Dillon: Graham was in control until he missed a dive outside the ring, Houston hit running lariat for a 1-count followed by a top rope clothesline. Then he hit BULLDOG for the 3-count. Ice & Wolfie D.) vs. The Confederacy("The Rebel" Tracy Smothers, Tommy Gilbert & Doug Gilbert): "The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy plays as Cappetta introduces the Gilberts to boos. The boos continue when "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie plays as Cappetta introduces Smothers who waves a Rebel Flag. The boos turn to cheers when "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice plays as Cappetta introduces PG-13. The cheers continue when "I'm No Angel" by Gregg Allmann plays as Cappetta introduces Dundee. The Confederacy dominated Wolfie. Smothers got a near-fall with a crossbody block that drew blood. He later hit JAWJACKER for the win. Thatcher: "The Confederacy gets the win one day before they have two big matches." Cornette: "Smothers vs. Mulligan vs. Orton in a Triple Threat, and the Gilberts challenge the Briscoes for the Confederate States Tag belts in a Table Match." She takes Cappetta's microphone and says, "Those losers Soul Patrol needed me a Hell of a lot more than I needed them. I only associate with real men like my new manager...Bill Alfonso!". "Thunder Kiss '65" by White Zombie plays as Fonzie runs to the ring blowing his whistle. He takes the mic and says, "Commissioner Charlie Cox may have suspended my referee's license, but I also have a manager's license. Now, let's bring out Jazz's victim--I mean, opponent.". "Unskinny Bop" by Poison plays as Cappetta introduces Moretti to cheers. She takes the mic and says, "Jazz, you're not the only one with a new manager.". "The 'F' Word" by Hank Williams, Jr. plays as Jonny Fairplay walks out with Can-Am Glam Rockers(J.D. Michaels & Marty Jannetty). He takes the mic and says, "Fonzie isn't the only 'F' Word in Rebel Wrestling. From now on the 'F' Word is Fairplay, and we are...Fairplay Uncensored. So I have just 2 letters for Jazz & Fonzie--F.U.!". Tina was in control early. She got several near-falls including JUMPING FACEBUSTER that busted open Jazz. Fonzie distracted Tina who chased Fonzie around the ring. Jazz left the ring to brawl with Tina. Jazz threw Tina in the ring and took charge eventually drawing blood with STF. Fairplay jumped on the ring apron. Jazz grabbed him and said, "I'll beat up you and your sick grandma!". Tina hit Jazz from behind, but her attack didn't last long. jazz locked on STF to make Tina tap out. Fonzie took the mic and said, "Fairplay, you think that you're 'Uncensored'? I challenge you to bring 3 'Uncensored' men to the pay-per-view tomorrow, and I'll bring 3 Extremists who really know the meaning of the word 'Uncensored'! Since you'll probably have Glam Rockers in your team's corner, I've got a couple of guys to watch my team's back.". The lights go out. They come back on, and Fonzie's standing in the ring with the "Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal" Sabu! Sabu points to the ceiling. Then he points to the balcony where a man wrapped in barbed wire is standing. He has a cigarette in his mouth, a beer can in one hand & a Singapore Cane in the other hand. The fans sing along as "Enter Sandman" by Metallica plays. Thatcher: "Fonzie's taking rebel Wrestling to the Extreme with Sandman & Sabu." Cornette: "Fonzie & fairplay will manage new teams in a Six-Man Tag tomorrow night." WINNER: Jazz--5 fatigues submitted Tina Moretti--5 fatigues with STF "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol plays as a video airs to promote the 15-Woman Battle Royal at Gateway To Glory to crown the first Rebel Wrestling Dixie Divas Champion. MATCH 3: Good Ol' Boys("Iron" Mike DiBiase & Bob Orton, Sr.) vs. Disciples Of Anarchy("Prince Of Darkness: Kevin Sullivan & Jimmy Jacobs)with Lord Zoltan, Mschif & Bloody Hell ("Bloody" Harker Dirge & Sam Hayne): "Sympathy For The Devil" by Jonathon Round plays as Cappetta introduces DOA to boos. "Good Ol' Boys" by Waylon Jennings plays as Cappetta introduces Good Ol' Boys to cheers. Orton dominated Jacobs who was able to tag Sullivan. Then the "Prince Of Darkness" took over. Orton tagged DiBiase who got brutalized. Sullivan used a Golden Spike and DOUBLE FOOT STOMP to make DiBiase bleed. Jacobs tagged in with Contra Code for the win. The corpse painted Sullivan took the mic and said, "I bought out the contracts of 2 members of House Of Humperdink. The newest Disciples Of Anarchy are Ox Baker & One Man Gang!". "Number Of the Beast" by Iron Maiden plays as Baker & Gang come out with corpse paint on their faces. Sullivan says, "We just destroyed Good Ol' Boys. Now, we want to sacrifice some Southern Boys to Abudadein. I'm challenging any 5 Southern 'rasslers to face members of DOA in a 10-Man Tag at Gateway To Glory.". Thatcher: "Will a team of 5 Southern wrestlers answer Sullivan's challenge?" Cornette: "They'd be fools if they did now that Baker & Gang are in DOA." WINNER: Disciples Of Anarchy(Kevin Sullivan--0 fatigue & Jimmy Jacobs--3 fatigues) beat Good Ol' Boys(Mike DiBiase--5 fatigues & Bob Orton, Sr.