On July 4th, from Philadelphia PA, PWIS will host it's first annual Spirit of Independence Tournament. 16 stars from PWIS and other promotions will compete to see who is the best in independent wrestling! The winner of this inaugural tournament will also be crowned the first PWIS Champion! The field of competitors will be drawn from three sources. The top ten seeds will be taken from the PWIS Rankings. Throughout the month of June the competition to get into the top ten will be fierce. Those in the rankings come June 30th will be entered into the tourney. Two slots will be reserved by the championship committee for special invitees who will be announced later in the month.
That leaves four spots that will be left up to the PWIS fans to determine. PWIS always strives to give the fans what they want and here is your chance to tell us. We have been in contact with stars from outside PWIS who have committed to appear should they be chosen. So now it's up to you to pick the four indy stars you would like to see entered into this historic tournament. Thanks for voting!
