Looks like we will be getting a brand split after all, according to what I just read. Will be interesting to see who ends up where, but I also read that Smackdown may become the landing spot for future NXT call ups, which would be pretty cool and might actually get me to watch for a change.

Yeah I can't remember the last time I watched Smackdown. They need something to make it must watch, and give more spots to guys. It is funny how year ago we were dying for the brand split to end and now are dying for it to come back.

I saw the Battleground PPV on the horizon and thought that would be the spot where we'd see Shane and Stephanie each have a team compete against each other. That PPV is the Sunday after Smackdown goes live and the brand split is official. So I'm thinking Raw on 7/18 is the draft, then we have the brand split official on the 7/19 Smackdown and have the face off on 7/24 Battleground. I fully expect the Smackdown team to beat the Raw team to put over the brand. I have to think Shane leads Smackdown with many of the faces of the new era and be the smark main roster brand. Could work out very well for the E in the end.

I'm liking it from what I understand. Too much talent there to consistently take a back seat to Cena and Reigns.

There's to be a full fledged draft and everything to go along with it. Should be fun. Certainly gives me a reason to watch Smackdown again since they're claiming it's going to be totally different from Raw. I wanna see what they mean. And I definitely want to see who from NXT gets called up during the draft, because you know there's gonna be at least one.

Another highlight could be a lot less injuries to top stars. Guys like Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins will most likely be wrestling 52 less matches a year.

I think the WWE roster pool is certainly big enough to support Raw, Smackdown, and NXT. I really hope a split would cause WWE to give due attention to the whole roster. I also hope Smackdown has its own feel and does not just use the same 30 mediocre writers it has been using for several years now. That said, I really hope it uses some creative minds from the actual wrestling business, not TV writers that do not know a wrestling ring from Lord of the Rings.

I was really glad to hear that the WWE is finally returning to a full brand split.
With the upcoming brand split, the upcoming global cruiserweight tournament, and next month's Money in the Bank at the new T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas, my interest in WWE is high going into this Summer.
I wonder how the titles situation is going to work?