--2 fatigues) when Jacobs pinned DiBiase with Contra Code "Decorum please!" yells Thatcher as Sir Oliver Humperdink interrupts the show. The Grappler & Samoan Island Tribe(Samu & Alofa) are with him. Hump takes Cappetta's mic and says, "As you just heard, I sold the contracts of Ox Baker & One Man Gang to Kevin Sullivan. I used that money to sign these gentlemen.". He hands the mic to Grappler who says, "I'm tired of people saying that Masked Superstar's the best masked man in Rebel Wrestling. I want a match with you tonight!". Then he grabs Cappetta and says, "If you don't come out here, maybe I'll just beat up GMC! Hump, Samoans, leave the ring. I've got a match with GMC right now!". Hump & Samoans leave the ring, but Superstar storms the ring and attacks Grappler! The bell rings to start this impromptu match.
MATCH 4: Masked Superstar vs. The Grappler with Sir Oliver Humperdink & Samoan Island Tribe(Samu & Alofa): Superstar was in complete control, but he couldn't keep Grappler down. He drew blood with COBRA HOLD and got the win with SPINNING NECKBREAKER. He takes the mic and says, "Now that I've finished taking out the trash, I accept Kevin Sullivan's challenge. I'm a proud Southerner, and I don't think I'll have any trouble finding partners--Southern Knights--who are willing to stand up & fight Sullivan's Disciples.". Thatcher: "The 10-man Tag is official, but who will be on Superstar's team?" Cornette: "Probably 4 idiots that are just as stupid as Masked Superstar." WINNER: Masked Superstar--0 fatigue pinned Grappler--4 fatigues with SPINNING NECKBREAKER

Gentlemen. what are your thoughts on Jazz leaving you to join Bill Alfonso's Extremists?" Ware: "My macaw, Frankie, told me not to trust that backstabbing witch! We thought she'd watch our backs, but it's obvious that Fonzie paid her off!" Apter: "Are you going to get someone to replace Jazz?" Brown: "I don't know, Bill."(At that point, "Sexy" Sherri Martel comes out with "Playboy" Buddy Rose & "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe, the Pretty Boy Playboys. Sherri has a mic.) Sherri: "Gentlemen, I see a lot of potential in you just like I saw in these men. I'd like to manage both Pretty Boy Playboys & Soul Patrol. What do you say?" Ware:(Holds his macaw up to his ear.)"Frankie trusts her. I think we should too." Brown: "All right, Sister Sherri, you've got a deal. Looks like we just became Soul Brothers with Pretty Boy Playboys. Now hit our music!"("Brick House" by The Commodores plays and Soul Patrol dances with Sherri. Apter starts to leave the ring, but PBP stops him. They start dancing, and Apter joins in! he gets down and shakes his booty with the others.)
MATCH 5: Johnny Valentine & Greg "The Hammer" Valentine with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper vs. Hart Foundation("Ravishing" Rick Rude & King Kong Bundy)with "Mouth Of the South" Jimmy Hart & Masked Superstar II in a TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: "Godzilla" by Blue Oyster Cult plays as Cappetta introduces Bundy to boos. he's accompanied by MSII. hart takes Cappetta's mic and says, "I've signed Masked Superstar II to team with Bundy, but Bundy has some unfinished business first.". He gives the mic to Cappetta who introduces Rude to boos as "Smooth Operator" by Sade plays. Rude takes the mic and says, "Cut the music! What I'd like to have right now, is for all of you fat, out of shape, St. Louis Sweathogs, is to keep the noise down while I take my robe off and show the ladies what Simply Ravishing is all about. Hit my music!". Instead of his music, "The Fire Down Below" by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band plays as Cappetta introduces the Valentines to cheers. The Valentines brutally double-teamed Rude. Greg drew blood with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, and Johnny pinned Rude with ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. Bundy pinned Greg with AVALANCHE. Johnny dominated Bundy. Johnny bloodied Bundy with ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and later got the win with another ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. The referee raises his hand in victory. Thatcher: "Johnny Valentine is the sole survivor of the Elimination Tag Match." Cornette: "He showed us why he's one of the greatest of all-time." "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol plays as a video airs to promote the Jr. Heavyweight Title Match between "King Of Wrestling" Bobby Shane & "Rowdy" Roddy Piper at Gateway To Glory. The video turns to static and is replaced by an image of Shane sitting on a throne. He says, "To all of my loyal subjects in my hometown St. Louis: I chose not to grace you with an appearance on this TV show because you peasants don't deserve it! You'll have to pay to see your King in action on pay-per-view tomorrow night. Long Live The King!".
