Sinclair Promotions, while moving ahead with a brand new venture with the National Wrestling Alliance, which can be found here, is still continuing it's association with Shimmer Women Athletes. Sinclair Promotions & Shimmer Women Athletes will resume events with Shimmer Volume's 52 & 53 scheduled for April 11th & April 12th, 2015 and will take place at the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois. The Matches for Shimmer Volume 52 will be announced over the next few days

Shimmer Women Athletes signs monthly deal
with the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois
Shimmer Women Athletes will from this point forward will be holding a minimum of twelve events a year as they have inked a new deal with the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois that will see Shimmer holding events there once a month. To Celebrate this historic move for Shimmer. The company will be holding back to back tapings (Volumes 52 & 53) on April 11th & 12th, 2015. Unfortunately this deal didn't come into place in time for Shimmer to hold a card at the Eagles Club in the month of March.

The Main Event for both shows have been announced as LuFisto will defend the Shimmer Championship against Cheerleader Melissa on April 12th, 2015 which will be the Volume 53 Main Event.

Volume 52 will see the reigning Shimmer Tag Team Champions the Kimber Bomb's defend the belts against the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew

SHIMMER & THE NWA TEAMING UP FOR AUSTRALIA SHOWS

Shimmer Women Athletes and the National Wrestling will be teaming up for the back to back dates at the Allphones Arena in Sydney Australia on June 20th & June 21st, 2015. These events will hold Sixteen Matches per show with both promotions presenting eight matches per show. Both events will see the Shimmer Championship, Shimmer Tag Team Championship defended. And the NWA will have both the Worlds Heavyweight Championship & Worlds Tag Team Championships defended on both shows.

Tickets for these shows go on sale immediately following this announcement.

Heidi Lovelace defeated Laura Phoenix with the Dark Menace via pinfall at the 18:51 mark of the match. This match saw Lovelace dominate the majority of the match and nearly had the match won with the Frog Splash, but the Dark Menace jumped onto the ring apron distracting both the referee and Heidi Lovelace. Following that Laura Phoenix made the comeback when the referee got blasted by a diving Laura Phoenix, with the referee out cold Phoenix hit a pair of Ad Cinerem, but was unable to get the win with the referee unconscious. As the referee started to come to Lovelace made the comeback, earning a near fall with a brutal Shining Wizard before finally putting Phoenix away with the The Heido-Ho


Canadian Ninja's (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) defeated Regeneration X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates) via submission when Portia Perez locked Allison Danger in the Just Facelock at the 14:16 mark of the match. Regeneration X dominated most of this match as Bates & Danger made quick tags to isolate Portia Perez in the ring, once Perez managed to tag in Nicole Matthews the Canadian Ninja's took the momentum in this match and didn't look back. Matthews then got a pair of quick pinfall's on Danger before she tagged Perez back into the match and locked on the Just Facelock while Matthews stopped Leva Bates from making the save.


Evie defeated Thunderkitty via pinfall when she put Thunderkitty down with a third TTYL at the 9:38 mark of the match. Evie used her speed to keep Thunderkitty off balance for the majority of this match wearing Thunderkitty down with a pair of Scorpion Deathlocks in addition to the three TTYL's it took for Evie to earn the victory in this match.


"Sweet" Saraya Knight defeated Daizee Haze via submission when she locked Haze in the Bridled Rocking Horse at the 6:17 mark of the match. Haze tried valiantly to keep Saraya Knight off balance, but she was unable to keep the momentum as Knight countered most of Haze's offense and comeback attempts before first locking on the Knightmare and then transitioning into the Bridled Rocking Horse for the victory.


"Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay defeated Courtney Rush via submission when Rush shockingly submitted when caught in the 7 Minutes in Heaven by McKay at the 6:42 mark of the match. Rush dominated the early stages of this match connecting with back to back Olympic Slam's before McKay made the comeback by nailing a charging Courtney Rush with a brutal boot to the head while in the corner. McKay then locked on the 7 Minutes in Heaven and Rush shockingly tapped out.


Mia Yim defeated Sara Del Rey via disqualification when Sara Del Rey blasted Yim with a brutal steel chair shot while the two women were brawling on the arena floor at the 5:26 mark of this contest. Del Rey absolutely dominated Yim in this match nailing Yim with two Royal Butterfly's before this match spilled to the arena floor and Del Rey let her emotions get the better of her and found herself getting disqualified for using the steel chair.


Veda Scott defeated "Wrestling Goddess" Athena via pinfall when she put Athena down with a bulldog at the 13:18 mark of the match. Scott dominated the majority of this match as she slowly wore down Athena on route to earning the victory. Athena showed great resiliency in this one kicking out of the Q.E.D. and a Mind Trip before being put away with the bulldog.


