I saw it a few weeks ago, I really enjoyed it. I don't like Deadpool because of the mature content humor in that movie, but Shazam! gave the a Deadpool humor but in a cleaner way. I thought it was very funny. But, AquaMan and Wonder Woman are still my favorites.

I rank Shazam right up there with Wonder Woman & Aquaman as my favorite DC movies. I loved the humor in it. My favorite scene was when he was trying to learn what powers he had set to "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. I'm really hoping they make a sequel called Shazam vs. The Monster Society Of Evil. BTW, who ever thought we'd see Mr. Mind in a movie? Great stuff!

It was better than expected but about what I expected overall. Not bad but nothing that blew me away. I was not a fan of how they portrayed the secondary villains. Of course some of that has to do with seeing them recently in a graphic novel but still they were too plain.

I finally saw the sequel. I did not have high hopes going in based on some things I heard. Not sure what movie they were watching but I LOVED it. I think it was better than the first one and that one had Christmas scenes. Of course, the first one was origin story which tends to bog down movies. I just felt this one was better. Not sure what the hate was all about. Was it due to the movie having humor and a cheesy silliness? I am fine with that as Shazam/Captain Marvel was never a big player in my eyes. Plus, while other characters made jokes it was minimal, and they left most of the funny silliness to Shazam himself. Was it because one of the characters came out as gay? Who cares. I got my cootie shot so I am protected. Shame on them for making the movie have a touch of realism. Was it the ending? OK, I admit I was not a fan of that. You kill the guy only to bring him back right away. Sad emotional swerve to put in there. Plus, I understand Wonder Woman making an appearance due to his fascination with her. But she is not a "god". Just has aspects much like I am sure a few other people in the universe. But that is not too big of an issue with me just like the Skittles product placement was not. Both were not needed but whatever. I really hope they do a third movie. Part of me wants to see Master Mind make his move and part of me wants him just in the end credits scene as they keep dragging out his appearance in the main part of the movie only for it to never happen.
