poor poor DiBiase he just can't seem to win. Rogers is doing well with a win over Superfly BOBO! and jealousy rears its head ack-ptooo as Sheik and Volkoff send a message they weren't happy. a tag team between Bobo/Hacksaw vs. Foreign Legion and already tag teams are forming. RVD goes down to Steen. Dark Menace can't be thrilled with this loss. Valentine loses to Thesz and the Dream Team against Brody & Thesz...HUSS! HUSS! another tag match when the brackets are done. The Macho Man acts like a wounded animal outside the ring. true to form he lashes out and gets DQ'd Brody takes a bit to put down but Race finally does it. the Phenomenal one puts the Perfect one down for a three count. and AJ's ego is growing. the PWR is in your hands, I have my ticket for the next show

So barflymike4ever made me realize that PWR could easily mean "Power".
I like it.
Also, while I'm a little sad that Brody lost another one, he lost to Harley Race... who, with Brody, is among my all-time favorite wrestlers (not just in the game, but EVER). So I guess I can't be ~that~ upset.
I also think that it's great that some feuds are starting to organically form and grow.

So barflymike4ever made me realize that PWR could easily mean "Power". I like it. That's what I was aiming for... You would not believe how many 'P' words I went through before realizing... Oh yeah, Pariah starts with 'P'... Â I also think that it's great that some feuds are starting to organically form and grow. Really hoping that this continues... Although I have a lot of fun plotting out angles, I prefer it when the occur naturally while playing the game... Â just a bug in the ear...possible future team up of Bruiser Brody & Brodie Lee Likely more than a possibility... Just sayin'... Truly appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friends... Many thanks!

The action is moving at a furious pace in PWR and I have to say the tournament bouts have been both fun and surprising. Bobo Brazil over Jimmy Snuka in 0:39, WOW! Even wilder is Bobo and Duggan now uniting against Sheik & Volkoff after Bobo's quick win. That should be a fun tag feud. I like that you are going to be adding other talent and I second a Bruier Brody & Brodie Lee tag team. That would be pretty amazing to see. I like that your going to see the tournament through first. It's a good idea as you can save the tag and grudge action for later while still building it up during the tournament.

This is what the game is all about... That potential alliance between Brody and Thesz came out of nowhere... Expect it might evaporate just as quickly... Brazil has been excellent and that victory over Duggan was unreal... Can't wait to see what happens over the next few shows... Well try to build up these angles a bit without altering the natural flow of the game... Always appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

It's good to see you venturing into this mix fed and it's a good start, so it'll be fun following along. I really like Styles over Perfect, that would've been a cool match to have really seen...

It's been a long time coming, to be sure... So happy with the color Legends cards that I might the two online CAC sets as well... The Dr Mike Lano card has always intrigued me and it would definitely be cool to get DDP into the mix (among others)... Styles vs Hennig would have been a true dream match in my eyes... And I'm pleased that the Phenomenal One has kept his undefeated streak going... Truly appreciate you taking the time to read and comment, my friend... Many thanks!

