again, overall I like this article but the author is wrong about some things such as not mentioning Ricker being out for alot of the time with a concussion and the author also doesn't seem to realize CWFH left the NWA much earlier than the Red Carpet Rumble.

- Regarding the recent departure of WWE NXT talent Shaun "Slate Randall" Ricker, it was said by a NXT source that Ricker had by far the most potential of all the recent releases. However, Ricker's release is said to be a different situation than some of the other cuts which were due to them not being what WWE wanted or because of the talents not progressing.
It was said that Ricker had the charisma WWE wanted but there was an issue that came up with him sending an e-mail that got him buried in the company. We don't know what the details of that e-mail were but another developmental source noted that some things Ricker wrote on his Twitter was not what WWE wanted.
This is the 2nd guy from CWFH to get booted from WWE for posting something stupid on Twitter, the other being Scorpio Sky awhile back. You don't see ROH wrestlers doing stupid shit like this lol
Something about personalities from CWFH who just have trouble with personal conduct. Must be something in the water.

I still like Hero but, after seeing him live at PWG last month and on IPPV on EVOLV last weekend, it is really disappointing to see how much he has let himself go.

So has him 'letting himself go' effected his ring work at all? It's subjective perhaps, but if it hasn't, then who cares if he's put on some weight? He's been a LOT heavier in the past. That being said, Claudio's influence on his workout habits are sorely missed.

That being said, Claudio's influence on his workout habits are sorely missed. I don't really care about his weight so much as I am saying it is disappointing because his lack of workout discipline led to him being released by the WWE. I would have liked to see Hero in the WWE, so for me it is disappointing. That being said, my point was in response to the statement that unlike CWFH wrestlers ROH wresters don't do stupid things to get themselves released by using Hero as an example of an ROH wrestler who did something stupid to get himself released.

In a recent interview, Hero scoffed at his workout ethic being why he was released.
Hey, with the WWE, who knows, but he doesn't believe that is why he was cut.

In a recent interview, Hero scoffed at his workout ethic being why he was released. Hey, with the WWE, who knows, but he doesn't believe that is why he was cut. Right before he got released, it was reported that Triple H was upset at Hero over his workout routine. Hero then got released and subsequently gains alot of weight, which IMO makes it harder to discredit the report Triple H was upset at Hero's workout ethic. Even if there might have been another issue involved, failure to work out properly at NXT is not a smart thing to do.

So the recent rumor is that Ricker wasn't using social media enough. (as well as the infamous email)
That sounds about right for the WWE.
Shame to let someone go because they weren't tweeting enough...

Shaun Ricker has been announced for next month's casino show at FSW here in Las Vegas. Good to see Ricker, a former FSW Champion, making his FSW return!
