Great first half. You really built it well and it would lead the viewer into the second half wanting even more. The problem with many cards is that they are not built to sustain interest. This worked well.

Great first half. You really built it well and it would lead the viewer into the second half wanting even more. The problem with many cards is that they are not built to sustain interest. This worked well. Thank you Jason for the nice things you said about Minor League Wrestling. In the First Half, I was disappointed that Banielson lost his debut match, but Brodie Lee got lucky and rolled snake eyes. The Second Half is played out and I should have some time later tonight to post those results too.

Minor League Wrestling (MiLW) Messin' With RecessionJuly 20, 2009 Orleans Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)Match #6: J.D. Michaels and Sara Del Rey defeated Savage-T and April Hunter in an inter-gender tag team match- Because of the highly emotional/personal issues involved (Michaels and Del Rey having each been dumped by Hunter and Savage-T respectfully), this was a rare inter-gender tag match which normally does not take place in either Major League Wrestling or in Minor League Wrestling. - This match ended when Michaels gave Hunter a flying elbow smash and then lifted her legs in the air before covering her for the 3 count while suggestively gyrating all over her (think of how Edge pinned Beulah at One Night Stand 2006 ). Savage-T attempted the pin save but was stopped by a BUTTERFLY POWERSLAM from Del Rey. Match #7: Delirious defeated Minor League Wrestling Champion Mike Quackenbush- Delirious won the match via CHEMICAL IMBALANCE #2. - As a result, Delirious wins the Minor League Wrestling Championship for his 2nd time!Match #8: Drake Younger defeated Necro Butcher in a light tube match. - This match between these two enemies was an absolute bloody classic. Although he inflicted almost as much damage as he received, Butcher eventually lost when he got to the point that he couldn't even stand up as Younger then executed his DRAKE'S LANDING finisher for the bloody victory. (Promoter's Note: Necro Butcher's PIN in this match went all the way up to 12 while Younger's PIN in this match went all the way up to 9). Match #9: Adam Pearce (managed by Larry Sweeney) defeated Sam Hayne- These two former Minor League Wrestling Champions had a good match as they traded offense and both of them scored multiple pinfall/submission attempts against the other. But Pearce outlasted Hayne and won via his JUMPING PILEDRIVER. Match #10, the main event: Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black (both accompanied by Daizee Haze) defeated Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Champions Mike Quackenbush and Arik Cannon in a best 2 out of 3 falls tag team steel cage match- First Fall: Jacobs defeated Cannon via THE END TIME. - At this point, both Jacobs and Quackenbush were bleeding profusely after repeatedly being slammed into the sides of the steel cage. - Second Fall: Jacobs defeated Quackenbush via THE END TIME. - As a result, Jacobs and Black are the new Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Champions! - Quackenbush entered tonight a double champion, but leaves without retaining either title. - As Jacobs and Black each climb to the top of opposite sides of the steel cage holding the belts of their newly won Minor league Wrestling Tag Team Championship, tonight's show comes to an end! End of Show!