"Punisher" Madison Eagles dominated Jessicka Havok on route to putting Havok away with a third Hell Bound at the 4:35 mark of the match. Eagles started this match out by taking Havok to the mat with a choke with boot before connecting with the first Hell Bound for a near fall in the opening few seconds from this match. Eagles then kept the momentum by nailing several running big boots before hitting the second Hell Bound. The match then briefly spilled to the arena floor when Eagles ran Havok into the steel ring post before tossing Havok back into the ring and connecting with the third Hell Bound for the victory.


"Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez made extremely short work of Saturyne putting the masked Luchador away with the Fisherman Buster at the 0:45 mark of the match. Martinez blocked jumping forearm before knocking the wind out of Saturyne with some brutal chops for a near fall before putting Saturyne away with the Fisherman Buster. Following the match Martinez hit three more Fisherman Buster's before Veda Scott ran out and chased Martinez away with a steel chair. Martinez was heard yelling at Scott that Scott was now on her hit list as Martinez made her way to the locker room.




Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (Lacey & Rain) made short work of Kimber Bomb's (Kimber Lee & Cherry Bomb) (c) when Lacey caught Kimber Lee with the Implant Buster at the 5:30 mark of the match. With the victory the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew become the NEW SHIMMER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew dominated Kimber Lee for the entire match as they used quick tags to keep Kimber Lee in their corner. The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew also kept the match primarily on the floor where they double teamed Kimber Lee several times behind the referee's back as Cherry Bomb tried desperately to get into this match. As Lacey hit the Implant Buster on Kimber Lee for the victory Rain caught Cherry Bomb with the Acid Rain as she tried to get into the ring to break the count. Following the match Cherry Bomb and Kimber Lee argued all the way to the locker room as the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew celebrated their victory.

S'N'S' Express (Sassy Stephie & Neveah) defeated Team Blondage (Amber O'Neal & Krissy Vaine) via pinfall when Sassy Stephie caught Krissy Vaine with a third Kiss My Sass at the 23:15 mark of the match. This back and forth tag team contest saw momentum swing back and forth for the entire duration as well as numerous near falls as both teams looked to earn the victory in this match. In the end it was back to back Kiss My Sass' that lead the S'N'S Express to the victory in this match. Amber O'Neal made the save following the first one, but Nevaeh prevented her from making the save following the second one.


Evie defeated Heidi Lovelace via pinfall after connecting with a second TTYL at the 13:45 mark of the match. Heidi Lovelace came out strong in this match as she dominated the majority of the match, but she couldn't find away to keep Evie down long enough to set up for the Frog Splash, which gave Evie the opening she needed to make the late comeback and hit the first TTYL for a near fall before dominating the last could of minutes before finally putting Heidi Lovelace away with the second TTYL.


Courtney Rush defeated Sara Del Rey when she shocked Del Rey with a sunset flip for the three count at the 15:23 mark of the match. Del Rey dominated this entire match almost from the get go, when she stopped Rush from coming off the top rope by catching Rush in a Cross Arm Breaker that Rush almost tapped out from. From that point Del Rey tossed Rush around the ring and ringside area, but Del Rey couldn't find a way to keep her former Tag Team partner down in this match. When Rush came off the ropes and caught Del Rey with the sunset flip the ref had counted three before Del Rey could recover.


Laura Phoenix w/ the Dark Menace defeated Thunderkitty via pinfall when she connected with back to back Ad Cinerem's at the 9:44 mark of the match. Thunderkitty dominated the early stages of this match, but she couldn't keep Laura Phoenix down. Once Laura made the comeback she controlled the majority of the match from that point on, keeping Thunderkitty off balance with numerous koppo kick's and power slams on route to picking up the victory in this match.


3G (Kellie Skater & Tomoka Nakagawa) defeated MSEERIE (Christina Von Eerie & MsChif) via disqualification when MSEERIE were disqualified during an all out brawl on the arena floor between these two teams at the 8:12 mark of the match. MSEERIE controlled most of this match but they couldn't keep 3G from trying to make numerous comebacks. While all four women were brawling on the arena floor Christina Von Eerie lost her temper and blasted Tomoka Nakagawa with a brutal steel chair shot. Once order was restored Christina Von Eerie and MsChif argued all the way to back while Kellie Skater helped a dazed Nakagawa to the back.


"Latina Sensation" Mercedes Martinez defeated Veda Scott via disqualification when Scott was shockingly disqualified at the 2:25 mark of the match when Scott was disqualified for dropping Martinez neck first across the steel barricade surrounding the ring while the two were brawling on the outside of the ring. Scott was in firm control of this match blocking running kick by Martinez to open this match. Scott then hit several big moves before this match rolled to the floor and Scott found herself receiving the disqualification in this match. Following the outcome the fans started chanting for a rematch between these two.


Jessicka Havok defeated Daizee Haze via pinfall when she caught Haze with the Havokiller at the 3:31 mark of the match. Haze started this match strong quickly taking the larger Havok to the mat with a bridging German suplex before connecting with back to back Mind Trip's. Haze then came off the top rope with a brutal clothesline Haze followed that up with a brutal Daizee Cutter that saw Havok roll to the arena floor. Havok then blasted Haze with a brutal right hand before climbing back into the ring and putting Haze away with the Havokiller.


