Haha! What's more dramatic? A masked assailant? A hooded stranger? Or an ominous shadow filling the doorway? Snap!
There may have been some disappointing matchups on the card, but let's not forget the showstoppers... Hoyt and Moxley delivered a brutal fiasco... Cole and 'Dirty' Andy were definitely solid... And Elgin's victory over Galloway was superb... Although it only lasted 90 seconds, there was something electric about Gargano's dominating performance against Moose...
Also enjoyed watching Macho Man trying to invade the Asylum... After all, isn't this where the MADNESS truly belongs?
The direction of this fed is truly entertaining... Loving the vibe... Amazing work!

Midnight Run 1.09 – From the Asylum
Matt Striker is in the ring with five of the masked Bounty Hunter’s. “Last week a certain someone broke into the Asylum, evaded security and attacked one of the Outlaws.” Striker said. “This week he has been invited, so Randy Savage…come on down.” Savage comes to the ring and enters the six-sided ring. Striker orders the Bounty Hunters to stand back. “Randy, you have been trying to attack on of our stars since he beat you in an audition match, and for a star of you caliber I can understand the frustration, but you lost, the truth is simple. Now we could have you arrested for trespassing and assault but my employer has an offer for you. A once in a lifetime chance as it were. In the main event tonight you face Andy Dalton and of you win you’ll take over his spot, meaning you’ll get his win-loss record. Andy Dalton has already agree to this, all you have to do is agree as well and we can get this settled.” Savage was agreeing to the delight of the fans when Striker warned him, “But it will be an Outlaw Star Match. The two of you will compete as if you were fighting for the Outlaw Star championship.” Striker explained the rules quickly “It is a last man standing but here’s the twist. Every time one of you is tossed out of the ring or leave the ring a Bounty Hunter enters the match and the referee won’t begin a count until the Hunter is eliminated either by tossing him out or pinning him for a three count.” The Asylum fans were going wild. Savage nodded and Striker said that the main event would be after the tag team matches.

Matt Striker came to the ring to announce the main event and remind every of the rules. “This is a Outlaw Star Match and while no stars are on the line it is for position in the company.” The fans in the Asylum watched as Bounty Hunters entered the caged off area to wait until they were needed. Matt Striker took up a seat below the champion balcony.

A low blow and he hit the PILEDRIVER but Savage was up at the count of six. Savage hit his own piledriver and Dalton on instinct rolled out of the ring and the buzzer sounded and the first Hunter was released and entered the ring but Savage with a neckbreaker clothesline tossed the Hunter back out of the ring and a flying axe handle on Dalton as he returned to the ring. Dalton with a reversal into the buckles then hit the PILEDRIVER and Savage stunned made it to his feet at nine. Savage with the vaulting neck snap and the buzzer sounded as Savage landed on the floor but returned to the ring and then the FLYING ELBOW DROP but Savage didn’t see the Hunter enter the ring and was blindsided. The Hunter with a belly to belly suplex then went to the corner and fans watched as he hit Savage with a very familiar spear. Dalton got to his feet but the Hunter with a powerbomb had both men down on the mat. The Hunter tossed Dalton out of the ring and the buzzer sounded releasing a new Hunter and the new one worked Dalton over with a series of kicks while in the ring the other Hunter had Savage in a bear hug. The beating continued until Savage tossed the Hunter out of the ring and Dalton with help from Layne and a low blow tossed the other Hunter leaving Savage and Dalton in the ring. Savage again tossed Dalton with out thinking and a new Hunter entered the ring and drilled Savage with a Big Boot then another one to Dalton. The Hunter sent Dalton out of the ring and into the ring steps. A new Hunter entered the ring but Savage pounced on him and tossed him out right away but the first Hunter returned and leveled Savage with the Big Boot again then a running sit out powerbomb. The Hunter sent Savage into the buckles and hit a discus clothesline. Dalton got anther Big Boot then a half nelson superplex before the Hunter with another running sit out powerbomb. The assault continued as the Hunter picked apart the two men before they teamed up and tossed him out of the ring at this point both men were on fumes from nearly five minutes of being abused but Savage with a flying axe handle and fans counted with the referee as Dalton tried to get up and was using the ropes until Layne reached thru the ropes and raked his eyes and the referee counted ten. (31:49) Winner: Macho Man Randy Savage via last man standing Fatigue: Savage: 8 – Dalton: 9
Andy Dalton lost his spot in Outlaw and Randy Savage took over his win-loss record and place in the tournament. The Asylum cheered as “Pomp & Circumstance” played. Matt Striker and the Hunters left two of the Hunters carrying Dalton between them as in the ring Angelus Layne showed her alliance with Savage.
Backstage Dark Menace was talking to someone. “You see that? They’ll let anyone in! But if you trust me, I can make sure things like that don’t happen.” The figure out of sight of the camera closed the door.

The Outlaw Star Match is a truly interesting concept and I'm looking forward to more of those... The company has an impressive list of Bounty Hunters in their employ, who know how to do their job... Some of them seemed quite familiar too
Dalton vs Savage was brutal, which is just what we wanted to see... Not sure if Angelus actually cost Dalton the match, but it certainly didn't hurt Savage's cause... It will be awesome to see the Macho Man mixing it up in future weeks...
Not sure if anyone can stop the Briscoes... This looks like their world... And everyone else is just living in it (credit Mr Mundo)...
And the drama surrounding the Menace continues to unfold... Very much enjoying the ride!

