Also: Bill Apter interviews 2 Cold Scorpio who injured Hardcore Champion Vampiro last week, and the Hardcore TV Title Tournament begins right now!
1: Steve Corino--0 fatigue w/Joanie Laurer vs. Marty Jannetty--4 fatigue w/Melina: Jannetty left the ring, but he tripped over ringside photographer Dr. Mike Lano who was crouched down at ringside taking pictures of Joanie & Melina. Corino stomped Jannetty and threw him back in the ring. Corino hit OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION three times, and Jannetty kicked out all three times. Corino busted open Jannetty with OLD SCHOOL EXPULSION on the floor and pinned him with fisherman's suplex in a TV Title Tournament First Round Match. Then, Corino crotch chopped while telling fans to "Suck it"! WINNER: Steve Corino

The duo from The Misfits decided to have some fun with the newest members of J.O.B. Squad. Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews 2 Cold Scorpio w/Bill Alfonso. Scorpio lost a Non-Title Match to Hardcore Champion Vampiro last week, but Scorpio repeatedly hit THE DISS THAT DON'T MISS after the match and Vampiro had to be stretchered out of the ring. Apter wants to know why Scorpio did that. Fonzie blew his whistle and said, "Because he's Too Cold! That's why!". Scorpio said, "Last week, we saw the newly-formed D-Generation X vs. Trish Stratus' Sex & Violence. We saw the debut of The Paparazzi with Melina.(Looks at Randy Savage at the announce table)That's a cool team, 'Macho Man', but not as cool as me! We saw Eric The Red join The Moondogs as Bone Brigade destroy Terrible Turk's Terrible Trio. Hell, we even saw two new members of J.O.B. Squad! But everyone's talking about how Vampiro formed The Misfits only to get taken out by yours truly!". Teddy Long came out and said, "You may have injured Vampiro's ribs, but he'll be medically cleared in two weeks. However, "The Franchise" took over, and he pinned "The Barber" with BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX in a TV Title Tournament First Round Match! WINNER: "The Franchise" Shane Douglas
8: Val Venis--3 fatigue & Trish Stratus--1 fatigue vs. "Ravishing" Rick Rude--2 fatigue & Joanie Laurer--2 fatigue in a Mixed Tag Team Match: This was a back and forth match between teams representing Sex & Violence and D-Generation X. Venis hit Rude with a second consecutive MONEY SHOT, and then both wrestlers started laying in their blows as Jim Ross said, "This match is bowling shoe ugly!". Venis & Rude couldn't keep up the pace for long, and they both tagged out. Joanie went on to pin Trish with PEDIGREE! WINNER: "Ravishing" Rick Rude & Joanie Laurer

NON-TELEVISED OPENING MATCHES 1: Cuban Assassin w/Fantasy pinned Bob Cook with cobra clutch suplex in a short one-sided match. 2: "Hustler" Rip Rogers w/Oliver Humperdink pinned a bloody Afa Jr. with THE HUSTLE in a back and forth match. 3: Eddie & Mike Graham beat Samoan Dynasty(Alofa & Samu) in a back and forth match when Mike Graham submitted Alofa with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. 4: Kevin Sulivan w/James Mitchell, Luna Vachon, Missing Link & Lord Zoltan pinned a heavily bleeding Steve Keirn with PILEDRIVER. The referee was distracted by the menagerie at ringside and didn't see Sullivan repeatedly stab Keirn with a golden spike to bust him open. Eddie & Mike Graham came out to check on Keirn after the match, but they were attacked by Sullivan, Link & Zoltan.

Gordon interviews Baron Von Raschke before his First Round Match with Big John Studd. Baron says, "It doesn't matter how big & bad John Studd is. He'll fall to The Claw, and that is all the people need to know, Mr. Solie!". Baron's fired up for his match!
1: Big John Studd--0 fatigue vs. Baron Von Raschke--1 fatigue: Despite Baron's passionate interview, Studd dominated the match. Studd submitted Von Raschke with BACKBREAKER in a TV Title Tournament First Round Match! WINNER: Big John Studd
2: The Crusher--3 fatigue vs. Johnny Saint--4 fatigue: Saint was in control for the first half of the match, but Crusher made a comeback. Now, they meet on TV in an Elimination Match! Victoria threw Cora Combs into the turnbuckle and tried a running clothesline. Cora moved, and Victoria crashed into the turnbuckle. 5: "Ravishing" Rick Rude--2 fatigue vs. "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff--5 fatigue: They brawled outside the ring where Dr. Mike Lano got a great shot of the action for a wrestling magazine cover. Rude pinned a bloody Koloff with RUDE AWAKENING in a TV Title Tournament First Round Match. Gordon Solie interviewed Rude after the match about next week's Semi-Finals vs. Jackie Fargo. Rude says, "If Fargo thinks he's winning the tournament, he'll be in for a RUDE AWAKENING!". WINNER: "Ravishing" Rick Rude

