Even by the time Vader came in, it was becoming a lost art. Vader was a favourite of mine. I loved his theme tune in WCW and the way he chewed up and spat out Sting many a time!

I may not be a comedian, but I'm a funny son of a **clears throat** You are right, calling something entertainment doesn't mean it's entertaining. I just feel like the hardcore fans of any genre are sometimes too critical. Just my $.02! I will def have fun. Looking forward to seeing guys that I have only seen in card form. I do agree that some fans get twisted up in the work rate vs entertainment arguments. I'm strictly speaking in story telling terms. That intergender match is inexcusable. Cena is a huge star and should be in a huge storyline at the biggest show of the year, not an infomercial for Total Divas disguised as a match. The thing is, when marketing to the mainstream audience, Cena is positioned in a huge match with big appeal to non-hardcore wrestling fans. Unfortunately that is what is important on this show to the corporate entity. Of course I like most all big time wrestling fans would rather see Cena in a different match, and are still dying to get that Undertaker match we should have had last year if Cena was healthy. But I completely understand why they booked him in this match, and think they have done a great job building up the feud the past few weeks.

I'm all for wrestling as entertainment, but 2- or 3-hour commercials, as described, don't fit that description for me. Unfortunately, not only is this one of the biggest who-cares WM cards since the dark days of the early '90s, but the bloom is really off the NXT rose at this point. I'm sure they'll end up with a good show in the end, but is anyone excited for or even talking about Takeover this time around?

But I completely understand why they booked him in this match, and think they have done a great job building up the feud the past few weeks. I understand their attempts to fit in with Hollywood, mainstream celebrities and the drones who follow that junk, but it doesn't work for pro wrestling, never has and never will. To the casual fan, wrestling will always be fake and gay. The Rock escaped that stereotype. Cena is no Rock, and never will be either. Vince should pay attention to his bro, President Trump. Forget MSM, all they ever do is make fun of wrestling anyways. Stop kissing up to celebrities. The majority of fans are not going to vote, or watch because of how many celebrities you pay to stand around on your stage. HHH gets it. Tom Filsinger gets it. Put as much varied content out there for your loyal fan base, and let them spend their money on the things they want most. Casual fans don't watch WWE Network, or watch RAW for 3 hours THEN watch 205 live. I don't even do that shit and I'm a huge wrestling fan. These fans are your lifeblood. I have personally watched this same business model of ignoring your core audience destroy the fitness industry. Back in the day we had gyms everywhere. Real gyms. Power racks everywhere, chalk, grunting etc...Powerhouse Gym, World Gym etc...big scary dudes throwing around mad weight every day. But that became a problem. Turns out it intimidated the snowflakes. Made them nervous. How are they expected to stand around on their phone or sit on their machine for 20 minutes with these testosterone filled lunks making them feel inadequate? Same thought process behind the PG-13 rating and blood. So they came up with an idea, let's make "gym" a bad word, and instead create a "Fitness Center". We will market to everyone but those stupid muscle heads. And in some cases (Planet Fitness), we will actually ostracize these gym freaks. Well, decade later these " Fitness Centers" are going out of business right and left. Can't keep their members, can't move any product. Guess why? Because the people who pour their money into gym memberships and supplements and protein powders and gym equipment are dedicated weight lifting regulars. Not New Years resolution types, or runners, or bikers or people who treat exercise like a trend and stand around on their phones. That's the wrestling business one day if they keep ignoring their core fans trying hard to be accepted by everyone else. You gotta cater to both casual and regular fans, but you can't ostracize your regulars. And in WWE's case, they pick the worst day of the year to do that.

I have a couple WM predictions:
The Shield reunite to help fend off HHH, KO, and Samoa Joe!
After Lesnar wins the title and he is celebrating, the lights go out.....Finn Balor shows up!! Setting up The Beast vs The Demon!

Nikki Bella revealed that she went in for x-rays at Tampa General Hospital on Wednesday because she suffered a severe sprain in her neck last week, which is why she was off weekend live events in Virginia. She learned on Thursday morning that there is a slight herniation above where she had surgery but she is cleared for Sunday.

You gotta cater to both casual and regular fans, but you can't ostracize your regulars. And in WWE's case, they pick the worst day of the year to do that. Don't worry. WrestleMania is for the casual fan. Hard core fans get things back on track on Monday Night Raw the next evening (or at least impose their will on the show).

And if Wrestlemania is for the casual fan, who exactly is the New Day hosting for? I'm afraid to ask.

Here's some BOLD predictions that could be cool for this Sunday.
Kane (masked) wins the battle royal in his final match then retires.
Samoa Joe "takes advantage of an opportunity" by turning on HHH, helping Rollins win. Foley will probably interfere in this match too.
After Cena and Nikki win and enjoy a big celebration together, the crowd anticipates a Cena proposal, but instead Nikki takes a knee! John walks off leaving Nikki destroyed in the ring. This sets up next season of Total Divas when in the final episode, Cena admits he wanted to be the one to propose, and does - to Pat Patterson.
The New Day have some kind of confrontation (maybe a video) with the Hardy's.
