My promotion is a small indy Fed based in Southern California. It's tagline is: "This isn't Your Abuelita's (grandma's) Sports Entertainment!" At this stage of my life as a pro wrestling fan (of 40-years) I get a much bigger kick out of indy shows than WWE. So I've combined various real life wrestlers from the ROH, Evolve, Shimmer, Chikara and the other Indy sets and some homemade bootlegs (never more than 20-24 individual wrestlers per promotional 'season') and I play as if I'm booking for a company that never really leaves the LA-area, has no television (just a YouTube channel for streaming and highlights) and promotes itself largely by word of mouth, fliers on buildings and the Internet. That's a lot of fun for me because I don't have to be so serious with my product. I can have Cheeseburger in a 3-Way Dance against Shark Boy and Super Porky (my homemade card for Brazo de Plata/José Alvarado Nieves) and imagine Joey Styles screaming, "OMG! Super Porky and Shark Boy are literally trying to eat Cheeseburger!!!!"
I've registered a Tumblr for my promotion and will share the link soon.

There will be more to come but February is when I believe the real fun will start in my promotion, if for no other reason then its my birthday month and I've been annoying all my friends and relations about buying me various game sets for presents rather than the usual stuff. I may end up with more fresh faces than I know what to do with for a while lol.

Great stuff! And if you’re in SoCal, make plans to join us for GalactiCal, a day full of Filsinger Games fun. Right now it tentatively scheduled for April 28, but I’ll know more in the weeks ahead. It’ll probably happen in Burbank so if you’re local, be sure to plan on being there!