Heenan denies saying that. Monsoon plays back the tape from earlier. Heenan says the tape was edited. Monsoon calls Heenan a "fountain of misinformation" and a "wishy-washy Weasel" before saying referee Dick Woehrle will have his hands full with the next match!
6: Antonio Inoki--0 fatigue & Hiro Matsuda--0 fatigue vs. Mr. Fuji--0 fatigue & Mr. Saito--4 fatigue: Inoki beat Masa Saito in a Submission Match last week, but Masa Saito beat Matsuda in a Submission Match earlier this week on Mid-South Thursday Night Thunder. Technically, Matsuda didn't submit--he passed out from blood loss, and the referee stopped the match. Now, Mr. Saito is joined by Mr. Fuji for a tag team match with Inoki & his student Matsuda. Inoki & Matsuda had their way with Saito who was bleeding. Matsuda locked on Boston Crab, and Saito screamed in Japanese. Referee Dick Woehrle called for the bell saying that Saito submitted! WINNER: Antonio Inoki & Hiro Matsuda
7: Wahoo McDaniel--0 fatigue vs. One Man Gang--7 fatigue w/Larry Sharpe in a Brass Knuckles Match: This is a rematch from last week. McDaniel had gang pined, but Sharpe rang the timekeeper's bell to break the count. While the referee argued with ringside officials, Gang hit McDaniel from behind with brass knuckles to knock him out and pin him. McDaniel then challenged Gang to this week's Brass Knuckles Match! McDaniel busted open Gang with overhead chops--with brass knuckles. McDaniel went on to hit Gang with FALLING CHOP--with brass knuckles--that knocked him out in a one-sided match! WINNER: Wahoo McDaniel
8: Central States Tag Team Champions Texas Outlaws(Blackjack Mulligan--0 fatigue & Stan Hansen--2 fatigue) vs. Red Pepper(Red Bastien--0 fatigue & Pepper Gomez--3 fatigue) in a No Disqualification Match: Red Pepper won a Non-Title Match last week by DQ, so Teddy Long awarded them a NO DQ Title shot this week! Red Pepper started off strong by making quick tags, but Outlaws eventually took charge. They kept Gomez isolated in their corner, and Hansen finally pinned Gomez with LARIAT! WINNER: Central States Tag Team Champions Texas Outlaws

2: Don Leo Jonathan--4 fatigue vs. Stanislaus Zbyszko--0 fatigue: DLJ fell out of the ring and twisted his ankle on the floor. He crawled back in the ring where Zbyszko made him bleed. DLJ left the ring, but he tripped over photographer Dr. Mike Lano. Zbyszko stomped DLJ and threw him back in the ring. Zbyszko hit HALF NELSON AND SLAM to pin DLJ for the 3-count in a one-sided TV Title Tournament Semi-Final Match! WINNER: Stanislaus Zbyszko
3: Pampero Firpo--0 fatigue & Dutch Savage--0 fatigue vs. Andre The Giant--0 fatigue in a Handicap Elimination Match: Gordon Solie interviewed Firpo & Savage before the match. They say they'll shock the world when they beat The Giant. Gordon says "Fair enough" as they head to the ring for the match! Andre pinned Savage with BIG SPLASH. Firpo attacked Andre, but Andre threw Firpo into the ropes where he tumbled out of the ring. Andre opened the ropes for Firpo who stepped through them and took down Andre with a legwhip. The referee disqualified Firpo for his lack of sportsmanship as Andre grabbed his leg. Suddenly, Andre's friend S.D. Jones attacked Firpo, but Savage returned to the ring and Andre recovered as a wild brawl erupted! It took the entire security force to break it up, and when the smoke cleared, Teddy Long came out to book Andre & Jones vs. Firpo & Savage in a tag team match next week in Sarasota, Florida! WINNER: Andre The Giant by disqualification
4: Ed "Strangler" Lewis--0 fatigue vs. Dick Hutton--0 fatigue: Lewis submitted Hutton with double wristlock in a TV Title Tournament Semi-Final Match. Gordon Solie shows viewers what happened last week in Hollywood, Florida, when Toni Rose fell out of the ring and hit her head on the floor. When she recovered, she called herself "Timeless" and told Teddy Long that she was ready for her close-up. Gordon says Rose spent all last week in Hollywood, Florida, with a cameraman acting like a movie star from the Golden Age Of Hollywood...Hollywood, California, that is. Gordon shows a video from earlier today where Rose barged into a men's dressing room looking for someone to be her chauffeur, clean her mansion, and cook her meals. She asks if anyone in the room is a driver, a butler, or a cook. Bob Cook replies that he's a Cook. Rose says, "You're a bit scruffy-looking, but I guess you'll do. What's your name, Cookie?". Cook says "Bob", and Rose calls him "Bob The Butler". The video ends and Rose comes out for her match with Penny Banner who's already in the ring. Rose is wearing what appears to be lingerie, a robe, and high heel shoes. She's accompanied by Bob Cook who's wearing a tuxedo. Rose grabs a microphone and points to Rock Riddle at the announce table. She says, "I know who you are, Mr. Riddle. You're the manager & talent agent of all the stars like that new Rat Pack, the Hollywood Mafia. Would you consider representing me, a legend of the silver screen?(Riddle gives her a thumbs-up)Wonderful, darling. My people will call your people, and we'll do lunch.". Banner confronts Rose about her delusions of grandeur. Rose says, "You're just jealous. Look at you in that leopard-print bikini. You look like you're auditioning for 'Sheena The Jungle Queen', but that role belongs to me! Not only am I 'Timeless', but I'm also 'Toni The Tigress'. You will hear me roar, and you will feel my claws!(she says RROWW! and makes a clawing gesture with her hand)Chin up, chest out, and watch for the shoe!(she takes off her high heel shoe and throws it at Banner who picks it up and throws it right back at Rose. The referee calls for the bell, and the match is on!)
6: Penny Banner--2 fatigue vs. "Timeless" Toni Rose--2 fatigue: Rose pinned Banner with NECKBREAKER in a back and forth match as Bob The Butler put Rose's high heel shoes back on her feet! WINNER: "Timeless" Toni Rose
After the match, Rock Riddle calls Toni Rose over to the announce table for an interview with Gordon Solie. She said, "You work fast, Mr. Riddle. I just hired you, and you already got me a TV interview with an esteemed entertainment reporter. What's your question, darling?". Gordon wants to know if a doctor checked the bump on her head. It seems to have made her behave...different. Rose says, "How dare you! I should throw my shoe at you for calling me crazy!". She takes off her shoe, but Dixie Divas Champion Mildred Burke stops Rose from throwing it. Rose hits Burke with the shoe, and a melee ensues! Security separates them, and Rose says, "Well, if it isn't the 'Queen Of The Ring' herself, Millie Burke, coming out to steal my spotlight! You may possess sex, muscles & diamonds, but so do I! However, you do have something that I want(she points to the Dixie Divas Title belt), and that's gold!". Burke agrees to defend the Dixie Divas Title against "Timeless" Toni Rose next week!

