Introducing the SWF
The Superstar Wrestling Federation is a fed that I have personally played for about a year now. I had made some attempts before to post fed results but was not able to keep up, so I am rebooting my fed from scratch and posting its story on this thread for all to see! I guess what I want to start out with is a brief history lesson to kind of set up the scene.
It all started in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with a dream. Owen Sammartino had a dream to carry on his family name of being one of the best superstars in wrestling history. Unfortunately a nasty leg injury cut his wrestling career short but not his love for the sport. He began to study the art of promotion. His dream was now not to be the best but to show the best. He made a few phone calls and the SWF was born. The roster consists of some of the greatest stars to step into the ring. Legends that are household names across the country have signed on to make the SWF the greatest wrestling federation in history.
The SWF
So now that you know the history of my fed let me kind of rundown how this thread is going to go. I will have a weekly 8 match card/show titled All-Star Wrestling. It will run in arenas all over the country every Monday night. The last Sunday of every month will play host to a 10 match super card/PPV.
In between the Monday night shows I plan on having a weekly broadcast called Inside the SWF. This show will hold interviews with champions as well as other stars in the SWF. It will be hosted each week by Mean Gean Okerland!
There are 3 singles titles and 1 tag-team championship to be won. The SWF World Heavyweight Championship will be dubbed the major title in the SWF with the United States and International Championships named as minor titles. The World Tag-Team Championship will be the only tag-team titles recognized in the fed at this time.
This is most defiantly just a short introduction into the world that has played in my mind for some time now. I hope you stick around to see how this fed plays out!

Inside the SWF Episode 1 11/2/13
On today’s show Mean Gean will talk to the man himself Owen Sammartino as well as Bobby the Brain and Nick Bockwinkel. He will also sit down with one of the greatest tag-teams of all time, Legion of Doom.
Interview with Owen Sammartino Mean Gean does not hold any punches in his interview with the SWF president. Sammartino explains why he decided to not televise the tournaments that led up to our first All-Star Wrestling next Monday by saying “I felt that I wanted to have a so called Night of Champions for the first ASW. In order to do this we had to have a lot of matches in a short period of time. That couldn’t have been done on TV.” In case you are unsure as to what Owen is talking about, there were four tournament held to determine who would be face off for the titles of the SWF. Those title matches will be held Monday and we will have our first champions.
Interview with Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel Nick Bockwinkel will be representing the Heenan family when he takes on Mil Mascaras for the World Heavyweight Championship. He will have the man himself Bobby Heenan in his corner for the match. When asked what he had up his sleeve to take home the title Bockwinkel stated “ Being the first Champ in the SWF would make me an instant Hall of Famer, therefor all I have to say is I will do whatever it takes to walk out of that ring with the gold around my waist!” The brain looked on with a grin. Will these two manipulate their way into the history books? Bobby Heenan has two shots at history Monday night for another member of the Hennan Family will be in a title match when Colt Cabana takes on Bryan Danielson for the International Championship. The brain ended the interview by promising “Our family will wake up Monday morning with nothing and go to sleep with everything. Watch as the Heenan Family takes over the SWF!”
Interview with Legion of Doom It is no secret that Animal and Hawk make one of the most successful tag-teams in the history of wrestling. Mean Gean had the chance to sit down with them and ask what they had planned for the SWF fans. Hawk was quoted as saying “We have wrestled all over the world and not once have we giving anything but 100%, the SWF will be no different! After All-Star Wrestling on Monday night we will walk out champions once again.” Don’t miss the Legion of Doom take on Midnight Express to crown the first ever SWF World Tag-Team Champions.
