Personally, I don't have alot to say other than they more than succeeded in portraying Lesnar as an unstoppable force. Let's hope he sticks around long enough this time to deserve what was handed to him on a silver platter last night.

I think they succeeded in illustrating why squash matches are usually short. I was bored out of my mind by the time the main event was over.

It was one of the greatest moments of my wrestling fan life, along with when Brock broke the streak. It will go down as one of my all time top 5 favorite matches. It also solidifies Brock at no.3 on the GOAT list and no.1 all-time in the post-Hogan/Flair era. 1- Hogan 2- Flair 3- Brock 4- Austin 5- Taker

I was bored out of my mind by the time the main event was over. Not me. I was on the edge of my seat fearful of John Cena Superman comeback #541325861239856120956215906 until the ref's hand hit the mat a 3rd time. Match of the year for story-telling alone. Props to Cena for taking the worst beating of his career. One day we'll hear breaking news about how Cena has to get another neck fusion, and how his career might be over because of the bumps he took this match. There were a couple times he kissed his own solar plexus taking those German suplex's.

There were a couple times he kissed his own solar plexus taking those German suplex's. Mad props to Cena for allowing himself to be absolutely decimated. And yes, an absolute turning point match in WWE history. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly a Cena fan & yes, another comeback would have seemed even more ridiculous than they usually do. I just hope they know what they're doing in giving Brock the keys to the kingdom. Again. At the risk of pissing anyone off, I am not a fan of Lesnar. In my opinion, he doesn't respect either the wrestling or MMA business enough. Cena may be portrayed as "Superman", but if nothing else, he is loyal & bleeds WWE. But I'll be damned if Lesnar doesn't spark a reaction (I am typing this, after all)and put asses in the seats, which is what it really boils down to, right? Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I will say this, if Roman Reigns is in fact the chosen one to slay the beast, they'd better start working NOW. I'm a fan, but he showed me nothing last night. I fear he is dangerously close to becoming, yikes, Goldberg!

Loved watching the destruction last night, which built Brock into the ultimate unstoppable force.
I have to agree that watching Roman Reigns fall flat last night should cause concern for WWE if that's who they hope will eventually beat Lesnar. All of his big PPV matches have been multiman matches, so seeing him try to carry a long singles match was tough to watch.
That Rollins-Ambrose match was fantastic. Best Lumberjack match ever!
Steph really impressed last night too. Overall really solid show. Lots of great PPVs so far this year.

I love that you have a different opinion than mine, it makes the discussion so much more interesting I personally feel that whoever laid out the Main Event deserves major props - the story that was told was amazing: Lesnar scores the big bomb early (F5) that Cena never really recovers from, ragdolls him around the ring while forcing the ref to ask Cena if he quits throughout the match, quickly fighting off and openly mocking every hope spot...all against the well established momentum killer Not me. I was on the edge of my seat fearful of John Cena Superman comeback #541325861239856120956215906 until the ref's hand hit the mat a 3rd time. , the 15-time champion, the man who never gives up... This match not only established Lesnar as Jesus Christ on a Crutch; it MAKES whoever beats him, whenever they beat him. Kudos all around.

In my opinion, he doesn't respect either the wrestling or MMA business enough. See, this is why Brock Lesnar is my favorite guy ever. You'll never see him need the business, or wrestle at indy shows late into his years. So many "legends" have tarnished their legacies by doing this. Lesnar does whatever he wants for as long as he wants, dominates while doing it, then goes back home to his place in the woods and lives his life with his family. He doesn't get into "twitter wars" with other wrestlers and he sure as hell doesn't get bothered by what the internet says about him (Batista). You'll never see him beg to get on RAW (Piper), you'll never see him grovel at the feet of Vince (Mick Foley) or need to make a quick buck embarrassing himself on the WWE Network (Legends House cast). You'll never see him bitch and moan about how he was treated (Bret Hart). He's the 1 because he's the 1%er. He's not a slave to any job, or anyone. He's an athlete, he's a business man, and he puts himself no.1 He doesn't need anyone. He doesn't get attached to anything that isn't his. That is fing awesome.

I wanted to see Cena lose as much as anyone. That being said, liking the result doesn't make a match good. It was boring. The last Super Bowl was probably great for Seattle fans but everyone else lost interest by half-time. Lesnar giving Cena German suplexes for 15 minutes is not good wrestling. As far as telling a good story? Personally, I think it would have been better if Brock dropped Cena quickly. Super-Cena gets dusted without a fight. So they make Brock this monster and now whoever beats him will be uber-over. But that's the problem with indestructible monsters. Beating them, and making it believable, usually falls short. I'll go so far as to say that the Rusev/Swagger match was better put together than the main event. And Lesnar needs to cut back on the Niacin. He looked like he was going to explode. Where was all of that sweat coming from?! It was kinda gross.
Jericho/Wyatt was okay but like this feud, seemed kinda pointless. Stephanie's "still got it." Too bad for the predictable, cliche ending. The Lumberjack match was pretty good but they overdid the dives bowling over all of the lumberjacks. Once would have been fine. Reigns/Orton was blah as to be expected. Orton is just played out. The rest? Didn't really pay attention. And I tuned in late.

They're really going to have to work hard to build anyone up to be a credible threat to Lesnar after last night.