Windham calls Hawk & Animal overrated because everyone knows that the Four Horsemen are the best team in Rebel Wrestling! Dillon says he can't believe that people call Paul Ellering a great manager when J.J. Dillon is the smartest manager in Rebel Wrestling! Suddenly, Road Warriors & Ellering attack Rogers, Windham & Dillon! Officials try to break up the brawl, but it continues until Teddy Long comes out and asks Apter for a microphone. Long makes an impromptu Six-Man Tag Team Match: Warriors & Ellering vs. Rogers, Windham & Dillon!
6: World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors(Hawk--3 fatigue & Animal--2 fatigue) & Paul Ellering--2 fatigue vs. Buddy Rogers--0 fatigue, Barry Windham--2 fatigue & J.J. Dillon--1 fatigue: The teams fought back and forth until it looked like Four Horsemen had Animal right where they wanted him. Dillon tagged himself in to finish the match, but Animal made a comeback. McDaniel & DiBiase brawled out of the ring where DiBiase was disqualified for hitting McDaniel with a steel chair. A bloody Williams pinned Jack Brisco with BACKDROP DRIVER. Roop pinned a bloody Jerry Brisco with SHOULDERBREAKER. A bloody Williams pinned Fernandez with OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE. McDaniel pinned a heavily bleeding Williams with TOMAHAWK CHOP. McDaniel pinned Roop with FALLING CHOP. McDaniel pinned Rotunda with FALLING CHOP. McDaniel was at a 3-on-1 disadvantage, but he chopped down the entire Varsity Club to become the sole survivor! Gordon Solie interviewed Wahoo McDaniel after the match, but he was quickly interrupted by Johnny Valentine who shoved past Gordon. Valentine wants to know why Gordon's wasting his time talking to a bum instead of a real man. McDaniel hits Valentine with overhead chops, and a melee ensues as the show goes off the air!

This was a hard-fought back and forth match that could have went either way. In the end, Lewis submitted Zbyszko with double wristlock to win the Vintage TV Title for Pioneers Of Wrestling as he was congratulated by his POW teammates Frank Gotch, Farmer Burns, John Pesek & Evan Lewis! 8: Vintage Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos(Al Costello--2 fatigue & Roy Heffernan--2 fatigue)w/"Wild" Red Berry vs. Eddie Graham--2 fatigue & Mike Graham--3 fatigue: Kangaroos started off strong, but Grahams made a comeback. Heffernan and Mike Graham both fell out of the ring, but Heffernan shifted his weight and landed on top of Mike Graham. Heffernan returned to the ring as the referee began his ten-count, but a stunned Mike Graham was able to get back in the ring at the last second to avoid the count-out. However, Heffernan quickly locked on STEPOVER TOEHOLD as Mike Graham screamed in pain while tapping out! WINNER: Vintage Tag Team Champions Fabulous Kangaroos
