I have decided to reboot my GWF Fed. The action between the cards really took away from the joy of playing out the matches so I cut the filer and will just focus on the in ring action.
Card 2119.01.01 – Niagara Tower of Lights, New York, USA, Earth
We get a solid promo from Commissioner Massif to open things as he welcomes the fans to the place where it all started, the Niagara Tower of Lights. Cheap pop! Massif tells us that it is only fitting that the new beginning for the GWF should take place in the very same venue where the action began so many years ago. Massif informs the fans that GWF Titles have been vacated and that new champions will be determined in the coming cards. But for now, it is time to get to the action. Ani-Men of Andromeda (Swarm, Antak & Minotaur) w/She Devil v. The Greatest Show in the Galaxy (Steele Freak, The Amazing Mann & Kill Prey) w/Vin Strutter The GSITG have a long circus type introduction including Freak being pushed to the ring in a cage and Mann escaping from chains. Minotaur starts off with an exchange against Mann and the action spills outside where Minotaur thrashes Mann. Back in the ring Minotaur connects with THE MINOTAUR’S CHARGE for a near fall. Antak is in for the ANIMEN FINISH for another near fall. Swarm is in and keeps the attack going. A Swarm Attack stuns Mann but Mann is able to finally tag out against Minotaur. Kill Prey struggles against Minotaur and Antak tags in scoring a near fall with an Andromeda Drop. Antak tangles Prey in the ropes and hammers away. ANIMEN FINISH. Mann breaks up the cover on Prey. Minotaur connects with an Andromeda Drop of his own for two. Minotaur comes off the top with a deathjump but Prey rolls clear sending his opponent crashing to the mat. Prey hooks the leg for two. Freak tags in and immediately takes the action to floor running Minotaur into the rails by the fans busting him open. Baruum Forus calls for the disqualification as both teams start a chaotic brawl. Strutter’s team gets the best of the Ani-Men and leave ringside to great heat. Time: 9:27
Lorelei v. Thrash Baruum Forus is assigned to referee the action in back to back bouts and calls for the bell. Thrash dominates the action early on with a combination of whips into the corner and power moves. At one point she connects with four single arm DDTs in a row. A running slingshot in the corner sets up a FEMME FATAL and the Gladiator opens the season crushing her competition. Time: 1:46
Society of Death (Tanck & The Betrayer) w/Thantos v. Fighting Titans (Tristan & Payback) Great ovation for the Titans as they come to ringside. Tristan gives a fan one of his masks. Solid pop. The Betrayer looks impressive early on and quickly gets Tristan down and unleashes all three of his finishers but Tristan survives. The excitement at ringside builds as Betrayer mounts the corner for a deathjump smash but takes out Phillip Haas in the process. With Haas down and out, Tanck brawls with Payback while Betrayer punishes Tristan in and out of the ring including two ALL FALL DOWN holds and a wicked chair shot. Baruum Forus arrives and assumes the officiating duties as Haas is assisted to the back. Payback saves Tristan from a TOTAL BETRAYAL. Betrayer locks in the hold a second time and again Payback breaks things up. Betrayer locks in TOTAL BETRAYAL again for the win. Payback never officially tags into the bout as Betrayer has a dominating match. Time: 5:53.
Sly Drury w/Thantos v. Switchblade w/Lorelei Torin Caelum is the assigned official for this bout and he gives the Gamesmaster a stern warning before the bell. Blade starts strong and stuns Drury with a Springboard Huracanrana for a near fall early on. Blade is in total control. He traps Drury in the rope and hammers away with a series of punches with the fans cheering each blow. Thantos is all over Caelum. Drury manages to escape a Centaurus Leg Lock. Blade uses a running slingshot in the corner followed by back to back deathjump smashes to set up the BLADE OF RETRIBUTION. Thantos interferes in the bout but Blade tosses him to the floor. Blade then traps Drury in another Centaurus Leg Lock for the submission win. Time: 5:02.