Revival #4: Eclipse Tournament from Times Union Center (Albany, NY)
- Bravo Bracket - Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Randy Savage Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Randy Savage via disqualification at 7:24 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: With his trusty 2X4 slung over his shoulder, Duggan marches to the ring like a man on a mission. As soon as the opening bell rings, he tears into Savage with a shoulder block and several wild haymakers. A Tough Guy clothesline puts Savage on the mat and Duggan goes for an early cover. Savage kicks out with ease, so Duggan goes right back on the attack. He nails the FLYING SPEAR twice, but Savage keeps going. Bailing out to the floor, Savage waits for Duggan to make his move. Duggan charges and Savage back body drops him through a table! Savage unleashes a quick hitting offensive that concludes with his patented FLYING ELBOW DROP. Duggan is able to get a foot on the ropes, breaking the count. Savage tosses Duggan out to the floor and starts choking him against a guardrail. The ref tries to intervene and Savage responds by shoving him out of the way. Duggan picks up his first win as a result of the technical decision. (Fatigue: Duggan 1 - Savage 3)
- Bravo Bracket - Iron Sheik vs. Ted DiBiase Iron Sheik defeated Ted DiBiase via submission at 7:47 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: Although DiBiase displays plenty of resiliency, he fails to cause Sheik any noticeable issues in this contest. After knocking DiBiase to the canvas, Sheik works him over with his Camel Rider maneuver, steadily preparing him for the CAMEL CLUTCH. DiBiase mounts a minor comeback, but mistimes a diving fist off the second turnbuckle. Using his Loaded Boot to great effect, Sheik kicks DiBiase repeatedly before locking in the CAMEL CLUTCH. The ref calls for the bell when DiBiase becomes unresponsive. (Fatigue: DiBiase 7)
- Alpha Bracket - Jimmy Snuka vs. Kevin Steen Jimmy Snuka defeated Kevin Steen via disqualification at 10:51 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Steen completely ignores the jeers of the crowd and tries to bully his way to an immediate advantage. He whips Snuka to the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle before pounding him with a fisherman buster onto a knee. Snuka dodges a hard elbow smash, answering with a leap frog and vicious chop. A backbreaker puts Steen down on the canvas. Wanting to put this one away early, Snuka comes off the top rope and lands the SUPERFLY LEAP. Steen has plenty of gas left and easily kicks out. Staying on the attack, Snuka rocks Steen with a flying head butt and goes for a high risk maneuver. Steen jumps up behind his opponent to attempt a superplex, but Snuka shoves him back to the mat and hits a diving knee. Snuka goes to the well once too often and Steen moves out of the way! Steen grounds his opponent with a sleeperhold suplex and then hits a high angle senton bomb for a near fall. Blasting Snuka with the F-CINQ, Steen takes time out to mock the crowd. This mistake gives Snuka time to recover and roll out to the floor. A wild brawl erupts and though neither man seems eager to listen to the ref, Steen goes too far by hitting Snuka with an atomic drop, crotching him on the metal guardrail. (Fatigue: Snuka 2 - Steen 3)
- Alpha Bracket - Bruiser Brody vs. Buddy Rogers Bruiser Brody defeated Buddy Rogers via pinfall at 0:27 Match Rating: 0.10 (squash) Match Notes: On his way to the ring, Rogers is approached by The Dark Menace. The devious manager appears intent on building some kind of working relationship with the talented superstar. While the two men are discussing a possible arrangement, Brody attack with his steel chain! Shoving the Menace out of his way, Brody drags Rogers from the back, shouting 'Huss!' the entire way. Brody rolls Rogers into the ring and hammers him with a JUMPING KNEE DROP. The ref is perplexed, but gets over his uncertainty when Brody yells at him to count the pinfall. Brody claims the win in record time! (Fatigue: n/a)
- Bravo Bracket - AJ Styles vs. Gorgeous George (w/ Cherie Dupre) AJ Styles defeated Gorgeous George via pinfall at 6:02 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The reputation of Styles precedes him and Cherie helps her man to an advantage by interfering early. George works Styles over with a hammerlock before transitioning to his Gorgeous Grip. A fingernail rake across the back only seems to annoy Styles and avoiding a dropkick, he unloads on George with a Rack Bomb. George slides out to the floor and nearly gets counted out after Styles hits him with a ferocious combination. Styles tosses George back into the ring and applies the Calf Killer. As he cranks on the hold, Styles yells at George to surrender to the Phenomenal One. George makes it to the ropes to force the break, but while struggling to his feet, Styles rocks him with a Pele Kick for a near fall. A springboard forearm serves as a setup move for the STYLES CLASH. Cherie tries to cause a much needed distraction, but Styles uses his boot to shove her off the apron and the ref makes the three count. (Fatigue: George 3)