The Outlaw Star match was inspired by the old Saturday morning WMAC Masters. still tweaking it. Ah the Bounty Hunters....some are well known some are just random losers made to fill slots. can't wait to try it out when there's a title on the line. we're coming up to the halfway point. Savage starts at a disadvantage but still in a spot to come back from. as for Menace...he's networking and making plans. glad you liked it should have another show Friday or Saturday and we'll see how the Macho Man does in his first official Outlaw match. stay tuned my friend and thanks for enjoying my madness

I'm really enjoying your fed and that Outlaw Star Match is really cool, plus seeing Savage win is golden. I liked the win for Nation & Davis, I once had them together as DomiNation in my EVOLVE Wrestling...

Midnight Run 1.10 – From the Asylum
A replay from last week of Randy Savage beating Andy Dalton and taking his place in Outlaw. Savage enters the tournament with Dalton’s win-loss record of 1 win and 4 losses with his first opponent was Moose.
In a pre-recorded interview Angelus Layne told everyone why she had betrayed Dalton “He promised success and he was losing. Then there was Randy Savage a legend. I saw my chance and went with a real man instead of a boy playing to get daddy’s approval.”
Moose w/Stokley Hathaway vs. Macho Man Randy Savage w/Angelus Layne -Savage was strong until Layne got wiped out by Moose hitting her off the apron with the SPEAR. Savage put up a fight but Moose with tackle and lariats connected with the SPEAR and got the three count. (19:34) Winner: Moose via pin fall Fatigue: Moose: 5 – Savage: 5
The Asylum was rowdy as officials loaded Angelus Layne onto a stretcher. Hathaway and Moose watched as Savage left following his valet from the arena. He didn’t see Andy Dalton blindside him and after a chair shot Dirty Dalton pulled out a dog collar choke chain and used it to choke Savage. Masked Hunters pounced on him and dragged him off Savage. “Not so easy is it bitch!” Dalton was heard as he was dragged away.
Jon Moxley vs. Jay Lethal w/Truth Martini -This was a war and Moxley took out Martini when he tried to get involved and hit the Cutter wiping out the Truth. Moxley couldn’t put Lethal down long enough for a pin and after a wild brawl on the floor they returned to the ring and a LETHAL INJECTION got the three count. (25:19) Winner: Jay Lethal via pin fall Fatigue: Moxley: 5 – Lethal: 0
Drew Galloway w/Nigel McGuinness vs. Roderick Strong -A flurry of counters ended with Drew hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker then the DOUBLE ARM DDT and getting the three count. (00:59) Winner: Drew Galloway via pin fall Fatigue: N/A
Kevin Steen vs. Chuck Taylor -Taylor took a lot of punishment and even kicked out of the F-CINQ but couldn’t put Steen down and Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare hit the PACKAGE PILEDRIVER getting the three count. (09:01) Winner: Kevin Steen via pin fall Fatigue: Taylor: 3 – Steen: 0
El Generico vs. Lance Hoyt -Generico was fired up and went after Hoyt and after a Yakuza Kick Hoyt barely kicked out before the three. Hoyt with a Texas Tower Bomb and after a bit of abuse hit the DARK DAYS and got the three count. (01:53) Winner: Lance Hoyt via pin fall Fatigue: Hoyt: 1 – Generico: 1
Tyler Black vs. “Darewolf” PJ Black -Darewolf hit several high flying moves but Tyler absorbed it and got a near fall with the Rubix Cube, escaped a Fujiwara armbar and hit the PHOENIX SPLASH to get a three count. (11:42) Winner: Tyler Black via pin fall Fatigue: T. Black: 3 – PJ Black: 4
Johnny Gargano vs. Adam Cole -Cole tried for a quick win and hit the FLORIDA KEY but Gargano kicked out and they fought back and forth but Cole was unable to survive a third GARGANO ESCAPE and tapped out. (12:26) Winner: Johnny Gargano via submission Fatigue: Cole: 4 – Gargano: 2
MAIN EVENT Cedric Alexander w/Veda Scott vs. Michael Elgin -Cedric was not going down without a fight and thanks to Veda escaped the ELGIN BOMB. Elgin kicked out after a LUMBAR CHECK and was again building a domination when Cedric with the WRENCH SHOT. Veda was on the apron celebrating and not seeing Elgin kick out and hit a AVALANCHE ELGIN BOMB getting a three count to Veda’s shock. (14:04) Winner: Michael Elgin via pin fall Fatigue: Elgin: 4 – Alexander: 3
Backstage Matt Striker pumped his fist as he watched the replay. He looked at his assistant. “It seems Mr. Elgin is living up to his name.” He frowned looking at the brackets. “Where Elgin has won every match El Generico has yet to win one.” Dark Menace entered the office. “Have you spoken with your boss?” the slick manager asked. “He says the services of the DMF is not required but you are allowed to remain as long as you aren’t involved in any conflicts and don’t make a menace of yourself, pun intended.” “You’re making a mistake. My DMF would be better than these Bounty Hunters.” Striker shook his head, “The Hunters do the jobs they are hired for and assigned. Your DMF would be answering to too many bosses, meaning you, me, and the owner.” “And who do the bounty hunters answer to then?” Dark Menace sneered. “The Owner and with his command they follow mine.” Striker was done and looked as his assistant approached. Striker’s assistant hands him a phone “Sir, there was an incident.” He reported and walked away ignoring Dark Menace and any further attempts at conversation.

The action continues at a fast and furious pace... Any chance you could update us with the current Outlaw standings?
Thoroughly enjoyed Macho Man's first outing... What a brutal matchup against Moose... However, it looks like 'Dirty' Andy is refusing to stay out of the mix...
Interesting business proposal by The Dark Menace... Something tells me that he'll soon start making his own opportunities...
Your stuff continues to entertain with a very original flair, my friend... Awesome work!
