Yikes! A low roll takes down Dutch... Hawk vs. Animal would be a treat!

Loving the tournament so far even with the DQ results. I was hoping to see Dutch Savage advance but Road Warrior Hawk is a machine. I was half expecting Hawk to no sell the running piledriver but it looks like Dutch wasn't able to hit his finisher. It would be cool to see Hawk vs. Animal in the next round but Bobo Brazil will have something to say about that.

Wow! Hawk just blew by Dutch. The next will be a good match. Be nice to see Animal vs Hawk in the next round. Who would Paul Ellering be coming out with? Would he favor one over the other?

Thank you for the feedback everyone. Pariah and Nick_Nuke Hawk v. Animal would be fun. cruefan68 the image of Hawk no selling the running piledriver would have been awesome. Flashback to Hawk getting up from Lawlerβs piledriver. Classic moment for sure. Bobo Brazil (13) v. Road Warrior Animal (52) w/Paul Ellering Brazil is easily one of the most popular competitors in the history of wrestling and he spends several minutes greeting his fans on his way to the ring. Animal looks to spoil the party with a flying shoulder ram that sets up a POWERSLAM for a 1 count (R8/P1). The action continues and spills to the floor. Both men ignore the referee and carry on with the fight and the official has no choice but to call for a double disqualification. For the second time this round there is a double elimination and Brazil, the first winner of this event, makes an early exit. Next up . . . Bryan Danielson (12) v. Al Costello (53) w/Red Berry

Woah! And the year of the DQ just keeps on keepin' on... Too bad 'cuz that looked like it was going to shape up into quite the match until it spilled out to the floor...
Going with Danielson in the next round... My hope and my prediction... Fantastic work!

WOW! Another double DQ. I was pulling for my other hometown "kayfabe" guy: Animal. Really surprised to see Bobo get a DQ. Next match I'm pulling for Danielson. Great tournament so far.

I was shocked to see another DDQ. The referee's need to have some more leniency in this important event. The next match should be outstanding - Danielson vs. Costello could be a dream match if both wrestled in the same era. I am going to go out on a limb and choose Costello to advance. Looking forward to the match.

Thank you for the feedback everyone.
Bryan Danielson (12) v. Al Costello (53) w/Red Berry
Both men know their mat wrestling so the fans settled in for what promised to be a long match but things ended incredibly quick. Danielson became trapped in the ropes and Berry decided to get a choke in but the referee caught him and called for the disqualification. The American Dragon moves on to face the winner of the next match.
Next up . . .. Antonino Rocca (21) v. Dan Severn (44)

WOW! DQ Mania continues...
Either Rocca or Severn would make an interesting opponent for Danielson... Too close to call...