"Punisher" Madison Eagles defeated "Sweet" Saraya Knight via pinfall when she connected with the Hell Bound at the 9:14 mark of the match. This fast paced match saw both women pull out all the stops as both earned numerous near falls before Eagles finally managed to connect with the Hell Bound on Saraya Knight for the victrory.


"Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" Jessie McKay defeated Mia Yim via pinfall when McKay caught Yim with a Northern Lights Bomb at the 11:28 mark of the match. This back and forth contest saw numerous momentum swings as both women hit all of their big moves on route to Jessie McKay earning the victory with the Northern Lights Bomb.




"Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa defeated "Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto (c) via pinfall after she knocked LuFisto out cold with a brutal curb stomp at the 39:23 mark of the match to become the NEW SHIMMER CHAMPION!!! The action in this match saw both women hit numerous finishers only to have their opponent either kick out or reach the ropes. At one point in the match Cheerleader Melissa hit an Air Raid Crash for a near fall, then a Kudoh Driver and then another Air Raid Crash before LuFisto managed to roll to the floor and make the comeback. Later in the match LuFisto caught Melissa coming off the ropes with a brutal Burning Hammer for a near fall. After that the match went back and forth before Melissa hit LuFisto with the curb stomp that knocked out LuFisto and ended LuFisto's sixth reign as the Shimmer Champion

Shimmer Women Athletes is proud to announce the dates and venues for the remaining shows scheduled for 2015. While Shimmer does have a monthly deal with the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois this won't prevent the promotion form going on the occasional "tour" with the National Wrestling Alliance. AMBER GERTNER: Amber Gertner here with all your Shimmer Women Athletes News and Notes. I am here live at the Shimmer Headquarters in Chicago Illinois and this program will address some of the many rumors and news that surround the World of Shimmer.

First off after our last round of taping's we saw two new Shimmer Champions crowned as "Future Legend" Cheerleader Melissa ended the sixth reign of the "Super Hardcore Anime" LuFisto. In the tag team ranks the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew of Lacey and Rain ended the first reign of the Kimber Bomb's. Following her loss LuFisto had the Following to say:

LUFISTO: For some reason I just can't seem to hold onto the Shimmer Championship once I manage to get my hands on it. I am taking a long hard look at myself so I can better prepare for a long and dominating reign as the Shimmer Champion. So for now I am going to refocus my efforts on working my way back into title contention. I am formally forgoing my automatic rematch clause and instead I am going to fight my way back to the top to prove to the fans and myself that I am ready to defend the Shimmer Championship and dominate as Champion for a long, long time.

GERTNER: Impressive words from LuFisto, and honestly who can blame her after dropping the Championship for a sixth time. I for one am a huge fan of LuFisto and I hope this journey brings her the results she is hoping for. Speaking of the Shimmer Champion the new Champion, Cheerleader Melissa, who is on her third reign as champion had this to say:

CHEERLEADER MELISSA: LuFisto you put up a hell of a fight in our last match, sadly for you you just couldn't hold onto the belt that currently rests on my shoulder. I am going to do something that you have failed to do time after time, and that is DEFEND this championship. There isn't a woman on the roster who can lace up my boots and it is going to be a long time before anyone takes this belt from me. With Shimmer now going monthly I am going to become the face of this company by meeting and beating any challenger in the main event of each and every show. So LuFisto good luck as you start your journey into obscurity. If you do manage to become relevant once again just remember I will be here with the Shimmer Championship around my waist waiting for you.

GERTNER: Melissa sure sounds confident, but I think she may be overlooking her first challenger, Evie, who has has been a roll since Shimmer held their April Tapings. Defeating both Thunderkitty and Heidi Lovelace. Following those impressive victories Evie has been awarded the first shot against Cheerleader Melissa at the May 23rd Taping. Speaking of that taping the Kimber Bomb's are wasting no time in enacting their rematch clause. Cherry Bomb had this to say:

CHERRY BOMB: At Shimmer Volume 52 the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew shocked Kimber Lee and I and walked away with OUR Shimmer Tag Team Championship belts. On May 23rd my Bestie and I will regain the Shimmer Tag Team Championship and retake our rightful position as the greatest Tag Team bot only in Shimmer but the entire World. So Lacey and Rain I hope you two thieves are prepared for war, cause Kimber Lee and I both know that is what it will take to regain our championships.

GERTNER: Cherry Bomb is looking for war and if I know anything at all about the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew War is exactly what they will give the Kimber Bomb's. Be sure to join Shimmer Women Athletes at the Eagles Club in Berwyn Illinois to see this match and many others.

Finally before I go. I just wanted to remind fans that Shimmer is taking part of the upcoming National Wrestling Alliance international tour. Shimmer will have their own show at the historic Tokyo Dome on Sunday June 14th before holding joint show with the NWA on Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21st at the Allphones Arena in Sydney Australia.
