Just curious about my fellow promoters thoughts on the upcoming PPV. Who do you guys think WILL win, but more importantly, who do you think SHOULD win? My money is on WWE playing it safe and placing the belt on Mr. Reliable, John Cena, which COULD open up a world of possibilities when Daniel Bryan returns. Wouldn't shock me if WWE was so desperate to shake things up that either Bryan or Cena eventually turned heel. Also wouldn't shock me if they were inclined to go backward to try & relive old glories with Cena as champion, either.
However, in a perfect world, THIS promoter would love to see Bray Wyatt emerge as champion, if for no other reason that in addition to being a "fresh" face with alot of heat right now, he's a bit more advanced on the mic at this stage than Roman Reigns. But yet, did anyone think Diesel / Kevin Nash was ready all those years ago? And if Reigns wins, do you totally dismantle the Shield at that point? On a side note, why not let Harper & Rowan take the tag titles as well and run with the Wyatt family as THE dominant faction? Lastly, Cesaro could make for an interesting champion, especially if Paul Heyman was able to claim that not only was the streak ended under his guidance, but taht he also guided Cesaro to the gold as well. I'm thinking this is a crucial period for WWE right now & the result of this match just might dictate what the future holds for the company. Then again, I might be nuts and they might be thinking we just need somebody, anybody, to be champion until Bryan is healthy. Who knows?
Whatever happens, THIS promoter cannot fathom Sheamus, Del Rio or Orton wearing the gold, that's for sure...

There are so many huge faces in the company right now. Cena, Reigns, Sheamus, Reigns, Bryan (When he returns) and even Bray Wyatt. As much as Bray Wyatt is supposed to be a heel he is too hot right now and the fans are totally behind him. I think Orton might be the right choice because he could work programs with all the top faces. With Orton you get a feud with Reigns, Cena, Sheamus, Wyatt, Ambrose and on and on. There are not a huge amount of top heels. HHH (who should never be champ again), Orton and Rollins.
Cesaro isnt quite ready to Main Event. He is US Champ/ IC Champ area right now.
In a PERFECT world the WWE would have convinced Lesnar to stay when he defeated Undertaker and he should be the World Champion. I like how they are having Heyman remind everyone anytime he can that Lesnar is the 1 in 21-1. It leaves a great opening.

Agreed, there are too many faces, that's why I think it's time to turn one that will really shock the fans. Rollins was a start, and I'm a fan, but I think we need an epic heel turn from Cena or Bryan, ala Hogan, to really change the direction. Maybe have Wyatt denounce his followers. Something major needs to occur. Just an opinion.

I'd like Roman to win but I'm banking on Seth Rollins coming out and costing him the match since reports are all indicating that Rollins/Reigns is going to happen at Battleground in July. Reigns is probably my favorite act in WWE right now, even over Bryan (thanks, WWE!) and that's saying a lot given that Bryan is one of my favorite wrestlers ever. Then again, I'm the one guy who thought Reigns winning the Rumble would have been a good idea so what do I know?
Safe money is on Wyatt or Cena winning the ladder match. At this point, I've gone cold on the Wyatt family (thanks, John!) and Cena as champion again is a stupid decision no matter how much money he generates for the company. The difference between Cena and other top guys in WWE history is some of those guys knew when to slide back down the card and let guys have their moment. Cena is not one of those guys. Bret Hart had the whole year of 1995 where he wasn't near the WWF Title at all from the Rumble to Survivor Series and he spent the year working with the undercard talent Cena has never done that. He's always got to go on last. He's like Hogan, minus the ability to make fans care, the ability to put together good matches, the ability to cut promos and be taken seriously...he's pretty much anti-Hogan. Anti-Austin, too.
I could see the entire Wyatt Family leaving MITB with titles which would be a huge step in the right direction for that group, IMO.

Wow, I have to agree. Hulk Hogan made Ultimate Warrior. Ric Flair made Sting. Bret Hart (my all-time fav wrestler) made Steve Austin. Austin, Rock & HHH made each other. John Cena made...John Cena.

I am going to say Orton wins, just because there are so many faces. Granted Orton has never drawn a dime as champion, but it also leaves the door open for when Bryan returns to say that Randy was not the one pinned at Wrestlemania. I would love to see Cesaro win. It will be an interesting match regardless.

I've been boycotting WWE since Payback (and the night after it on RAW). I did watch the clip of Batista quitting and Rollins turning though, and from what I catch on here and the Torch, I haven't needed to watch either. However, I will watch this MITB match on the Network.
I want anybody but Cena or Orton to win.
But, Cena or Orton will win.

Probably Orton so Bryan can officially beat him for the title.
