MASS HYSTERIA ERUPTS AT THE IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT 23 FINALS PRESS CONFERENCE!

The GWF Board of Directors ordered a live press conference leading up to IT 23 in an attempt to capitalize on the excitement of the event with even further publicity and solar coverage.

The press room at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena erupts it loud boos and chants of “BS! BS! BS!” when Deva makes the official announcement that the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT 23 FINALS will take place at the Aethran War Dome!

It had long been rumored that the finals would be held here at the DIA - but the holovision ratings for the super controversial ending to Bracket 1 on Aethra were through the roof - causing the Board to change direction and host the finals from Aethra instead.

This is great news for fans on Aethra and our GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Apex - but horrible news for the other three wrestlers in the finals.

Fans recall how Shayne was robbed of bracket 1 when Aethran Soldiers brazenly attacked and beat him without repercussions.

Does the same fate await Zulfiqar, Orrus and Nosfera?

Orrus the Unstoppable with Vizir is the first man to the podium. Orrus is not phased by the finals being on Aethra and promises to break the necks of any Aethran Soldier with UNSTOPPABLE SLAM who dares get in his way!

Vizir calls the Aethrans a defeated race after the shenanigans by the Dark Menace left the entire planet exposed as frauds.

Vizir says that Orrus winning the GWF GALACTIC TITLE on Aethra will be the final crowning blow to the Gladiators.

Deva takes exception, coming out next in grand fashion down the runway with a major power walk.

She introduces the GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION - APEX!

Apex is rocking a slightly new look (foil card)

He is flanked by a large group Aethran Soldiers. The biggest soldier wearing a M197 arm band appears to be the lead man, taking orders from Apex then delivering them to the rest of the group.

Apex screams that nobody is safe from him anymore - including the other Gladiators.

This receives a mixed reaction from the crowd.

The crowd has its attention diverted when Krakan appears! Krakan immediately commands attention just with his sheer presence. Even Apex turns his attention to the Invincible bastard.

Krakan says he has nothing but respect for Aethra, but that right now, they are down and weak. Krakan says his military tactics cannot be topped, and his brains will help Nosfera beat Apex and his army of brawny Aethran soldiers.

At that moment smoke filled the room, causing everyone to start coughing, their eyes watering.

“Somebody open a window!” screams someone from the crowd.

Others start panicking and running for the exits! It’s pandemonium!

Sensing a trap, Vizir takes this opportunity to get lost in the smoke and exit the area, but Orrus stays prepared to fight!

Just then the Burning Man appears! His arms outstretched, black smoke bellowing from his body.

Deva is screaming for her security team for help!

But it’s too late!

Nosfera appears out of nowhere leaping out of the smoke!

He snatches up Deva and leaps three giant leaps across the room and up to a chandelier with Deva in his arms!

Deva is a screaming, terrified wreck, helpless to escape the clutches of the horrifying Spring Heeled Jack!

Entering the fray last and almost completely unnoticed due to the mass chaos is Zulfiqar!

Zulfiqar rides his white steed through the black smoke in an incredible scene, jumping high over the head of Apex and then onto a large table where the horse leaps again high into the air where Zulfiqar slices through the chandelier with his sword!

Deva falls right into the arms of Zulfiqar as Nosfera leaps away just in time as the chandelier comes crashing to the floor!

Zulfiqar rescues Deva, but the reunion is short-lived as the hooded hero quickly returns her to the front of the stage on his horse, dropping her at the feet of Apex - then disappears as magically as he appeared.

Krakan and Burning Man follow Nosfera and exit stage left as well, leaving only Orrus who is brawling with the Aethran Soldiers!

With a scarred Deva clutching his leg, Apex lets out a deafening scream and holds the GWF GALACTIC TITLE high over his head to end one of the craziest press conferences in GWF history.

Whelp... If I wasn't 'SURE' of an APEX win before, I am NOW!

When Nosfera grabbed Deva and jumped to the chandelier I was picturing a swashbuckling movie. Zulfiqar completed it with his sword. Great stuff. Then that Star Wars like pose with Apex and Deva was nice. Apex should roll here but if there is a dark horse that can pull the upset I would think it is the horse rider himself, Zulfiqar.

FINALS BRACKET: GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Apex, Orrus the Unstoppable, Nosfera and Zulfiqar.

