It's been quite a few years since I ran an active Legends or Indy fed and I don't think I've ever really posted results on these boards. Weird, I know. So, rather than going back and starting where I left off, which would likely have me wanting to incorporate a ton of new wrestlers very quickly since there's so many sets that have been released since I last rolled, I'm rebooting my fed as if the fed had gone dormant and has now gotten new owners and a new life. I wanted to limit myself a LITTLE bit in terms of what wrestlers I could include in my fed so there will be no bootlegs at all and only color cards to begin with. I'm sure I'll add B&W cards in the future but to begin, just color. BUT I will be mixing Legends and Indy stuff so I still have a crazy amount of possibilities.
Realistically, I probably won't be the most regular poster but I still want my fed to exist within its own calendar structure. Anyways... Hoping that by posting here I can keep myself running events a bit more regularly than I have in the past.

Champion Clash I
January 11, Year 1
A lone spotlight shines into the center of the ring where Gary Michael Cappetta introduces the evening: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the relaunch of Legends Championship Wrestling! As you all know, a wrestling organization’s heavyweight title belt is the reason that each wrestler competes week in and week out. The reason they fight and bleed. Every young wrestler dreams of the chance to hoist a world title above their head. 16 men will get that chance over the next three nights. The next three nights will feature a 16 man tournament to crown the new LCW World Heavyweight Champion! Ladies and gentlemen, let’s get to the action!” Each wrestler steps onto the stage as GMC introduces them to the crowd – “Gorgeous George, Bobo Brazil, The Iron Sheik, Nick Bockwinkel, Jerry Lynn, Bruiser Brody, King Kong Bundy, Diamond Dallas Page, Rob Van Dam, Ted DiBiase, AJ Styles, Greg Valentine, “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, Lou Thesz and “Macho Man” Randy Savage!”
(4) Jerry Lynn vs. Bruiser Brody – Jerry Lynn has to be considered the wildcard of this tournament. He’s no ham-and-egger but his inclusion in this World Title tournament certainly turned a few heads. Bruiser Brody fought a pretty clean match, only going to the outside of the ring once. He leaned heavily on his size advantage but Jerry Lynn was always the quicker man. He was somehow able to get Brody up for the CRADLE PILEDRIVER but Brody kicked out. A sunset flip power bomb from Lynn manages to keep Brody down for the 3 count. This has to be considered a huge upset and it happened in the very first match of the tournament. Hopefully this level of excitement is a sign of what’s to come in the rest of the tournament!
(6) King Kong Bundy vs. DDP – The two grapplers lock up and Page is shoved away with little effort from Bundy. Bundy then slams DDP to the canvas with a big body slam. He picks him up and continues to work him over with a big bear hug. DDP already looks to be in trouble. DDP is briefly able to mount some offense with a jaw breaker but King Kong Bundy slams DDP into the turnbuckle. This time as Bundy charges, Page lifts a foot into the big man’s face. Bundy stumbles and a discus clothesline puts him down on the mat. Bundy rolls to the outside but DDP follows. Bundy attempts to Irish whip DDP into the ring post on the outside. Page reverses and Bundy hits the post with an audible THWACK! Page rolls him back into the ring, connects with his patented DIAMOND CUTTER and gets the 3 count victory!
(1) Bobo Brazil vs. Gorgeous George – Gorgeous George opens the match with an open-hand slap to Bobo Brazil. George bows to a chorus of boos. Brazil does not look amused and takes the fight to the Gorgeous one. What followed was a combination beat down / grinding torture for George. In the end, Bobo Brazil was able to pin George after 2 successive COCO BUTTS.
(3) Ted DiBiase vs. RVD – DiBiase is able to lock RVD up with the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM early. RVD escapes but it doesn’t take long before DiBiase has RVD in the hold again and this time there was no escape. RVD has no choice but to tap.
(8) Iron Sheik vs. Nick Bockwinkel – Iron Sheik wins a great back and forth battle after connecting with a kick from his loaded boot and a CAMEL CLUTCH finish.
(5) Greg Valentine vs. Randy Savage – As Randy Savage makes his way to the ring, he puts his neon sunglasses on the face of a lucky young fan. Randy Savage takes out Greg Valentine in less than two minutes with a FLYING ELBOW DROP. Valentine didn’t even land a punch! Savage high fives a bunch of fans at ringside before leaving the ring area.