Tauran v. Epoch w/Slave Beast We get a long intro from Slave Beast that promises Epoch will soon be turning his attention to conquering Earth. Baruum Forus calls for the bell. Epoch sends the match to the floor almost immediately where it is two on one attack against Tauran. Anivar comes out to his partner’s aid earning a solid ovation from the fans. Epoch can only get a two count with THE DARK AGE. Tauran draws on the fans support and mounts a comeback trapping Epoch in a TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER. Epoch power out but Tauran gets a near fall with a deathjump cross body block before planting Epoch with a LEG HOOK PILEDRIVER. 1, 2, kick out. The action goes to the floor and all four men exchange blows with Genesis getting the better of the Colonizers. Back inside, Tauran maintains control of the action. Things start to break down at this point. Tauran eats the ring post and is busted open. It is all Epoch with a solid power attack including a series of Epoch Slams, a backbreaker rack and cradle neckbreaker. Tauran gets fired up again on the floor and regains the upper hand. Slave Beast distracts Forus and saves Epoch from a TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER. The match goes back to the floor. While Beast and Anivar brawl at ringside, Epoch and Tauran trade blows on the apron. Epoch ducks a punch and backdrops Tauran into the ring just as the referee’s count reaches ten. Epoch has been counted out of the ring. All four men brawl post match and Forus calls in security. Time: 9:38
The Troubleshooters (Muss & The Bomb) w/Phantasy v. Stars and Stripes (American Guy & US Male) w/Latasha The ovation for Stars and Stripes is deafening. The fans cheer each blow landed by American Guy as he starts the action and squares off first against The Bomb and then Muss. Guy gets into some trouble after getting caught with a Double Phantasy but is able to get the hot tag to Male. Male looks impressive against Bomb with his speed and skill. A Double Roundhouse Kick sets up DAWN’S EARLY BLIGHT. Male cuts off Muss but Phantasy is able to distract Torin Caelum keeping the Troubleshooters alive. Guy hits a hip toss power bomb for a two count on Bomb. Male is back in but his deathjump is countered by Bomb with a boot to the face. Muss works over Male but Male is able to drag Muss to the floor and whip him shoulder first into the ring post. Monster pop from ringside! Guy is back in and downs Muss with Black and Blue for a near fall. Muss gets beat on in and out of the ring. Muss gets trapped in the ropes and Guy dishes out some more punishment. Stars and Stripes execute DAWN’S EARLY BLIGHT. Male blocks The Bomb from making the save but Phantasy tries to attack American Guy. Latasha tackles Phantasy and the crowd explodes. Guy drops Muss with AMERICAN FIREPOWER but can only get a two count! DAWN’S EARLY BLIGHT. 1, 2, 3. Impressive win for Stars and Stripes Time: 10:27
Gladiators of Aethra v. The Guardians The Gladiators look impressive as they make their way to ringside for a six man war. Torin Caelum is going to have his work cut for him. Reckless shows some courage and steps into the ring to start against Paralyze. With the fans support Reckless uses his speed to avoid Paralyze’s attack and then scores a 1 count with a springboard moonsault. Valour is anxious to get in and does so next taking the match to the floor. Paralyze gets the best of the lengthy brawl outside and Disaster is in for the Gladiators. The match goes back to ringside and Disaster runs Valour into the ringside rails busting him open. Caelum has seen enough and calls for the disqualification. The fans are treated to an awesome post match brawl and it takes the full security team to restore order. Time: 2:48
Bloodline w/Lorelei v. Encubus w/Thantos Bloodline appears to be taken back by the large ovation he receives as he makes his way to the ring. Once again Torin Caelum has some stern words for Thantos who gives it back to the referee drawing more heat. Encubus gets the early control with a series of Force of Darkness for a 1 count. SECOND COMING gets another near fall. The action goes to the floor and it is a two on one beat down. The fans are giving it to Caelum. Back inside, Encubus strikes with a GAMESMASTER DDT for another near fall. Bloodline then is trapped in a MAFFEI MASTERLOCK and after a lengthy struggle rolls Encubus over to break the hold. Encubus comes off the top with a deathjump smash and then ends it with SECOND COMING. Bloodline is completely dominated in his first bout apart from the Evil Gamesmaster. Time: 3:23

Card 2119.02.02 – Precipice Pavilion at the Oasis, Mercury
Commissioner Massif opens the show with the Galaxian Title in hand and tells the fans that the tournament to determine the first Galaxian Champion in the GWF’s new beginning gets underway tonight. (great pop from ringside). Encubus w/Thantos v. Swarm w/She Devil There is plenty to watch in and out of the ring in our opener. Phillip Haas is our official for the first match. Encubus starts quickly gaining a near fall with a Satanic Skull Smasher and then immediately attempts the submission with a MAFFEI MASTERLOCK. Swarm reverses and Encubus follows with a SECOND COMING for a 2 count. She Devil is frantic already and Swarm responds catching Encubus on the top of the corner and tossing him to the mat. Encubus nails Swarm with another SECOND COMING to advance to the next round. Time: 3:00
Payback v. Switchblade w/Lorelei Although she is associated with both men, Lorelei stands in her son’s corner as Barrum Forus calls for the bell. Switchblade uses is agility to get the early advantage with a series of Flying Missile Shots and Slicing Kicks. Payback bails and Blade makes the mistake of coming out after him allowing Payback to get the upper hand at ringside. Payback hits EXVENGE (4) for a 2 count. The fans thought it was over. Payback sets up a table and despite the pleas of Lorelei hits the table splash! The fans eat it up. Both men are feeling it as the action goes in and out of the ring. Switchblade gets the advantage during a brawl on the floor and then attempts a submission with a Centaurus Leg Lock. Payback manages to counter and then the action goes outside again. Payback then grabs a chair and cracks Switchblade across the back and is disqualified. The fans don’t like the call and Payback has some choice words for Forus but the result is what it is and Switchblade is onto the second round to face Encubus. Time: 4:29
