Anybody else take Cena's comment about Taker disappearing after Mania to mean more than it might have? Nothing like a good debate, so I'm throwing this out into the Filsinger universe: the bet here is Cena vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31 in Undertaker's farewell match. I know, I know...what about Sting? He'll be facing HHH at the same event. And Lesnar passes the torch to Reigns, same night. Even if I'm dead wrong lately it's been more fun to talk about what "might" happen in WWE than what actually is happening!

yeah i thought that was kind of strange talking about UT getting beat and being gone ever since and then saying he got beat and was back a week later. I took it as him building himself up as better than the Undertaker by coming back soon, but i don't see Cena vs. Undertaker happening at all.

My theory is Undertaker has not wrestled his final match. Unless he knows something we don't, I think it's safe to assume he would end his career with at least as much fanfare as Flair or Michaels was given. He can't put the streak on the line anymore and seeing how he most likely will only compete at Wrestlemania, what's left but to put his career on the line? And assuming it's all but a given that Reigns is the heir to the throne, Taker can't face Lesnar at Mania. So who's left that the fans can buy into defeating the Undertaker? Love him or hate him, we all know Cena is the only logical choice. Not saying I necessarily want to see that happen, mind you, but I for one would be pretty pissed if anyone on the current roster but Cena was the guy who retired the Undertaker. Then again. WWE has insulted my intelligence once or twice (ha ha) in the past...

I hope something comes of it as it was a dumb cheap shot at THE icon of WWE. If there is no angle to it I would imagine there is heat on someone for it. We all now that John Cena is "Super Cena" so there was no reason to have to make him look stronger than The Undertaker. An Undertaker-Cena match would be cool for WM 31 so hopefully this was just planting the seeds for it. Otherwise there was no need to say what he said.
