Just like all your events, this one boasts a very interesting field of competitors... I'm picking Lyndon, even though he might be a bit of a longshot... He has such an original style in the ring... A delight to watch... Fun stuff!

FROM THE INNER SANCTUMS FROM THE CAVE TRAINING PHYSICALITY IN COLDWATER, MICHIGAN DAN THE BEAST SEVERN WELCOMES THE EIGHT GENTLEMEN INVOLVED IN THIS EVENT, AND WISHES THEM LUCK AS THEY ALL STAND AROUND THE RING...OTHER DAN SEVERN STUDENTS ARE ALSO PRESENT TRAINING IN MANY DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES. GROUP A MATCH UP CRAIG MITCHELL vs. ERIC RYAN
"Eric Ryan began by side stepping Mitchell and getting him down with a drop toe hold right into a single leg crab. Mitchell reaches the ropes but got caught right into a jumping Neck Breaker! Superkick! and Senton combination for a near victory for Ryan.
Mitchell got to his feet but again got caught via the jumping neck Breaker, which was followed up quickly by a diving double stomp! This again gave Eric a NEAR victory. Mitchell no question showed his determination by not only kicking out but coming back with a vicious side smack which caught Ryan flush backing him up in the corner, which led Mitchell to go for a charging elbow but missed!
Ryan recovered and hit his Coast 2 Coast followed by another diving double stomp right into his RYAN-TAMER Finisher! HOWEVER once again Mitchell escapes! and connects with some big stiff knee strikes that seemingly knocked Eric out on his feet.
Mitchell connected with his big man moonsault and applied the Camel Clutch finisher! After several moments Eric Ryan was able to struggle to the ropes for the break.
The two slowly got to their feet, trading strikes despite the exhaustion setting in for both, when out of nowhere Eric hit a nasty Superkick to the face which Craig responded with some nasty elbow strikes. Ryan would again counter with a superkick and again Mitchell would kick out of a pin attempt!
Eric Ryan however would again get his RYAN-TAMER Finisher to finally get the hard earned victory and a point." GROUP A MATCH UP JAKA vs. COLIN DELANEY "Stare down between the two, when Delaney suddenly caught the Silky Savage with a knife edge chop and a leg lariat! Colin continued as he connected with a skin the cat elbow! BUT as Delaney came off the ropes he got turned inside out by a vicious clothesline, Jaka followed up quickly with his JAGUAR JAWS Finisher! However Delaney gets to a standing position despite the hold being applied and backs into the ropes, the official breaks the hold and Delaney comes off the ropes with a suicide dive!
A flying elbow rocks the bigger Jaka and Colin quickly goes with a backslide for the three count and victory and point to the surprise of many! Suddenly Chris Dickenson comes from the back into the ring to help his long time tag team partner who sat in the ring in shock! As Dickenson was leaving with Jaka he had a bit of a stare down with Colin Delaney." GROUP B MATCH UP LOUIS LYNDON vs. MIKEY O'SHEA
"As O' Shea was getting in the ring, Louis connected with a plancha right out of the gate! Outside of the ring Louis then spiked O' Shea with a DDT right on the unprotected floor at ringside! The official counted to 20 for the count out and just like that Louis Lyndon was victorious! Several of Dan Severn's students stopped training and helped O' Shea to the back to get medical attention, as Louis Lyndon just stood in the middle of the ring with a smirk on his face." GROUP B MATCH UP FRED YEHI vs. TIM DONST "Two of the favorites to win this tournament go face to face in the middle of the ring when Donst connected with a sick forearm strike to the jaw of Yehi who did not even see it coming! Spinning back Cradle followed by 3 consecutive rolling back suplexes into a pin combination which Fred was able to kick out of before the three count.
Trouble began to set in for Donst as Yehi began hitting vicious chops to the chest followed by a series of elbow strikes in the corner and a powerbomb for a NEAR fall. Yehi keeps the pressure on with a body scissors but Donst reaches the ropes for a break. Donst then comes off the ropes only to be launched via a back body drop right back into the body scissors by Fred!
Transitioned beautifully by Yehi into his KOJI CLUTCH Finisher! But Donst escapes the hold! and throws Yehi into the Turnbuckle and as Tim charged in looking to take his opponents head off Yehi moved and Donst bashed his head into the steel post, opening a gash on his forehead! Yehi connected with the blame bell and Donst wearing the crimson mask fell like a heap to the mat. Yehi applies his UZAMAKI SPECIAL Finisher for the victory. medical and students came immediately into the ring to attend to Donst
as we fade......." WE HOPE TO HAVE COMMENTS FROM DAN SEVERN AS THE FIRST DAY OF COMPETITION COMES TO AN END...STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES -END