(7) AJ Styles vs. Buddy Rogers – AJ Styles and Buddy Rogers have a quick back and forth match which ends with a STYLES CLASH victory for AJ Styles. AJ Styles looks a bit shocked as he realizes he just knocked one of the heavy favorites from the tournament.
(2) Harley Race vs. Lou Thesz – Harley Race absolutely dominates Lou Thesz. Numerous suplexes has Thesz visibly shaken and hurting but Harley Race is still unable to keep Thesz on the mat long enough to get the win. Thesz just keeps toughing it out and pushing forward. The longer the match goes, the more frustrated Race is that he can’t get the pin or submission. Finally Race had enough and threw Thesz to the outside. Race stomps Thesz a couple times, then pulls him to his feet. Thesz is lifted high into the air and slammed hard down onto the floor with a vertical suplex as the referee’s count hits 4. Race stomps Thesz’s lower back a few more times for good measure before rolling back into the ring. Thesz attempts to crawl back toward the ring. As the ref’s count hits 8 Thesz has managed to almost get to his feet before slipping and falling back to the floor, gripping at his back again in pain. 9… 10… The ref calls for the bell and Harley Race is declared the winner as LCW Champion Clash I comes to a close.

Looks like a great start to a promising promotion... Superb upset by Lynn to kick off the show... And pleased that DDP and Macho Man both advanced to the next round... A little disappointed that RVD has been removed from the running...
Of course, my favorite highlight was AJ pinning the Nature Boy following a Styles Clash! Truly PHENOMENAL!

Champion Clash II
January 12, Year 1
Chris Candido vs. Samuray del Sol - Candido and Samuray del Sol wrestle a fast and furious opening match that is ultimately cut short by an errant DQ. Candido pulled 2 chairs from under the ring. He threw the first one into the ring. While the ref kicked the first chair out of the ring, Candido threw the 2nd chair to Samuray del Sol and threw himself to the ground. Del Sol stood there looking a bit confused but when the ref turned around and saw the luchadore holding a chair and an unconscious looking Candido, he calls for the bell. Chris Candido wins by DQ.
Martin Stone vs. Jim Duggan – It’s USA vs. UK as “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan takes on Martin Stone. Stone attempts to use a bit of his technical wrestling prowess against the brawler but Duggan’s fists and toughness are too much for the Brit. Duggan wins the match after a FLYING SPEAR. Duggan picks up his American flag and waves it around as he makes his way to the back.
Gary Michael Cappetta takes the ring. “Ladies and gentlemen, Legends Championship Wrestling is proud to announce the President of LCW, Mr. Dave Marquez!”
Dave Marquez walks to the ring, shaking the hands of the fans along the entranceway. GMC hands him the mic once he’s in the ring. “Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! And thank you to the LCW board of directors for trusting me to run this ship. The LCW brand has laid dormant for many years now but still has a lot of value built into its rich history. I’m extremely excited for what’s to come for Legends Championship Wrestling. Tonight I’m happy to announce our weekly television schedule! LCW’s flagship show will be on Monday nights and will be called LCW Monday Night TNT. Thursdays will see LCW Thursday Night Thunderstrike coming at you! Get a double dose of LCW on Saturdays with LCW Global in the AM and LCW Saturday Night in the PM. Sunday’s mid-day show will be called LCW Go! and we will have major events on Sunday nights about once a month. I know what some of you are thinking… ‘That’s a pretty aggressive schedule for a brand new wrestling company.’ Well, that’s how LCW is going to be run! We’re an aggressive wrestling company with an aggressive group of wrestlers already signed and an aggressive schedule! The Legends Wrestling Federation had better watch their backs because we’re gunning for them and we’re excited to have all you fans along for the ride!”
The crowd cheers as Marquez waves and walks back and the matches get back underway.
Malia Hosaka vs. Nora Greenwald – These two ladies were determined to show how exciting women’s wrestling can be. What could have been a filler match became a near 30 minute contest filled with amazing back and forth action! Malia Hosaka always seemed to get the better of their exchanges but Nora Greenwald stuck with her to the very end, when Hosaka connected with a devastating reverse spin kick to an exhausted Greenwald. She just didn’t have the energy left to kick out. The crowd cheered both ladies’ efforts as they join hands and bow.
