There is the Friday Night Wrestling show from AIW. Their 2nd Annual Battle of the Sexes between some of the best male and female wrestlers all in intergender matches. Should be a wild night.

The flyer from AIW says Battle of the Sexes 2 is on Saturday But it says the 14th which I just noticed is Friday.

If I go to Galacticon, I plan to get there a couple of days early and spend at least one of those days at Cedar Point. I just got done reading about the new roller coaster that opened up at Cedar Point this year: Roller coaster fans won’t want to miss the latest thriller at Cedar Point on Lake Erie, 60 miles west of Cleveland. The second oldest park in America with a history dating back to 1870, Cedar Point is a favorite of roller coaster enthusiasts. The floorless Rougarou, named after a werewolf-like creature from French folklore, is a revamp of The Mantis, a stand-up coaster. It features a 360-degree flat spin, a 145-foot first hill and four inversions, and your legs dangle over the track as it speeds up to 60 mph. Leave the little ones with Grandma and Grandpa for this one, as you must be at least 54 inches tall to ride.

Well after 25 years it looks like my streak will be coming to an end. I was laid off from my job and I have been working temp job to temp job and saving every penny because my daughter starts university and that will run our family around 10 grand. My wife and I talked it out and it just doesn't look good. Anybody who knows me knows just how upset this actually makes me. This game has been part of my life for around 28 years including pre con years. If something changes I will let you know, but for now this chapter will be closed.
See you all at a later date.

My chances of going to Galacticon greatly went up on Friday when I officially got a position teaching 8th grade World Geography for 6 weeks of Summer school. So I should have enough money now to buy a new truck, pay off some debt, and attend both Galacticon and BOLA (just 2 weeks later) in August.
But I don't get my first Summer school check until the end of July and my activities bonus check this year I won't receive until June 25th- so I am waiting until after I get back from PWG at the end of this month to get my flight to Cleveland.
