

Season I, Show III American Legion Post #308 Reseda, California
Theme: El Distorto de Melodica - Everclear
1) Nick Madrid defeated Cedric the Hitman via Running of the Bulls. Cedric, also known as BLK Hitman, controlled and dominated the match. It wasn't a difficult task with BLK Jeez and Joker at ringside to cause distraction. However, Madrid surprised the BLKOUT member with a quick finish. After the match, BLKOUT beat down Madrid in the ring.
2) Mike Quackenbush and Tim Donst of the Wrestle Factory defeated Hawaiian Lion and Navajo Warrior of the Tribe when "Técnico" Tim Donst used the Hydro Lock on Navajo Warrior. Quackenbush had most of the offense, with Navajo Warrior pounding away at Donst. Surprisingly, the young Donst got the win over the much bigger man.
3) A.R. Fox defeated BLK Jeez with the 450 Splash. This was your average high-flying, super-flippy, plancha-dive, festival-of-pain. Madrid came down to the ring and tried to attack Joker, but he only obtained a Joker Driver on the concrete floor. Meanwhile, the "Whole Foxin' Show" finished off a distracted BLK Jeez. Fox finished the outing with a suicida attack on Joker. Fox then helped Madrid to the back.
4) El Hijo Del Ice Cream and Ice Cream, Jr. of Los Ice Creams defeated Chuck Taylor and Drew Gulak of the Gentleman's Club when El Hijo Del Ice Cream dropped the "Kentucky Gentleman" with the Cold Stone Stunner. Once Los Ice Creams brought the pain with El Asesino, it was downhill from there for Taylor.
Just Open the F'N Gate
5) Eddie Kingston defeated Sami Callihan with the Sliding D. This heavy-hitting match took place all over the arena, and both men refused to give in. What brought the "Callihan Death Machine" down prior to the Sliding D was Kingston ramming his head into the ring post multiple times. After the match, BLKOUT came down to the ring and taunted Callihan, spitting on him and kicking him while he was down.
Open the Submission Gate
6) Green Ant defeated Joey Ryan with the Cloverleaf. Ryan worked circles around Green Ant on the mat, but the "Resilient Rookie" took advantage of the "Hollywood Submission Machine" when Ryan took time to thrust his pelvis at a female fan. Immediately, Green Ant applied his lock and picked up the comeback win. Ryan was irate after the match and called for the microphone. However, Green Ant tossed him out of the ring.
Open the Super Special Main Event Gate
7) Willie Mack, Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of the Throwbacks defeated Kobald, Kodama and Obariyon of the Batiri when Sugar and Dasher finished off Kobald with the Grandslam Dunk. Mack and the 'backs rocked the house and finished the night with a fun match that had the fans cheering and applauding for more.

- Three shows in and Dragon Gate Americana is turning the independent wrestling scene on its head. The promotion plans to continue working one show a month in Reseda, with each show being made available through SMVOD.
- Furthermore, news is coming in that some top foreign talent from Japan and Mexico may be touring Dragon Gate Americana in the near future. Word is that the promotion is having to fork over some major cash to bring these stars in!
- Sami Callihan has issued a challenge to Eddie Kingston at Fearless. Callihan states he wants to face Kingston in a no-disqualification, falls-count-anywhere match. Kingston replied on YouTube and said Callihan must love being destroyed and buried by BLKOUT. In conclusion, Kingston accepted.
- Willie Mack is scheduled to defend the Open the Freedom Gate Championship at Untouchable. His opponent, however, hasn't been chosen by the company, as they plan to see the outcome of Callihan vs. Kingston at Fearless before making that decision.