Road Warriors vs. Sheepherders – Hawk and Luke Williams start the action with Hawk taking the clear cut early advantage, relying heavily on his power advantage. When Animal and Butch enter the match, the beating continues. Luke and Butch get moments of offense going but over and over they are cut off by the larger, stronger Road Warriors. When the fight spills to the outside, all 4 men get involve. It’s no longer a wrestling match. There’s no holds or moves or slams, just fists! The ref repeatedly warns the men that he will count them out but he never actually begins his count. When Luke Williams grabs the ring bell and smacks Animal with it, the ref calls for the bell to end the contest… but Luke still has it. The fight continues to the backstage area and the Road Warriors are declared the winners by DQ.
Amber Gertner is backstage with Lou Thesz, who was brutalized by Harley Race in the main event of last night’s event. “Harley Race, everyone knows Lou Thesz is the most technical grappler to ever grace the squared circle. It’s obvious that you felt the only way to beat me was to turn our pure wrestling match into an out of ring brawl. Fair enough. You beat me and you’re moving on in this tournament but it’s not going to happen again. Our two paths will cross again soon and next time, I’m going to tie you in knots and mail you back to Kansas City.”
Just then, Harley Race walks up…
“Lou, you’re right, I did beat you. To the point where you couldn’t stand up… and I’ll do it again should we end up across the ring from each other in the future. That’s what I do. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a tournament to win. Enjoy the show, Lou.”
Harley Race walks away to head out for his match. Just then, the Road Warriors and Sheepherders come crashing into the interview area. Lou Thesz helps Amber Gertner escape safely but her set is completely destroyed as the two tag teams grab anything and everything to smash their opponents with.
Quarter Final Match 1: Bobo Brazil vs. Harley Race – From the minute the first bell rang, Bobo Brazil was in the zone! He was juking and jiving and having a good time. Brazil dominates Harley Race, even bloodying him with a total of five COCO BUTTS throughout the match before getting the pin.
Quarter Final Match 2: Ted DiBiase vs. Jerry Lynn – Jerry Lynn was the longshot of the tournament but he proves again that he belonged with the rest of the field. He wrestled his heart out, even managed to connect with his CRADLE PILEDRIVER for a near fall. Unfortunately for him, Ted DiBiase is as crafty as they come. DiBiase is able to make a big comeback and defeat the worn out Lynn with a simple vertical suplex.
Quarter Final Match 3: Randy Savage vs. DDP – Savage and DDP are set to revisit their classic. The match was unfortunately a quick back and forth with Savage coming out on top after a FLYING ELBOW DROP finish. Fans never even had a chance to get into the match before it was over.
Backstage again and the Road Warriors and Sheepherders are brawling out in the concourse of the arena. Fans spill beverages as they rush to get out of the way. A circle of fans forms around the fight as the competitors trade haymakers back and forth. All of a sudden the crowd disperses as a team of security guards led by Dave Marquez comes to break up the fight. Marquez yells “I want these guys out of my arena!” as we go back to the ring for tonight’s main event.
Quarter Final Match 4: AJ Styles vs. Iron Sheik – Styles and the Iron Sheik put on a great main event match for the crowd. Both men wrestled a clean match and fought their hearts out in an effort to move forward in the tournament. In the end it was Styles to got the victory after a discuss lariat.

Champion Clash III
January 13, Year 1
Jazz vs. Madison Rayne – Madison Rayne gets the action started. She shows no fear as she takes the fight to the much larger and stronger Jazz. Eventually Jazz is able to use her power advantage to take over on offense and from there it’s all Jazz until she finishes Rayne with two consecutive fisherman busters.
Dave Marquez makes his way to the ring and grabs a mic: “Wow! Did I tell you we had a great roster or what!?! Those ladies can GO!!! The men of the LCW roster have been putting their hearts and souls on the line vying for the LCW World Heavyweight Championship and tonight we will witness the semi-finals and finals. Who will be the first LCW champ in the rebooted LCW? We’ll find out soon enough but before that, we are going to find out who the champ’s first title challenger will be. I’m calling this special match the 2nd Chance Rumble! This match will take place immediately before the main event and will feature all 14 of the eliminated tournament wrestlers in a over the top battle royal! Now let’s get back to the action!”
Petey Williams vs. Johnny Saint – The match opens with a great back and forth exchange, neither man connecting with anything meaningful. Petey Williams starts to pull away with the match after a huge dropkick from the top rope. He finishes Johnny Saint with the CANADIAN DESTROYER.
