Nikolai Volkoff pulled double duty and though he failed to beat Harley Race he did join the Iron Sheik in winning over an impressive field in the tag team elimination match. I also have to hand it to Tugboat & Chaz Taylor who have really been impressive in VWE. Road Warriors vs. Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka - yes, please! I am psyched for Bobo Brazil vs. Harley Race along with the Rock n' Roll Express arriving not to mention Buddy Rogers getting into the world title match at Vegasmania. I may also have to eat my words regarding Trish Stratus and I admire her bold move in entering that four-way elimination match. Great action as always Vegas, you are the master at building up to the big events.

March 13, Year 1
Match #1: Pampero Firpo defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan by DQ
- this match ended when Duggan and Firpo got into a brawl which spilled out of the ring where Duggan grabbed his 2X4 and smashed Firpo on the head to get DQd
- afterward, Gorgeous George appeared and informed Duggan and Firpo that the three of them have been selected to join Trish Stratus as the 4 opponents in the Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match at Vegasmania!
Promo: Redd Dogg and Scott Taylor make their VWE debuts next week in a match against each other!
Match #2: Bruiser Brody (accompanied by Jimmy Snuka) defeated Road Warrior Animal (accompanied by Road Warrior Hawk)
- this match was set up after what happened last week on RAW where Brody and Snuka got into a prematch altercation with the Road Warriors that led to Brody and Animal later causing the other's disqualification and elimination from the VWE Tag Team Championship #1 contender's elimination match.
- Animal put up a good fight but the greater singles proficiency of Brody carried him to victory and he won via a JUMPING KNEE SMASH.
- afterward, accompanied by Larry "The Axe" Hennig, VWE Chairman of the Board the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase arrived and announced at Vegasmania it will be Snuka and Brody vs the Road Warriors in a Las Vegas Street Fight!
- DiBiase's Office: VWE Champion Lou Thesz and Buddy Rogers are sitting in front of the desk of their fellow Vegasmania opponent DiBiase when DiBiase and Larry Hennig enter having returned from ringside. DiBiase tells Thesz and Rogers he has called them in to let them know that next week on RAW they will have to team up in a match against Larry Hennig and Hennig's tag team partner United States Champion Harley Race!
Match #3: Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig defeated the Dream Team
- this match ended when RVD pinned Brutus Beefcake via a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH
- afterward, DiBiase appeared again to say he has two more match announcements for Vegasmania: the Dream Team will be the opponents for the Rock N' Roll Express and RVD and Curt Hennig, two of DiBiase's former EAWA enemies, will be wrestling each other!

- this match ended in a DQ when the Iron Sheik (who along with Volkoff challenge Savage and DDP for the VWE Tag Team Championship at Vegasmania) dropped DDP throat first down on the ring bell being held up by Daivari. as Savage and Brazil check on DDP and as fans in disgust throw trash at a fleeing Daivari, Volkoff, and Iron Sheik, tonight's episode comes to an end.

As I always say you are the best at building to the big events. I loved Dibiase pitting Thesz & Rogers vs. Hennig & Race and also RVD vs. Hennig. Trish is going to have a tough time in there with George, Firpo and Duggan. Holy Cow. Another Holy Cow is in order for the Brody & Snuka vs. Road Warriors Las Vegas Street Fight. Vegasmania is already stacked.

I guess a good thing about having to rest all weekend on doctor's orders is that it gave me a chance to get back to my LOW fed.

Match #1: The Rocker Marty Jannetty defeated Sinn Bodhi
- a good match, Jannetty won with a superkick
- afterward, VWE Chairman of the Board the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase arrived and said both Jannetty and Bodhi will be in a battle royal taking place on the Vegasmania Preshow!
Backstage: Interviewed by Penny Banner, Bobo Brazil say he knows United States Champion Harley Rae has a hard head as he wins some of his matches with his DIVING HEADBUTT but that is no match for his own COCO BUTTS which Race will find out for himself at Vegasmania where Brazil says he plans to defeat Race and win the United States Championship.
Match #2: Scott Taylor defeated Redd Dogg
- this match marked the VWE debut for both competitors
- a competitive match, Taylor won via a deathjump
Backstage: Road Warriors, upset at Bruiser Brody's victory over Road Warrior Animal last week on RAW, say they have secured a match against Brody and Jimmy Snuka more in their (Road Warrior's) favor, a tag team match, next week on RAW as a warmup for their Las Vegas Street Fight against Brody and Snuka at Vegasmania!
Match #3: VWE Tag Team Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage (accompanied by Malia Hosaka) defeated Shawn Daivari (accompanied by Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff)
- Savage was not accompanied by his fellow VWE Tag Team Champion Diamond Dallas Page for this match due to Daivari helping set up DDP's injury with that brutal steel chair attack last week.
- thanks to interference from Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (who challenge Savage and DDP for the Vegas Tag Team Championship at Vegasmania,) this was a surprisingly competitive match but Savage won via a jumping knee to back
- afterward, an outnumbered Savage got jumped by the Iron Sheik and Volkoff and afterward the Iron Sheik put Savage in the CAMEL CLUTCH until Curt Hennig and Rob Van Dam (but not Savage's own tag team partner DDP) arrived to make the save.
DiBiase's Office: Red Dogg and Scott Taylor enter to find DiBiase talking to two previously unknown wrestlers in VWE- Lenny Lane and the Blue Meanie.
- DiBiase tells Lane and Meanie that their VWE contracts have been finalized and they will be making their VWE debut at Vegasmania in the Preshow battle royal.
- after Lane and Meanie leave, DiBiase tells Dogg and Taylor he invited them in to tell them they will also be at Vgasmania, but instead of the Preshow match they will instead be on the show itself in a handicap match against a wrestler who used to be in Major League Wrestling making his VWE debut and he says this debut may be somewhat patriotic.

- afterward, an angry DiBiase entered the ring and told Thesz and Rogers next week they are wrestling against each other in the main event of the final RAW before Vegasmania!

Sorry to hear about your doctor visit but it's good that you are doing better. I am really enjoying the actions of Ted Dibiase and I am getting Dario Cueto vibes off of him which is pretty cool. He really likes to stir things up just like Cueto in Lucha Underground. That was awesome to see Lou Thesz & Buddy Rogers having to team up despite their differences and what a win over Harley Race & Larry Hennig. The build to Vegasmania has been incredible and it will be interesting to see the former MLW wrestler debuting in a handicap match against Scott Taylor & Redd Dogg.
