Hosts Bill Apter and Red Bastien welcome fans to the first edition of IWLF Championship Wrestling.
Fans are told that Buddy Rogers is recognized as the World Heavyweight Champion and no doubt many stars will be coming to the area from all around the world to try and take that belt from him.
Today's show features Pepper Gomez, Greg Valentine, the sensational Mil Mascaras and a feature match that pits S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones taking on "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe.
Let's go to the ring!

After the match, Red Bastien interviews Valentine and the Wizard. The Wizard says Greg Valentine will run through everyone on his way straight to the top of the IWLF, warning that the local hospitals should reserve some rooms because there may be lots of broken legs along the way.
Match #3: Mil Mascaras def. "Elegant" Eddie Fyne (6:00)
Mascaras with the FLYING BODYPRESS to get the pin in this one.
After the match, the masked man is interviewed by Bill Apter and says he is here for one reason only and that's to take the IWLF championship from Buddy Rogers.
Match #4: S.D. Jones def. "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe (7:04)
S.D. uses his patented HEAD BUTT to knock Sharpe silly and score the pin. After the match, "Playboy" Buddy Rose hits the ring and along with Sharpe, they double team S.D.
But the crowd erupts as Koko B. Ware runs out to even the odds!
Koko and S.D. clear the ring, sending Sharpe and Rose heading for the locker room as the credits roll

Thanks Travis,
I rebooted after the new year and intended to play a lot more but unfortunately real life dropkicked me out of the ring pretty much as soon as I posted that first "magazine" to jumpstart things

Let's go to the ring!

After the bell, while Red Berry distracts the referee, Baker delivers the deadly HEART PUNCH causing Rocket to be taken out on a stretcher.

(WEEK 2: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV TAPING) Sharpe is able to make the tag and Buddy takes over but in the end, neither team can score a pinfall before the time limit expires and this one is ruled a draw. Welcome back to the boards Zilla! I need to post my fed in this new board. I have a question, do you use the clock or tokens for your time-limits? And how long/how many? See you later... I use a timer that I downloaded called Ant Pizza Timer that I run on my laptop while I play. Just a simple free timer app for Windows. I replaced the buzzer .wav file with a ring bell so it sounds "real" if I go to a draw. I set up three different "profiles" A 10:00 timer that I use for 10 and 20 minute time limit matches A 15:00 timer that I use for 30 minute time limit matches And a 20:00 timer that I use for one hour matches I play pretty fast since I don't use the choice charts and I figure if a match goes 20:00 minutes real time, that's enough I then take the time left on the timer when the match is over and plug that into an Excel spreadsheet that sorta gives me a match time to use for my results. It spits out a bunch of match times and I sorta pick the one that "feels" right. So if I play two minutes in real time, with a "20 minute time limit" in game time, the formula I use might spit out 8 minutes for the results. Way more info than you wanted I'm sure.

(WEEK 3: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV TAPING)
Hosts Bill Apter and Red Bastien.
On this week's show, The Islanders, Samu and Alofa are here in tag team action
Along with Billy "Red" Lyons and Dick Hutton in individual competition
And Pepper Gomez will join us in singles action and a special pre-match demonstration of his "cast iron stomach" which has to be seen to be believed.
So with all that in store, let's go to the ring!
Match #1: The Islanders (Samu and Alofa) def. The Renegade and Gil Armstone (7:14)
Alofa pins Gil Armstone after a SAMOAN DROP
Match #2: Billy "Red" Lyons def. "Elegant" Eddie Fyne (8:40)
A good back and forth match that ends when Lyons hits the atomic drop and wraps up Fyne for the pin.
SPECIAL INTERVIEW: Bill Apter interviews Pepper Gomez in the ring. Pepper demonstrates his legendary "cast iron stomach" with the help of prelim wrestler Jim Trainer who is invited to punch Gomez as hard as he possibly can in the mid-section. Trainer then does a double stomp which doesn't even faze Gomez. And for the finale, Trainer delivers a running knee drop which also has no effect on the Mexican star.
Pepper thanks Trainer and stays in the ring for a match
Match #3: Pepper Gomez def. Black Bart (5:52)
Gomez gets the pin on Black Bart following a criss cross smash
Match #4: Dick Hutton def. George South (8:15)
An excellent matchup but Hutton gets the pin following an atomic drop to close out the show.

Thanks for the info as this provides a good gauge of what other people do...I use a 10-minute primarily myself and boost the limit for title matches or multiple fall matches...I just let my count-up timer run for specialty matches like cage, lumberjack, etc. to record an official time...

(WEEK 4: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV TAPING)
Your hosts are Bill Apter and Red Bastien
This week's show features Mil Mascaras, Big Ox Baker and the IWLF debuts of "The Golden Greek" Jim Londos and The Masked Superstar.
Mil Mascaras def. Ron Antak (1:22)
Antak attacks Mascaras from behind at the bell and pounds on the masked man, quickly sending him into the ropes but Mascaras rebounds and catches Antak with a FLYING BODYPRESS to get the pin in a stunningly quick opener!
Match #2: Ox Baker (with "Wild" Red Berry) def. Mike "Meteor" Storm (8:08)
The youngster Storm uses his speed to stay ahead of the big Ox, at one point causing the big man to miss a corner splash and tumble from the ring. But this turns out to be Storm's downfall as he is distracted by Berry and sucker punched by Baker when he re-enters the ring.
Ox delivers a neckbreaker and goes for the pin but Berry tells his man to pull up the opponent at the count of two, breaking the count.
Baker asks Berry if he wants to see the HEART PUNCH but Red tells him the people don't deserve to see it.
So Baker delivers another neckbreaker and this time gets the pin.
Match #3: Jim Londos def. J,J. Smooth (7:38)
The "Golden Greek" has little trouble with the clumsy big man and eventually finishes him off with the BOSTON CRAB
Match #4: The Masked Superstar (with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) def. Prince Karah (6:20)
Apter and Bastien are surprised to see Bobby "The Brain" Heenan accompany Superstar to the ring
Superstar toys with Karah and eventually finishes him off with a bodypress.
After the match Red Bastien interviews Heenan and Superstar at ringside.
Heenan says he's here for one reason and that's to make money
And he's got the perfect guy to get that done, the Superstar, the most intelligent, dangerous wrestler out there.
So dangerous that he has to wear the mask to protect his identity in case one of his ham and egger opponents decides to press charges after the beating they receive
Heenan says the fans haven't even seen one-tenth of what Superstar can do in the ring but they'll know in a very short time as the victories accumulate
Superstar adds that there is another masked man in this area that he knows very well and advises him to stay out of Superstar's way if he knows what's good for him
Bastien says we're out of time and the credits roll
