Anybody else get that feeling after last night? Definitely was not the best wrestlemania in terms of match quality, but could be one of the more memorable in terms of historical impact. Seemed like a coming out party for the "new guard" as cesaro wins the battle royal, the shield absolutely take kane and the outlaws apart and bryan defeats helmsley before beating orton and batista.Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, that would be the most significant achievement in WWE history coming to an end. Don't get me wrong, as I don't think lesnar was the correct choice, but the impact and reaction was nothing I ever expected. Absolutely floored by the outcome. Thoughts...

I am sad "The Streak" ended. It is/was one of the few special things left in pro wrestling. I am saddened it was to Brock (I quit football, MMA, and sometimes wrestle) Lesnar. I believe if the streak had to end, it should have been to someone who wrestles full time and the moment would have made them a star. Just me I guess. Happy for Cesaro winning the gimmick battle royal, Cena, and Bryan.

An incredible Mania last night, and certainly memorable in many ways. Daniel Bryan winning wasn't a huge surprise, but the story they told was great. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Caesaro in the Battle Royal, as I expected him to be out once he was in the tag match. I was thrilled to see him win it and do it by slamming the Big Show. So happy that Team Uppercut both were made stars last night. As for Taker, I'm glad the streak ended, not sure Brock should have been the guy, but it will be a good story used to set up Brock and Bryan for the title tonight.

I believe they ended the streak perfectly. If you have a match with Undertaker versus Roman Reigns at WM 31 for the streak we would expect the Undertaker to lose. Yeah the Undertaker would have "passed the torch" but in reality Reigns would have beaten an old washed up Undertaker that just can't go anymore. By having Lesnar beat Taker you had one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history which doesn't happen if we expect Taker lose. Watch the crowd during the match, no one took the false finishes seriously. It was just a foregone conclusion that Taker was going to win. If the streak is going to end make it the most shocking, unexpected event you possibly can. It's only going to end once, so make it memorable and they did. People will never forget the feeling they had last night and those moments are every, very rare in wrestling.
Ending the streak also does a couple of things. One, you can build off this with Lesnar over the next year making him this unstoppable beast to be put down at next years wrestlemania. By the time Paul Heyman is done talking over the next year whomever beats Lesnar will be made. Second if Taker has any more Wrestlemania matches left we can now have doubt as to if we will win or lose. If he faced Sting next year with the streak intact no one would care because Sting's not ending the streak. Now there is a possibility Sting could win. Same goes for anyone else Taker faces.
The streak was awesome, but I think they ended it the right way.

I completly agree. This was the perfect year for the streak to end because this was the first year no one seemed to be asking "is this the year?" Those shots of the shocked crowd is the greatest visual in Mania history.
All and all I think this Mania was very good from an in ring perspective. Hell even the diva's brought their A game. (It wasn't great but the most entertaining women's match (in the E) in years. I would of preferred seeing Wyatt win but with the story they told it made sense and Wyatt wasn't hurt by it because he wasn't really trying to win. It was a solid 8.5-9 out of 10. Maybe my 2nd favorite only behind 17.

I agree that you cannot put a price on the shock value of lesnar's clean victory, and the looks on the faces of the crowd, and those in my living room, were priceless too! I always assumed that cena would be the logical choice to end the streak. Not saying I agree with that either, but upon further review, I guess it's a good thing that wrestling can still provide the occasional WTF moment, right? That being said, I am going out on a limb and saying that lesnar's win just surpassed Hogan and andre as the single most memorable moment in wrestlemania history...

I LIKED WRESTLEMANIA THE ONLY MATCH I THINK WAS SHORT WAS THE 3 ON 3 MATCH WITH THE SHEILD VS THE NEWAGEOUTLAWS AND KANE THAT WAS FAST SHOCKED THAT THE UNDERTAKER LOST GLAD AJ LEE RETAINED HER DIVAS TITLE AND CAN T WAIT 2 SEE HHH TONIGHT ON RAW AS DANIEL BRYAN IS NOW THE FACE OF THE WWE

After reading the results online, I was very surprised by some of them. Most of all for Cesaro. Happy for him though, hope this means he's gonna break out real soon. He's just as deserving as DB imo.

For my money (and I'm certainly not the most unbiased party given that Lesnar is one of my favorite wrestlers ever, if not my number one favorite) I think Brock was the right guy to end the streak. This gives him momentum, something he hasn't had since coming back to the WWE and not only does it give him momentum, it makes him a threat again. The Triple H and Punk feuds made him out to be a monster who was more bark than bite. Beating Undertaker at WrestleMania clean wipes the slate for him going forward.
I'm glad they put emphasis (largely) on young/new talent at WrestleMania though I wish Bray Wyatt would have beaten Cena but that's a minor gripe. From a booking standpoint, this was the best WrestleMania ever. There were no real bad decisions except arguably Cena/Wyatt. Match-wise, the two Bryan matches, the Cena/Wyatt match and the battle royal delivered. Taker/Lesnar, for what it was and considering Undertaker was legit injured at some point in the match, was pretty good too.
Am I alone in thinking this might be the single most newsworthy WrestleMania since at least 21? A lot of big stuff went down on this show.

Could not agree more! The "universe" is clamoring for change and it looks like WWE is giving the people what they want, which is new blood. Did you hear the crowd popping for the wyatt family on raw last night? Awesome! Anyone else notice they basically squashed the I-C champ and 2 former world champs in sheamus and cena? Also awesome! A new era has begun in WWE and yes, I believe the script was written at wrestlemania 30. Definitely news worthy and without a doubt, a turning point in WWE history.