All-Star Wrestling, 11/4/13, Pittsburgh PA Hacksaw Jim Duggan VS Antonio Inoki Killer B’s VS Kangaroos Steve Williams VS Johnny Valentine Sabu VS RVD Curt Hennig VS Ted DiBiase-United States title match Bryan Danielson VS Colt Cabana-International title match Legion of Doom VS Midnight Express- World Tag-Team title match Nick Bockwinkel VS Mil Mascaras-World Heavyweight title match

All-Star Wrestling Card 1 11/4/13 Pittsburgh PA
Matches Hacksaw Jim Duggan VS Antonio Inoki Killer B’s VS The Fabulous Kangaroos Steve Williams VS Johnny Valentine Sabu Vs Rob Van Dam United States Championship Curt Hennig VS Ted DiBiase International Championship Bryan Danielson VS Colt Cabana World Tag-Team Championship Road Warriors VS Midnight Express World Heavyweight Championship Mil Mascaras VS Nick Bockwinkel
The show opens with Owen Sammartino in the middle of the ring welcoming fans to the newest show on the wrestling landscape. He hypes up all the title matches that we are going to see. He then announces who the ringside announcers are going to be. It has been a big secret until now who would be calling the matches at ringside. Music hits and Toney Schiavone makes his way to the announce table along with his partner in crime the ECW legend TAZZ. They welcome everyone to the show and Sammartino will take his seat at the announce table where he will watch the action from tonight.
Antonio Inoki defeats Hacksaw Jim Duggan by Count out In what was truly a back and forth match it looked like nether wrestler really had the advantage. Hacksaw was quick to toss Inoki out of the ring that started a ringside brawl. Avoiding disqualification both men worked their way back into the ring. Chants of USA filled the air as America’s hero Duggan was on the downfall. Hacksaw fought back but it was Inoki that landed a devastating ENZUIGIRI that lead to Duggan being tossed out the ring and counted out.
After the match chants of USA stilled filled the air of the Consul Energy Center in Pittsburgh PA. Giant Baba made his way to the ring to help support his friend form Japan. Hacksaw still at ringside stubbles to his feet and rolls in the ring to attempt to claim the ring back for America. The two former Japan champions turn and begin to attack Duggan. In a matter of minutes fellow patriot Greg Valentine comes to Duggan’s rescue and chases the attackers out. Can you say World War 3?
With the action dying down in the ring we see a shot of the back stage parking lot and the audience goes nuts as they watch Mil Mascaras arrive at the arena with hopes of becoming the SWF Champion!
The Fabulous Kangaroos defeat The Killer B’s by Pin This match was a total complete let down. Roy Heffernan knew something was not right with Jim Brunzell and took advantage of the mistake the B’s made when they sent him out first. 30 seconds into the match Heffernan and Costello hit the BOOMERANG and nailed the pin fall. Killer B’s looked like they needed some help.
Backstage we head to the locker room of the Heenan Family. It appears that Bobby and the others were just watching that tag match and saw something that they like. Bockwinkel lead Cabana and Heenan out of the locker room. What are these guys up to?
Steve Williams defeats Johnny Valentine by Pin In what could be called a show stealer, Williams and Valentine both started strong right from the bell. In back and forth fashion both inside and outside the ring it appeared that both stars where in for a battle. Valentine was able to bust Williams head open and made Dr. Death bleed with not one but two consecutive ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS. It looked like it was going to be a loss for Williams but somehow he was able to unleash one of the greatest come backs you will see. After smashing Valentine with the OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE the bloody Dr. Death was able to secure the pin fall.
After the match Steve Williams grabs a mic and talks about how excited he is to be a part of this new wrestling federation. He makes a clam that he should have been the one in the United States title match, only losing to Curt Hennig in the semifinal by way of Count out when Hennig knocked him out cold with a chair. Williams wants revenge and says that no matter who wins the SWF United States Championship tonight he wants a piece of Hennig next week on All-Star Wrestling.
Backstage we see the Heenan Family walk into an unmarked locker room. We see the door open and Bobby Heenan appears to start talking to whoever is in the locker room. It seems like he is trying to recruit for the family. Could the Heenan Family really be making a move to go down under?
Rob Van Dam defeats Sabu due to forfeit Back in the ring we see a somewhat disappointed Owen Sammartino who explains to the fans that the Sabu Vs RVD match has been forfeited by Sabu. Owen is unsure why but he explains that this kind of thing will not be tolerated in the SWF. Just as he says that Sabu shows up on the giant video above the walk way stating that already the SWF is biased toward Americans and until this changes the SWF will continue to struggle with him as well as his forging allies. Do we seriously have a war of nations going on here in SWF? Sammartino leaves his ringside seat and immediately heads to his office backstage. He sure does have a big problem on his hand that could ruin the SWF before it ever gets started.