Valiants vs. Vachons – The Valiants are the first to take the ring. As Gary Michael Cappetta starts announcing the Vachons, they charge into the ring and immediately start to brawl. Johnny Valentine is thrown to the outside and Jimmy is double teamed as the ref calls for the bell to get the contest started. Jimmy Valiant and Butcher Vachon fight back and forth, both refusing to tag in their partners. A double buckle whip by the Valiants ultimately puts away Butcher Vachon in a fast but fun match.
Semi-Final Match 1: Bobo Brazil vs. Ted DiBiase – Ted DiBiase wins a great back and forth match with a COBRA CLUTCH.
Semi-Final Match 2: Randy Savage vs. AJ Styles – Randy Savage put up a REALLY tough fight but, little by little, AJ Styles was able to inflict the more meaningful offense of the match before finishing the Macho Man with the STYLES CLASH.
2nd Chance Rumble – Iron Sheik, DDP, Jerry Lynn, Harley Race, Lou Thesz, Bobo Brazil, Randy Savage, Buddy Rogers, Greg Valentine, King Kong Bundy, Bruiser Brody, Nick Bockwinkel, Gorgeous George, RVD – Bobo Brazil goes on a tear, clearly looking to get himself back into the LCW title picture as soon as possible. Brazil goes on to win the 2nd Chance Rumble after eliminating 5 of the 14 wrestlers involved in the match. Jerry Lynn again proved he belongs in the upper echelon of LCW talent as he made it to the final 2 men standing in the match. Bruiser Brody eliminated 4 wrestlers and Iron Sheik, Randy Savage, King Kong Bundy and RVD eliminated 1 wrestler each. With this win Bobo Brazil wins the opportunity to challenge for the LCW World Heavyweight Title at a future LCW event. Bobo Brazil reaches under the ring, grabs a chair and takes a seat at ringside to watch the next match. We’ll find out who the inaugural LCW World Heavyweight champ is in just a few moments as Ted DiBiase takes on AJ Styles next!
Finals for the LCW World Heavyweight Title: Ted DiBiase vs. AJ Styles – The match starts with AJ Styles offering his hand for a handshake. DiBiase fakes the handshake and rakes Styles’ eyes. Styles was visibly angry but attempted to fight on. Throughout the match, DiBiase took shortcut after shortcut, while AJ Styles fought a clean, high-flying, high-impact match. When AJ Styles connected with a beautiful Pele Kick late in the match, DiBiase rolled to the outside. DiBiase grabs a steel chair but before he can swing it Styles grabs it out of his hands. The referee steps between DiBiase and Styles as DiBiase lets out a hearty laugh. Styles shoves the ref aside and smacks DiBiase with the chair. The ref calls for the bell and Ted DiBiase is declared the winner. LCW President Dave Marquez presents the LCW World Heavyweight Title to Ted DiBiase and begins to announce the new champ.
Ted Dibiase grabs the mic out of Marquez’s hands: “You know, Dave… Sometimes you can just buy the company and sometimes you have to earn it. Over the past three nights, the Million Dollar Man EARNED the LCW World Heavyweight Title and the keys to Legends Championship Wrestling.”
Dave Marquez: “To be clear, Mr. DiBiase, you don’t have any sort of control over Legends Championship Wrestling, you are simply our world champion. This wasn’t so much a business move, as you’re so accustomed to, rather an athletic victory for you. But, again, congratulations. You earned it!”
Ted DiBiase: “Hahaha, Dave, Dave, Dave… You know I don’t sign any contracts that my attorneys haven’t first reviewed. And in this case, my attorneys have reviewed and revised my LCW contract. As LCW champ, I retain creative control over the Million Dollar Man brand. That means I don’t do a thing unless I want to.”
Dave Marquez: “As you well know, Bobo Brazil has just won the 2nd Chance Rumble, ensuring himself first crack at your LCW World Title.”
Ted DiBiase: “Ha! I saw that. He really is the king of that pile of losers. I’m sure I’ll cross paths with Bobo at some point but for now, I’m going to go enjoy this victory. I’ll be in touch when I’m ready…”
With that, DiBiase throws the title over his shoulder and walks to the back, stopping at the top of the ramp to chuckle a bit before heading out for good as the show goes off the air.
