We'll keep you posted with all the latest news and results and welcome your input and suggestions on future match ups and feuds. I am keeping a win/loss/DQ record for all our talent so will update that periodically also.
Sit back and enjoy the HBWA!
Thank you:

HBWA are on the hunt for another exciting tag team to join their already impressive roster.
Nikoli Volkoff & Boris Zhukov (w/Nikita Breznikov) are available to sign, but there is also talk of Kendrick and London looking to jump to the HBWA.
Dr Tom Pritchard is expected to commit to some dates also, so could join the tag division if he can find a suitable partner.
Any suggestions? Who's contracts should we be chasing right now?!

Don't follow very many mixed era Legends feds, but I really like your idea of running competing promotions with your 'better half'... Will you be posting news about her company in this thread as well? Or in a thread of its own?
As for tag teams that would make a fine addition, try getting your hands on Sabu and an appropriate partner (obviously, RVD would be a prime choice, but it looks like he'll be busy defending the big prize - How about Steve Corino, maybe?)...
Look forward to watching this fed grow... Best of luck!

I know they crowned their inaugural champion last night after an 8 man tournament. Her roster is stronger than mine, but we do share the same Tag Champs (Masked Superstar I &II) who will defend both sets of belts when we hold joint events, but separately when we run solo. There was a massive upset in her title tournament last night when Buddy Rogers was pinned by Hillbilly Jim in the first round! Rogers attacked Jim afterwards, probably resulting in what will be a very one sided feud.

HBWA PRESENTS: FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE!(RESULTS)Th show begins with Rob Van Dam addressing the audience. He knows that tonight he will face an opponent of Harley Race's choice but asks Harley; "why don't you just be man about it and pick yourself?!" Race strolls to the ring with intensity and enters; "I never back down from anybody and will fight you any time, any place...but tonight I get paid the same if I fight or if I don't, so I've chosen to take the night off and watch from the sidelines. Just make sure you're in the ring later and I'll introduce your opponent." Match 1: Terry Gordy Vs George SouthA ruthless Terry Gordy hits not one, not two but THREE piledrivers on the helpless South. South kicks out of one pin, but is unable to recover fully to make any kind of comeback. Winner: Terry GordyBackstage we see 'Leaping' Lanny Poffo reciting some lines of verse. Jim Powers looks unimpressed. Their match is next...Match 2: The Vachons Vs Powers & PoffoA HUGE upset in a match that had everything! The referee is knocked silly after Poffo scaled the turnbuckle for his finisher. Mad Dog pushes the hapless ref into Poffo's path, but the move backfires as there was no ref to count Mad Dog's pin! After spilling to the outside, all four men brawl until Mad Dog threw Powers back inside, readying him for the Mad Dog Pounce. Powers counters with a power slam to claim an unlikely victory. Bucher and Mad Dog are stunned. They'll be sure to want revenge! Winners: Powers & PoffoMatch 3: 'Exotic' Adrian Street vs The PatriotStreet promised a 'Surprise' for The Patriot, and a surprise is exactly what he got! After early exchanges see The Patriot eventually begin to dominate, a mysterious maniac storms the ring and demolishea The Patriot with a Back Flying Headbutt. Street is eventually disqualified, but doesn't seem to care. The 2 on 1 attack viciously continues until Mil Mascaras appears, who is due up next. After clearing the ring, Mascaras helps The Patriot to his feet. Street and his new ally scurry from the ring. As Street grabs the mike from Ed Whalen, he exclaims; "Darlings, my I introduce to you, my delightful 'partner', The Missing Link!Winner: The Patriot (via DQ)Match 4: Mil Mascaras Vs Greg 'The Hammer ValentineMascaras makes surprisingly short work valentine in this rather one sided affair. Mascaras wins with his signature Cross Body Attack. Winner: Mil MascarasBruiser Brody is out next. Grabbing the microphone, he dares anybody brave enough to come face him in a 'No DQ' match at GARAGELAND in two weeks. CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO appears at ringside with a response; "Brody, my man! Nobody wants to face you in two weeks time! You are unbeatable...almost. Y'see, I've found just the man to take you on at GARAGELAND, but he ain't here tonight...so you're just gonna have to wait!" With that, Albano leaves the ring area and leaves Brody frustrated. Brody wants a match right now, so the commissioners do what they have to, and send another lamb to the slaughter... Match 5: Bruiser Brody Vs Johnny Rodz Despite Rodz getting the jump on Brody fro the get go, things quickly turn pretty Brutal for the man from NYC. Brody hits his Jumping knee Drop for a comfortable, if not totally satisfying victory. Winner: Bruiser BrodyRob Van Dam is waiting in the ring to hear from Harley Race. Harley appears with a confident swagger; "Van Dam, you know I could beat you on any given night, but tonight I want to observe how you handle this man! The Iron Sheik appears and the bell rings! Match 6: Rob Van Dam (C) Vs The Iron Sheik (non title match)The Iron Sheik brutalises van Dam from the get go hitting him with a powe rslam, a pile driver and tossing him from the ring. Van Dam responds with a dazzling array of aerial moves before being hit by a foreign object stuffed into Sheik's boot. It looked like something was thrown to the Sheik by Race! Sheik locks in the Camel Clutch and refuses to break the hold. Van Dam just makes it to the ropes in time and slides out of the ring. A big boot from Race whilst Iron Sheik distracts the referee! Van Dam barely makes the count, but catches Sheik's kick and spins him around, sending him dizzy. Van Dam hits Rolling Thunder followed by the Five Star Frog Splash and it's all over. Van Dam rolls from the ring and evades the swinging Race, holding his belt aloft, he celebrates with the fans and the programme comes to an end!
Goodnight and see you all next week!

That was a solid show with some really great moments... From Adrian Street introducing his new partner following their nearsightedness on The Patriot... To Captain Lou frustrating Bruiser Brody with the news that he's found him a worthy opponent, but refusing to drop the name...
Enjoyed the win by Powers & Poffo... Those two could make quite an inspirational pair of they can continue to win... And your champion is top notch! Definitely good to seat that you've got some high caliber challengers for RVD as well... Race and Iron Sheik are superb competitors...
The match summaries are very well written... Thoroughly enjoyable!

Powers and Poffo need some momentum. The Vachons have been hot so I was surprised with the result.
Race is playing games with Van Dam...that cage match is gonna be something else!
Thanks for your feedback and please keep following! I welcome any suggestions for what happens next!