MATCH 6: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson with Honor Club partners Generation Next(Austin Aries & Roderick Strong) vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage with "Miss Madness" Nora Greenwald, Poffo Family("Don" Angelo Poffo & "The Genius" Lanny Poffo) and Dirty & Nasty("Dirty White Boy" Bob Roop & "Big Nasty" Angelo Mosca): "Pomp And Circumstance" plays as Cappetta introduces Savage to boos. "The Final Countdown" by Europe plays as Cappetta introduces Danielson to cheers. Cornette reminds viewers that Honor Club challenges the Freebirds for the Six-Man Tag Team Titles at Gateway To Glory while Savage meets World Champion Bruiser Brody for the final time--in Hell In A Cell! This was a back-and-forth match. Danielson busted open Savage with CATTLE MUTILATION, but Savage made a comeback.He hit FLYING ELBOW DROP for the win. A bloody Savage climbed to the top turnbuckle, looked in the camera, and said, "Brody, I'm taking you to Hell & I'm taking back the World Title. OHHH YEAHHH!". he left the ring with his entourage while Gen Next checked on Danielson in the ring. Suddenly, 3 masked men run through the crowd and into the ring. They attack Gen Next from behind and proceed to beat down Honor Club. The masked men stand over their fallen victims and then mock Honor Club by doing a triple fist bump. Then they unmask...as Fabulous Freebirds! Thatcher: "Savage gets a big win leading up to his title match, but the Freebirds are sending a message with their sneak attack on Honor Club." Cornette: "I've gotta get ready for the Main Event. Hold down the fort, Thatcher." WINNER: Randy Savage--4 fatigues pinned Bryan Danielson--2 fatigues with FLYING ELBOW DROP
MATCH 7: Rebel Wrestling World Champion Bruiser Brody & Rebel Wrestling TV Champion "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas vs. Rebel Wrestling World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Ravishing" Randy Rose)with Jim Cornette in a Champions vs. Champions Non-Title Match: "On The Dark Side" by John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band plays as Cappetta introduces the Midnights to boos. Thatcher reminds viewers that they'll defend the Tag Titles against Beauty & The Beast tomorrow night. "Takin' Care Of Business" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive plays as Cappetta introduces Atlas to cheers. Thatcher reminds viewers that Atlas teams up with Magnum T.A. to face Rat pack with the TV Title on the line on pay-per-view. "Saturday Night Special" plays as Cappetta introduces Brody to cheers. Brody looks in the camera and says, "Savage, I'll see you in Hell! Huss! Huss!". Rose hit 2 ROSE BOMBS on Brody, but Brody tagged Atlas & Rose tagged Condrey. Atlas & Brody had their way with Condrey. Brody hit twisting vertical suplex that drew blood. Rose attacked Brody, but Brody threw Rose out of the ring and hit JUMPING KNEEDROP to pin Condrey. WINNER: Bruiser Brody--2 fatigues & Tony Atlas--0 fatigue beat Midnight Express(Dennis Condrey--4 fatigues & Randy Rose--0 fatigue) when Brody pinned Condrey with JUMPING KNEEDROP Thatcher: "Brody & Atlas are victorious 1 day before Gateway To Glory. Dillon, Stars And Stripes(Marcus Alexander Bagwell & The Patriot) & Southern Belles(Rockin' Robin & Joyce Grable) vs. Disciples Of Anarchy("Prince Of Darkness" Kevin Sullivan, Ox Baker, One Man Gang, Jimmy Jacobs & Lord Zoltan)with Mschif & Bloody Hell("Bloody" Harker Dirge & Sam Hayne) in a 10-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH: The lights go out as "Number Of The Beast" by Iron Maiden plays. He hands the mic back to Cappetta when a voice from the back says, "Hello, ladies.". "Naughty Naughty" by John Parr plays as Cappetta introduces Val Venis to cheers. Another voice from the back says, "Oh, you didn't know? Your ass better call somebody!". "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister plays as Cappetta introduces "Road Dogg" B.G. James & "Badd Ass" Kip James, the James Gang, to cheers. The former New Age Outlaws enter the ring, and B.G. gives his mic to Kip who syas, "If you're not down with Fairplay Uncensored, we've got two letters for ya.". They crotch-chop right in front of Fonzie as fans say, "F.U.!". This was a back-and-forth match. Venis drew blood on Corino with a top