Just curious as to what everyone's opinion of the events of last night's RAW is...
Personally, I think it's a good idea (at least until Super Cena dismantles the club as easily as Super Roman did). If done "correctly" it could serve to get not only Anderson and Gallows over, but potentially thrust Balor into the main event scene as well. Then again, the Nexus beat down of Cena also looked promising...
Also somewhat on topic, read an interesting article today explaining how Bret was never really solidified as "the guy" until Hogan left, Austin became the guy after Bret left, and Cena after Austin & Rock left. If that's so, I hope Cena never retires, as the thought of a WWE that truly does revolve around Roman Reigns makes me kinda nauseous.

I'd rather not see AJ as a heel because it takes away from his matches but I guess it has to be done for this particular match. I'm hoping it turns out well because those two could easily tear the house down.
Also I get why people are mad that Roman got pushed over Bryan (I'm one of them) but the whole 'Roman is a bad wrestler' stuff needs to stop. He's perfectly capable in the ring and really has been involved with some of the better WWE matches this year. The whole 'he was carried' argument doesn't hold water either because at the end of the day, he still has to carry out the orders beind handed to him by the 'superior wrestler'. I don't want Roman as the top guy (for the record I'd prefer that Brock suplexes everyone for the rest of eternity) but him as the top guy surrounded by guys like Rollins, AJ, Sami, Owens, etc. doesn't sound like a bad future at all. We could be stuck with the WWE main event scene from 2009-2011 if you'd prefer. That shit was brutal.

How about Rollins joining the club with Styles, Anderson and Gallows?
I'm personally fine with AJ turning heel as long as WWE doesn't mess it up like they did with the Wyatt Family. The Wyatt Family could have replaced the Undertaker theme as a more up to date version on the darkside image. Just my 2 cents...
But, on a selfish stand point I would love to see an AJ vs. Rollins match when Rollins is back at a 100%.

I actually thought the main event at Extreme Rules was a great match...Reigns has gotten better in the ring. And yeah, I was LIVID with how Bryan was treated before he retired. My issue with Reigns? He has the personality of a soap dish. Granted, I get that the "Superman" punch and what not are all part of the act handed to him, but the guy cannot cut a promo to save his life. I'm no Cena fan, but the guy does great mic work. If Reigns had more of a Lesnar-like character, where he spoke hardly, if at all, I'd probably appreciate him more than I do. I agree with switch, I don't want to see AJ's style (unavoidable pun) of wrestling change as a heel. Hopefully he doesn't come off like Rollins did. A heel is one thing, a bitch is another, and trust me, I'm a Rollins fan, but he was made out to look like a bitch when he had the belt and I don't like what I saw from him on Monday night either.

After watching maybe the best gimmick in wrestling history (nWo) get watered down each time a new member was added, I'm always leery of guys being added to factions. Although, they do a good job for the most part with Bullet Club on the indies. One guy leaves, another takes his place. That makes sense. To just keep adding to a stable takes away from the "eliteness" of the group, in my opinion. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers Buff Bagwell, Stevie Ray and Louie Spicolli (RIP) in the nWo...wasn't exactly Hogan, Nash and Hall was it? Not comparing Rollins to any of those guys, but he should do just fine as the main antagonist of Reigns for a while IF they play their cards right. And Bray Wyatt should be the biggest heel in WWE right now. Could not agree more!

I'd definitely rather see Roman be more like he was in the Shield where he barely talked and he just wrecked guys. Trying to make him personality-wise into whatever the hell you want to call Vince's idea of what a top guy is just does not work. They defanged him so badly, maybe even worse than they did with Diesel.

It took Rocky his cousin awhile to get over with the crowd once he was able to figure it out, so many Roman just needs more time to figure it out. But, I agree that Roman is better as an enforcer type than on the mic at this time. The whole "I'm not a good guy or a bad guy... I'm just the guy" stick over and over again is getting old, it actually turns me off to wanting to accept him.
