Did ANYBODY find the ending to last night's main event acceptable?
Amazing how 2+ years of dominance by Lesnar could be outdone in 2+ minutes.
And is it just me, or do the WWE writers not know the meaning of continuity? Perhaps Taker should have sought revenge on Lesnar at Mania and not 3 1/2 months later?
Heyman has been bragging about Lesnar being the "1" in 21-1 for so long before Monday, it's now 22-1! So I really hope WWE doesn't try to play it that Taker was upset by Heyman's comments LAST WEEK.
Just another reason why I'd rather watch a pre-taped ROH episode instead of this drivel...

And I spent the entire night trying to choose between Big Brother or re-watching an episode of Game of Thrones...

Actually, ROH airs on Wednesday in my neck of the woods. But now that you mention it, I did miss Ray Donovan to watch the nonsense that is WWE last night...

Can I just express how nice it is to not know or not care what you're talking about. Let go brother! It's beautiful out here in WWE ignorance.

Let me play devil's advocate...
Brock had 2 years dominance but he had a tough match against Taker, so they can say he doesn't dominate Taker and since he just had a match and was caught off guard Taker was able to catch him.
Taker didn't interfere in the Mania match because 1) He had a match earlier 2) He didn't want to interfere and cost Reigns ("face") the match, so he waited till his match with Rollins ("heel") and cost him big time.
So Taker waited his time, made she he was prepared and struck at the right time.
Honestly I wasn't overly excited about the finish but I was glad to see Taker (although his time is coming to a end). But I will let it play out before I pass judgement. As far as the rest of the PPV I thought some of the matches were really good. Orton vs Sheamus, Wyatt vs Reigns and Cena vs Owens.
The main event was ok. To have a World Champion running away from a challenger is just dumb but the issue is the way they have written Brock. They have made him way too powerful IMO. And while I like Brock, he has to look beatable otherwise what's the point. It's funny how people complained about Hogan for years and the lack of moves he had and the way he dominated but Brock is a extension of this, the same way Goldberg was, but seems like the majority are ok with it.
Thoughts?

Thoughts:
1.Nice to see Wyatt finally win a big match, albeit with help.
2.Thought that was one of the better matches I've seen Cena have, despite not liking the result.
3.My thoughts on the main event are posted above.
As for the similarity between Hogan and Lesnar, perhaps a German suplex simply generates more fear than a leg drop?
I guess we'll see where it goes, but Lesnar vs. Taker at Summerslam does nothing for me...at this point, Taker vs. anyone does nothing for me. The time has come for him to walk away...

I will play devil's advocate as well. The WWE business model is all about the Network now (as disappointing as that may be). They don't even care about RAW's TV rating as this point. RAW is simply a vehicle to get people to buy the Network.
Even after a year and a half, the Network's subscription numbers aren't as high as WWE wants them to be, so they are simply trying to put together a huge match to pop the subscription number a bit. That's why this Lesnar-Undertaker rematch is happening, and SummerSlam will be marketed as a one-match show (with a bunch of meaningless undercard matches of course).
Plus, I expect Undertaker to win and get his "revenge" with Lesnar still looking strong in a tough match. Then, at WM32, Undertaker can have his final match and Lesnar can do other things since WM32 needs to be marketed as an "ensemeble show" with many hot matches on the card.
Now, as to why they waited a year and a half to do this, I have a solution. Undertaker can simply say that the concussion he sustained at WM30 caused him to forget that entire evening, and since he's been away for most of the last year and a half, he can just say that he had no idea of what happened at WM30 and it didn't hit him until seeing Lesnar about to F-5 Rollins that he finally remembered at that instant and decided to get his revenge. LOL. Yes, I know how ridiculous it sounds but it could work, LOL.
You might be in the minority because most fans do want to see this rematch. I know I do, but I'm hoping Undertaker calls it a career at WM32. He has nothing left to prove IMO.

actually i was kind of glad to see Undertaker come back against Lesnar, and not surprised at all that the july ppv ended without a clean finish.
Unfortunately that also means SuperCena IS BACK AND IS TALKING REAL LOUD AND DEMANDING A TITLE MATCH AND FIGHTING FOR THE WWE UNIVERSE ALL THE WHILE THEY'RE CHANTING THAT HE SUCKS

I agree Lucifer, the WWE screwed this up and somehow made the WWE title LESS important than the US title in the process.
Brock destroys Cena for the WWE title, then rarely appears except to beat Cena in several rematches. Invincible Brock loses the title to a sneaky Rollins (so much for invincible). Rollins comes off as a coward, and not a good coward heel. Brock gets his rematch, does not beat Rollins, and not due to what Rollins did. NO NO, because Brock got taken out by an AARP member. The 1 in 21-1 can beat the WWE roster, but cannot beat someone eligible to order of the seniors menu.
MEANWHILE....Cena is putting on stellar matches, and putting over several young bucks.
And I don't think much of the Cena Sucks chants. I think it filled with people that want to fit in, much like the folks who use the lights on their cell phones when Bray comes out--I am not sure they are Bray fans, they just want to be "cool".