rope crossbody block to the floor. Snow busted open Kip with smash with Head. Corino pinned Kip with OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION. Thatcher: "Extremists beat Fairplay Uncensored in the debut of both teams." The bell rings to start the Triple Threat between former members of J.J. Dillon's Four Horsemen. Smothers knocked Mulligan into the ringpost and knocked him out cold! Then Smothers went after Orton. He beat down Ortonbefore getting the win with moonsault bodyblock. Smothers went to the timekeeper's table where a gym bag was sitting. He reached in the bag and pulled out a championship belt. he put the belt on his shoulder as he took Cappetta's mic and said, "I'm the Confederate States Of America Champion! YEE-HAW!". Thatcher: "He can't just pull out a belt and proclaim himself champion of a country that no longer exists." Cornette: "I have it on good authority that this match was for the vacant C.S.A. Championship." MATCH 7: REBEL WRESTLING SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Fabulous Freebirds(Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy, "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich)(Six-Man Tag Team Champions) vs. Honor Club("American Dragon" Bryan Danielson & Generation Next: Austin Aries & Roderick Strong): "Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row plays as Cappetta introduces Gen Next to cheers. Then "The Final Countdown" by Europe plays and the fans sing along as Cappetta introduces Danielson to cheers. The cheers turn to boos when "Badstreet, U.S.A." plays as Cappetta introduces Freebirds. This was a back-and-forth match with several near-falls. Gilbert hit Danielson with HOT SHOT that drew blood. The Freebirds triple-teamed Danielson until Rich hit THESZ PRESS for the win. The Birds left to celebrate at a local bar while Gen Next helped the heavily bleeding Danielson stand up. At that point, 3 masked men ran through the crowd and entered the ring. When Freebirds did this last night, they attacked Honor Club from behind. These masked men faced Honor Club in a staredown. Finally, the masked men attacked! Two of them went after gen Next while the third man held the bleeding Danielson to make him watch. The first two men easily disposed of Gen Next. The third man dropped Danielson next to his partners. The masked men stood over the fallen Club and saluted each other with a triple fist-bump. One man grabs Cappetta's microphone as "Land Of Confusion" by Genesis plays. he unmasks and says, "I'm 'Swiss Superman' Claudio Castagnoli, and we are the Dogs Of War.". He hands the mic to the second man as "Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider plays. He unmasks and says, "I'm 'Lunatic Fringe' Jon Moxley, and we are the Hounds Of Justice.". He hands the mic to the third man as "Ace Of Spades" by Motorhead plays. He unmasks and says, "I'm 'The Architect' Tyler Black, and we are The Shield.". They bump fists as static fills the arena speakers, and a voice says, "Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta: The Shield." Fans boo as they leave the ring. Thatcher: "This new Six-Man Tag Team, The Shield, has targeted Honor Club." Cornette: "Freebirds are still Six-Man Tag Team Champs. I don't think anyone can beat them." Cappetta announces that this is the final World Title Match between Brody & Savage. This was a back-and-forth bloodbath. Savage busted open Brody with FLYING ELBOW DROP, and Brody drew blood with one-hand bodyslam. They fought on top of the cage, and Savage tried to knock Brody off the cage onto the concrete floor, but Brody fought off the attack. They went back in the cage, but they later climbed on top again. Tony Atlas climbed the cage to help Brody double-team Savage on top of the cage! Atlas left, and Brody & Savage went back to the ring where Brody hit piledriver for the 1-2-3. Outrageousness topdollar! Fantastic in every sense of the word. I just caught up on all and I have to say this fed is the total package: from music to action to suspense to mystery. That final match between Mr. Saturday Night and Macho Man sounded like an awesome match to behold. All under the Stars and Bars banner. Can't believe how many cards you are up to. Congrats to Lelani Kai as well. Totally digging the new hardcore arrivals!
