I know how that feels when plans go another way thanks to the dice but like you said it was a house show so no one saw it lol. I really enjoy your old school television tapings format and the use of managers as enhancement talent. That MSG card looks good and I like the special 1:00 start time.

Thanks Crue, I decided every "year" will have a huge card at MSG or who knows, maybe Shea Stadium depending on what is going on at the time.
And bringing in guys from "other federations" lets me play some cards I am ignoring
Now who will be my 3L (Lucha Libre Legends) champ and who will represent Japan?
Is Abe Lincoln defending the Illinois Jr. Title? Maybe.
That's the fun part.

MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK, NY - The Blue Meanie pinned Johnny Rodz @ 10:00 after a body slam. Rodz attacked Meanie after the bell but was cleared from the ring - JWLA INTERNATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Mr. Saito & Steve “Dr. Death” Williams def. Larry Sharpe & Buddy Rose @ 10:52 when Saito made Sharpe submit to the SCORPION LEGLOCK - IWLF LADIES CHAMPION Penny Banner pinned Trinity Denucci @ 10:47 by executing a SUNSET FLIP from the ring apron as Denucci was trying to prevent her from re-entering the ring after being thrown to the floor. - S.D. Jones & Soul Train Jones def. The Grapplers #1 & #2 @ 11:02 when S.D. pinned Grappler #2 after a HEAD BUTT. After the match, the Grapplers argued with #1 kicking #2 with the LOADED BOOT and unmasking him! But the mystery man managed to grab a towel at ringside and cover his face as he ran back to the dressing room! - 3L (Lucha Libre Legends) CHAMPION Konnan pinned Pepper Gomez @ 14:29 with the TEQUILA SUNRISE - IWLF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION Dan “The Beast” Severn pinned Harley Race @ 44:22 after a fireman’s carry slam - Angelo Poffo & Lanny Poffo def. IWLF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov @ 16:24 to win the titles when Lanny pinned Zhukov after a top rope neck snap and with a handful of tights for extra leverage - Jimmy “Boogie Woogie Man” Valiant def. The Terrible Turk @ 14:23 by disqualification when Turk applied his camel backbreaker to Valiant on the floor outside the ring and refused to break the hold. It took several wrestlers from the back to get the wildman from Turkey off his opponent. - Larry “The Axe” Hennig pinned IWLF UNITED STATES CHAMPION Randy “Macho Man” Savage @ 14:10 after a turnbuckle squash to win the title. Savage’s foot was on the bottom rope during the pin but the referee didn’t see it. Savage punched the referee after the match and delivered his FLYING ELBOW DROP to the official who was carried from the ring on a stretcher - JWLA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION Antonio Inoki pinned The Belgian Brawler @ 11:36 after an ENZUIGIRI
Some observations after year 2 is complete....
Severn vs. Race was an awesome match. Probably the best I've rolled all "year" Both guys hit their finishers but couldn't score the win. Severn's add one was the difference in this one as Race fatigued after multiple slams during the match. Match of the Year.
Randy Savage has been pretty much unstoppable but no one beats SNAKE EYES. He had kicked out of a pin earlier and his PIN was only 2. Ouch. Will Savage focus on the World title now?
The Poffos didn't go home completely unhappy as they managed to steal the tag titles from the Russians.
The Grapplers broke up. I was using Cousin Luke as Grappler #2 but they didn't really impress so I decided to break them up since the match ended on doubles.
Got to use some of my "international" champions for the big year end show.
What will happen in Year 3? How much of an impact will new stars One Man Gang and Magnum T.A. make? Who else will show up?
We'll see.

Always a fun read godzillajoe, I love the old school WWWF feel of your fed. The TV tapings are always a highlight for me. It looks like The Executioners are in line for a tag title shot and I like the combo of P.N. News and D-Lo Brown. The Terrible Turk with The Grand Wizard is pretty cool and his feud with Jimmy Valiant should be fun. The suspension of Randy Savage was well deserved but the TV angle was awesome with him coming out of the crowd to attack Larry Hennig.

I always liked the pairing of Andre & S.D. Jones but too bad they couldn't win the tag titles. Hats off literally to Hillbilly Jim on winning the U.S. title from Larry Hennig.

I was hoping they wouldn't win. It was very WWWF to throw together a team with Andre and someone back in the day and challenge the tag champs. S.D., Rick McGraw etc. Now, Hillbilly Jim. Of course he won! Whenever I try to have an "easy" night for one of my champions it backfires. But the dice have final say. So I gotta go with it. We'll see what happens at the TV tapings tomorrow morning.

They have a way of changing plans frequently but I guess it is one of the things that make this game so great. It should be interesting to see how long Hillbilly Jim can hold on to the title.

Yeah, we'll see. Not sure what I wanna set up next. I've sorta kept him around as a "lifer" in my fed. He seems to win more than he loses. It was a toss up between him and Duggan. But poor Hennig had no chance at all rolling a 4 on a PIN. (he had accumulated 1 token already) I generally won't roll interference or distraction on less than 5. Curt would have come in on the next pin roll. Oh well. It won't be the last time plans go awry.