* Apex (5) needs both a distraction from Deva and outside interference from the Aethran Soldiers to beat Orrus (6), who got a distraction of his own from Vizir in a wildly tense GWF GALACTIC TITLE defense. *****

Orrus kicked out of APEX OF GLORY three times before finally falling to a Gladiator Piledriver.

* Zulfiqar (3) dominated Nosfera (7), submitting the demon w CRY NINKARAK! *****

Zulfiqar successfully fought off outside interference from both Krakan and Burning Man during the match.

* Apex (3) retains the GWF GALACTIC TITLE pinning Nosfera (4) w APEX OF GLORY.

Again both Krakan and Burning Man both attempt to interfere in the match but his efforts are thwarted by an army of Aethran soldiers surrounding the ring.

* Zulfiqar (3) wins a hard-hitting match against Orrus (2) by submission w CRY NINKARAK!

* Nosfera (4) pins Orrus (8) w DEMON’S BREATH in another wild match that saw Krakan and Vizir throw fists outside of the ring! *****

It all comes down to Apex (c) vs Zulfiqar

* Apex seizes the moment, catapulting Zulfiqar (3) across the ring with APEX OF GLORY to sweep the bracket and capture eternal redemption winning IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT 23.

Apex is given a standing ovation and a celebration fit for a king by the Aethran army in the center of the ring.

The same man who once faced a real gut-check after a disastrous record in Tournament of the Immortals, comes back to redeem himself going 6-0 and cementing his legacy as one of the few and only wrestlers to enter IT as GWF CHAMPION and retain going 6-0 to win the tournament.

No surprise here at all, but that's taking nothing away from APEX. He seems to be the Aethran next big thing, but Siege is right there on his level - if not a little better.


After watching Clash at the Castle and seeing how rabid the Scottish fans were for their countrymen, I can't imagine the level of rabidness for Gladiators from an entire planet. The roar of the crowd, not to mention the stomping, has to be deafening.

BRACKET 1: GWF CHAMPION Apex, Siege, GWF HEAVY METAL CHAMPION Shayne and Pinnacle.

Pinnacle gets a heroes welcome from the home star crowd as the first man down the aisle. His entrance is magic in every way, full of lights and fireworks as far as the eye can see. He is accompanied to the ring by the Forbidden.

* Pinnacle (5) uses FACE OF ETERNITY to steal victory out from under Shayne (1), who dominated the match. 3.5

Pinnacle also needed outside interference from the Forbidden to win his first GWF match. And the crowd at the Arc of Eternity loved every second of it!

* Siege (2) seizes the day, defeating Apex (7) w a Siege Stunner to win the GWF GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP. 5

Major drama in this match as the Aethran Soldiers remained neutral, despite cries from Deva to help Apex by attacking Siege, but they ignored her orders.

After the match, the Aethran Soldiers left with our new champion.

NEW GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION - Siege!

No rest for the wicked! Siege immediately has his first title defense!

* Siege (4) pins Shayne (2) w AETHRAN CRIPPLER after a distraction from the Aethran Soldiers to retain the GWF GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP. 3.5

* More insane drama when Apex (4) defeats Pinnacle (3) by disqualification after outside interference from the Forbidden. 4

Pinnacle, the Forbidden and the crowd were shocked that the GWF referee disqualified Pinnacle here at the Arc of Eternity!

The alien ref points to the GWF logo on his shirt, explaining that while we may be in a new universe, the same old rules still apply!

The livid crowd litters the ring with garbage!

Pinnacle orders the Forbidden to attack the referee w GATEKEEPER DROP!

The referee is stretchered out as the fans cheer and throw trash at his lifeless body.

* GWF CHAMPION Siege (2) pins Pinnacle w AETHRAN CRIPPLER (snake eyes) to retain the GWF GALACTIC CHAMPIONSHIP and sweep Bracket 1. 2

The count was so fast it gave no time for the Forbidden to react. Possible revenge by the new GWF referee, who high-tailed it up the ramp and out of sight the second after he counted 3.

Siege talks major shit to the crowd after the match, declaring himself the real leader of this universe!

Siege promises that the Gladiators will destroy every new wrestler on Myth Worlds one by one until they are all begging GODSEND to send them back to Dimension K!

With the bracket decided and a riot about to break out, Apex challenges Shayne to finish things by going forward with their match.

Entertained and inspired, GODSEND decides to make this a COSMIC CAGE MATCH for the GWF HEAVY METAL TITLE on a whim.

This decision is announced by GODSEND through the Chameleon Creatures, who act as the commissioners of the GWF by proxy.
