GLCW TV #1 @ Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
Great Lakes Championship Wrestling started out GLCW TV #1 with Booker D., the GLCW President, coming out to the ring. Booker D. told the fans in attendance that he was pleased to bring professional wrestling back to the Great Lakes. He boldly proclaimed that GLCW would be about pure wrestling, not sport's entertainment. The fans obviously loved the last statement.
Texas Hangmen vs. Tolos Brothers
- John and Chris Tolos made short work of the Texas Hangmen, Killer and Psycho. Chris and Psycho started the match trading fists. Psycho hit Chris with a running power slam, but Chris was able to quickly make it back to his feet and work over the Texas Hangman. Psycho eventually tagged in Killer, but John Tolos finished him with a Flying Knee Drop!
The Missing Link vs. Brad Armstrong
- The Missing Link gave Brad Armstrong a nasty beating. Armstrong was able to wrestle circles around the Missing Link at first, but the odd brawler struck Armstrong with a chair when the referee was down. The Missing Link was then able to beat down the fan favorite and finish him off with the Back Flying Headbutt.
PG-13 bumped into Bob Armstrong backstage. Wolfie D. and J.C. Ice poke fun at "Bullet" Bob because his son just lost a match. Armstrong kept his cool and told them that the Armstrongs would gladly take them on next week. PG-13 laughed and accepted.
Jim Powers vs. Ox Baker
- Ox Baker put Jim Powers away with haste. Baker was thrown off by Powers' agility early on; however, Ox had more power than Powers had speed. Ox eventually dismantled Powers with each power move he hit. After realizing Powers wasn't getting up from a shoulder breaker, Baker didn't even care to use the Heart Punch.
The Sandman vs. Tracy Smothers
- Tracy Smothers picked up a win over the Sandman via disqualification. The Sandman got a quick two count after the White Russian Leg Sweep and went for his Singapore Cane. After the Sandman struck Smothers over the head, the referee had no other choice but to call for the bell. After the match, Smothers took the Singapore Cane from the Sandman and beat him all the way to the back.
- Tolos Brothers beat Texas Hangmen via pinfall
- The Missing Link beat Brad Armstrong via pinfall
- Ox Baker beat Jim Powers via pinfall
- Tracy Smothers beat the Sandman via disqualification