Ted DiBiase defeats Curt Hennig by submission to become the first United States Champion Curt Hennig came into this match a bit distracted due to the building tension that is going on between himself and Steve Williams. The Million Dollar Man took full advantage of the situation. He came out strong and proved that he wanted this championship. He kicked out of one pin attempt by Hennig and the rest is history. Hennig was no match for the MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER as DiBiase becomes the first SWF United States Champion.
Ted DiBiase is celebrating in the ring with his title when out of anger Curt Hennig smashed a chair over the champs back. Hennig begins to kick DiBiase in his ribs when out of nowhere a bandaged up Steve Williams sprints to the ring to help DiBiase, or beat the tar out of Hennig. He smashes Hennig with a nasty forearm and gets the champ out of the ring. As Williams helps DiBiase back to the locker room area Henning is left staring down Williams building more hype for this ongoing feud.
Meanwhile backstage you see Bobby Heenan getting ready to walk to the ring with Colt Cabana for his International Championship match. They are leaving the unmarked locker room. When you see those two walk to the left you see The Killer B’s walk out and go to the right. What on earth!?
Bryan Danielson defeats Colt Cabana by Pin fall to become the first International Champion This was an amazing match to determine the first SWF International champ. Cabana and Heenan had talked smack for a week guaranteeing a victory for the Heenan Family while Danielson was quiet and taking the match more seriously. This became evident right from the start. Cabana tried to get the quick upper hand when he jumped off the top rope and attempted to take down Danielson. In reality he knocked out the ref for an extended period of time and Danielson took full advantage. He slammed Cabana with a TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. He immediately attempted a pin but the now awake ref became distracted by The Brain. The ref kicked Heenan out of ringside, turned around and Danielson had Cabana in the LEBELL LOCK. The rest is history and Danielson was named the first ever SWF International Champion.
Mean Gean is back stage with Mil Mascaras who says that he is going to sweep the Heenan Family and make sure they walk away with no championships tonight. When asked about the foreigners of the SWF being rebellious Mascaras had this to say. , “I am staying focused on my title match. After I am champ I will worry about the rest of the SWF American or not.”
Road Warriors defeat Midnight Express by Pin to become the first World Tag-Team Champs The Road Warriors sent out Hawk to take on Bobby Eaton for the start of the match. These two went back and forth until Eaton was forced to make the tag to Lane. Lane put the advantage in there corner and was able to attempt a pin. Animal was having none of that and stopped the pin. Now the leagal man in Animal took the momentum and ran with it. Hitting the DOOMSDAY DEVICE proved to be the final nail in the coffin and the Road Warriors walked away as the first SWF World Tag-Team Champion
Right before the main event we see Bobby Heenan backstage on the floor of his locker room. He was clearly attacked and knocked out.
Back in the ring Mil Mascaras is waiting for Nick Bockwinkel to come to the ring. After waiting for some time Owen Sammartino makes his way to the ring. He tells Bockwinkel he has two minutes to make it to the ring. No sooner do we see a beat up Bockwinkel make his way to the ring. The match was on.
Mil Mascaras defeats Nick Bockwinkel by Pin to become the first World Heavyweight Champion Bockwinkel had no chance in this one. Already beat up it took only one FLYING BODYPRESS which came very early on in the match to win Mascaras the championship
After the match the show ends with Abdullah Farouk on the big screen saying that change is on the rise in the SWF.
Upcoming in the SWF What is to come of this rebellion? Who are the new recruits for the Heenan Family? How will The Brain deal with walking away with no titles and being attacked all in one night? Will Steve Williams get his revenge on Curt Hennig? Find out all this and much more on the next All-Star Wrestling!

Great debut action. Like everyone who walked away as Champions. Sucks the B's weren't competitive on this night.