Disaster v. Steele Freak w/Vin Strutter Strutter makes a long introduction for Freak who is brought to ringside in a cage and only comes out when he is shocked with a stun gun. The fans dump all over Strutter who just eats up the heat. Torin Caelum has the unfortunate task of attempting to maintain order in this one. Disaster looks huge in the ring against Freak but Freak shows no fear and battles hard from the start. A series of maniac clotheslines gets the first near fall of the match. Freak follows with a BESERK POUNDING ASSAULT for a two count. Disaster struggles to get something going but finally gets the best of his opponent during a brawl on the floor. A Decapitator nearly kills Freak but the action continues. Freak battles back connecting with a deathjump and then another BESERK POUNDING ASSAULT. Disaster kicks out of the cover and Freak attacks with FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS for another near fall. Disaster is in trouble and fans can smell an upset coming. Freak unleashes another BESERK POUNDING ASSAULT and this time gets shocking win. Strutter is over the moon! Time: 7:07. Valour v. Havoc Havoc comes to ring and works the crowd. He seems in an unusually good mood for a Gladiator especially considering that Disaster was just ousted from the Galaxian Title Tournament. Havoc looks impressive in the opening moments but Valour wins a brawl outside and immediately tries for the win with a WARRIOR’S RAGE without success. There is nasty spot where Havoc gets backdropped to the floor and then run into the rails by Valour. Referee Baruum Forus warns Valour but the Guardian grabs a chair and continues his attack with a VIOLENT OUTBURST. Forus calls for the disqualification ending Valour’s bid for the title. Time: 2:00
Endgame v. The Amazing Mann w/Vin Strutter Mann is brought to the ring wrapped in chains and manages to escape as Strutter provides commentary for the fans who jeer the routine. It is all Endgame from the outset with a series of whips into the corner, a pair of Shinning Wizards and a dive to the floor that has the fans on their feet. A Top Rope Catapult gets the first pin attempt of the bout. Endgame dives out on Mann a second time and the fans explode. Back inside, Mann kicks out after an ULTIMA LEAP. Mann bails and manages to trip up Endgame from the floor and run his opponent’s leg into the ring post. Mann tries for the submission with CONTORTION but Endgame escapes. Endgame counters a deathjump with a boot to the face but is slow mounting the corner himself and Mann tosses him to the mat. Endgame gets the best of an exchange on the floor and then dives back out onto both Mann and Strutter at ringside. The fans are unglued. Mann is nearly counted out of the ring. A Northern Lights Bomb sends Mann back to the floor and Endgame comes out after him but Mann scores with a low blow that Phillip Haas does not see. The action goes back and forth at this point as Mann gets his first real offense of the night. Endgame wins an exchange on the floor and then plants Mann with a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Frustrated, Mann tosses Endgame to the floor and Endgame drags Mann outside and connects with a kick to the jaw. Mann survives a rolling figure four. Both men are exhausted. Endgame with a Shinning Wizard. 1, 2, Strutter distracts Haas. Mann blocks a deathjump with a boot to the face and unleashes a flurry of submission holds but Endgame will not go down. Outside, Endgame snaps and clocks Mann across the back with a chair shot and then decks Strutter. The fans are cheering so loud the bell can be barely heard. Endgame has been disqualified and is out of the running for the gold. Vin Strutter’s men knock off two of the favourites in one night. Time: 20:09
Kill Prey w/Vin Strutter vs. Reckless Strutter is out for the third time tonight but is either too tired or too scared to introduce Prey. The bout has some great speed early on. Prey gains the advantage when he counters a deathjump with a boot to the face. Hunter’s Eye Claw forces Reckless to grab the ropes. Reckless catches Prey on the top of the buckles and tosses him to the mat. RECKLESS DRIVER. 1, 2, 3! [snake eyes!] Another huge upset. Prey is not pleased and just glares a Strutter who made no effort to save Prey from being pinned. Time: 3:03.

A Bloodline Vertibreaker leads to the first near fall from Baruum Forus. A handshake ends the action as well and the fans show their appreciation. Time: 2:17.
Paralyze v. Epoch w/Slave Beast Beast lets the fans know that Mercury is on the short list for domination at the hands of Epoch and they respond with great heat. Epoch comes out very strong and takes over the action leading to THE DARK AGE for an early two count. Epoch rocks the ring with a cradle neckbreaker but the Gladiator soon comes back during a brawl on the floor. Soon Epoch is a bloody mess after a pair of brawls on the floor. Brutal Infliction takes its toll on Epoch. The action eventually evens out and Epoch manages to execute a Pavo Powerbomb on Paralyze. Paralyze comes back including High Tension but Epoch counters a charge in the corner with an elbow to the face and then hits a backbreaker rack. Epoch takes the action to the floor and levels the Gladiator with a chair shot. Paralyze can actually bleed! THE DARK AGE. Phillip Haas counts 1, 2, 3. Epoch advances! Time: 6:58

The pace of this one was off the charts as both men exchanged offense leaving it all in the ring.