- Bravo Bracket - Bobo Brazil vs. Curt Hennig Curt Hennig defeated Bobo Brazil via pinfall at 14:00 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Following the assault by Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff at Revival #3, it was questionable whether or not Brazil would be medically cleared to compete. Despite the injury to his neck (+2 PIN), Brazil offers plenty of resistance in this brilliant encounter. Brazil opens the match by coming out on top of a test of strength, but then mistimes a running splash into the corner. Hennig uses a sleeper to wear the big man down before delivering a HENNIG PLEX. Brazil shows he is far from finished by kicking with authority. Hennig whips Brazil into the buckles and tries to take him down with a back suplex. Brazil retaliates with a back elbow and immediately follows up with a COCO BUTT! He makes the cover, but Hennig sneaks a shoulder off the mat just in time. The battle rages back and forth with both men relying on their respective strengths. Hennig tries to keep the match moving at a swift pace and manages to deliver another HENNIG PLEX. Once again, Brazil kicks out. Brazil retaliates with a forearm hammer and repeated Bobo body slams. As the contest continues, Hennig's superb conditioning comes into play. He exploits his opponent's injury, putting Brazil down with a snapmare and following up with a highly effective rolling neck snap. With just one minute left in the regulation time limit, Hennig hits a third HENNIG PLEX for a perfect pinning combination. Brazil experiences his first loss of the tournament. (Fatigue: Brazil 3 - Hennig 3)
- Alpha Bracket - Greg Valentine (w/ The Dark Menace) vs. Harley Race Harley Race defeated Greg Valentine via pinfall at 3:04 Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: The Dark Menace is still obviously shaken up from his earlier encounter with Bruiser Brody and it prevents him from paying strict attention to what takes place during this virtually one sided encounter. Valentine makes the foolish mistake of trying to go toe-to-toe with Race right out of the gate. He has some success at first, slamming Race with a knee breaker before driving his head into the man's midsection. Valentine whips his opponent to the results and both men go down following a double clothesline. The extremely tough Race is back on his feet almost instantly. He rocks Valentine with a forearm slug and a head butt before putting him down with a VERTICAL SUPLEX. Valentine gets a foot on the ropes in time to stop the count, but Race resolutely finishes him with a second VERTICAL SUPLEX. (Fatigue: Valentine 1)
- Alpha Bracket - Lou Thesz vs. Rob Van Dam Lou Thesz defeated Rob Van Dam via pinfall at 11:57 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: The contest starts with a handshake and both men start circling, trying to gain some measure of the approach their opponent will take. Thesz avoids a springboard back kick and takes RVD to the mat with a double leg pickup into a slam. Without hesitation, Thesz goes to work with a series of holds, meaning to steal his opponent's mobility. Realizing that he needs to keep away from the ground based action, RVD immediately transforms into a whirlwind of motion. He strikes Thesz from every conceiveable angle, hitting a standing moonsault for one pinfall attempt and Rolling Thunder for a second. The fight moves outside the ring where RVD keeps the pressure on, blasting the air from his opponent's lungs with a rolling fireman's carry onto the concrete floor! Pausing briefly, RVD works the crowd into a frenzy with his 'ROB VAN DAM' thumb gestures. He grabs a steel chair and blasts Thesz with the Van Daminator and the ref chooses to let the match continue. With blood pouring down his face, Thesz suddenly wakes up! He tears into RVD and puts him through a table with a released power bomb, narrowly avoiding disqualification. Back inside the ring, Thesz traps RVD with a stepover toehold facelock. RVD refuses to give up, so Thesz releases the hold. He bounces RVD off the ropes and hits a THESZ PRESS into a flawless pinning combination. As a sign of respect, Thesz extends a hand toward RVD to help him back to his feet. After a brief moment of hesitation, RVD accepts the offer and congratulates Thesz on the great performance. (Fatigue: Thesz 4 - RVD 1)
Overall Card Rating: 1.83