After last week's Messin' With Recession PPV, it's now time for another edition of Minor League Wrestling!
Minor League Wrestling Monday July 27, 2009 Orleans Arena Las Vegas, NV (First Half of show)
Match #1: Timber defeated "Bloody" Harker Dirge
- Although he failed in his bid last week at Messin' With Recession to end The Destroyer's undefeated streak, "the Insane Lumberjack" got the impressive win tonight via a moonsault.
Match #2: Erick Stevens defeated Brent Albright
- Although at Messin' With Recession last week Albright defeated Eddie Kingston to win his debut match, he lost tonight to Stevens via a diving shoulder block preceded by 3 straight DOCTOR BOMBS.
Backstage: Accompanied by his manager Larry Sweeney, saying he earned it by defeating fellow former Minor League Wrestling Champion Sam Hayne last week at Messin' With Recession, Adam Pearce is demanding Minor League Wrestling Commissioner Charlie Cox schedule tonight a match of him (Pearce) against Delirious for the Minor League Wrestling Championship.
- Cox tells Pearce that Mike Quackenbush, who last week in separate matches courageously defended both the Minor League Wrestling Championship and the Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Championship in separate matches only to walk away with neither title, instead gets to wrestle Delirious tonight in a non-title match with Quackenbush then getting a title shot on the next episode of Minor League Wrestling if he defeats Delirious.
- Pearce says he's better than Quackenbush and wants to wrestle him tonight to prove who should actually get a title shot next week against Delirious.
- Cox responds by reminding Pearce that Quackenbush is already scheduled to wrestle Delirious instead tonight. Pearce starts to say something but gets challenged by someone from behind. Pearce turns to see Arik Cannon- Quackenbush's tag team partner and Pearce says if he can't wrestle Quackenbush tonight then he'll at least take out his frustrations on Quackenbush's tag partner Cannon tonight.
Match #3: Heartbreak Express (managed by Jonny Fairplay) defeated the Young Bucks.
- This match ended when Superstar Sean Davis pinned "Mr. Action Replay" Matt Jackson via an Irish Whip/Flying Butt Bomb performed in tandem with Fabulous Phil Davis.
Match #4: Ricky Landell defeated Steve Corino (managed by Larry Sweeney)
- Although he lost the hardcore match last week at Messin' With Recession against his former mentor Corino, Landell got the victory tonight via FISHERMAN'S BUSTER.
Match #5: Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli (both managed by Lary Sweeney) defeated the Backseat Boyz
- During this match, the TV announcers mentioned that both Hero and Castganoli will be among 16 participants in an upcoming tournament to determine the first-ever TV Champion- more details about this to come on the next epsiode of Minor League Wrestling.
- Hero and Castagnoli won this match when Hero put Johnny Kashmere away via HERO'S WELCOME.
In the Ring: Brodie Lee
- Lee is bragging about how at Messin' With Recession last week he defeated Bryan Danielson, the hottest free agent wrestler and the newest addition to Minor League Wrestling.
- Suddenly Danielson's entrance music plays and Danielson comes out to confront Lee in the ring.
- Danielson challenges Lee right now to best 3 out of 5 contest to see who is really the better wrestler and Danielson even offers to give Lee a 1-0 handicap lead by giving him credit for the victory he cheated to get at Messin' With Recession. Lee agrees and a referee comes down to officiate this best 3 out of 5 contest with Lee being given an automatic 1-0 lead meaning Danielson needs to defeat Lee 3 out of 4 times to win!
Match #6A: Bryan Danielson defeated Brodie Lee
- Danielson got the pin via a suicide dive to tie things up at 1-1.
Match #6B: Bryan Danielson defeated Brodie Lee by DQ
- Lee got DQd when the action spilled outside of the ropes and he picked up the ring steps and dropped them down directly on top of Danielson. Danielson is now up 2-1.
Match #6C: Brodie Lee defeated Bryan Danielson
- Lee got the pinfall after whipping Danielson into the ring steps. It's now tied 2-2 and going to the deciding fall.
Match #6D: Bryan Danielson defeated Brodie Lee
- Danielson won this fall and thus this best 3 out of 5 series 3-2 when he made Lee tap out to TRIANGLE CHOKE.
Backstage: J. D. Michaels (accompanied by Sara Del Rey) is exchanging challenges with his enemy Savage-T (accompanied by April Hunter) as they walk up to Cox seeking a match against each other tonight.
- Cox tells Michaels and Savage-T they won't be wrestling against each other tonight because he already scheduled them to appear in different matches.
Cox (to Michaels): "You'll be wrestling former Minor League Wrestling Champions Sam Hayne (Savage-T laughs at Michaels).
Cox: "And you Savage-T will be wrestling the currently undefeated The Destroyer and you match is up next."
- Savage-T stops laughing as Michaels come over toward him to tap him on the shoulder and condescendingly tell him good luck and smirks.
End of First Half. Second Half is up next and includes; Savage-T vs the undefeated The Destroyer, J. D. Michaels vs Sam Hayne, Arik Cannon vs Adam Pearce, Necro Butcher vs Drake Younger, Mike Quackenbush vs Minor League Wrestling Champion Delirious in a non-title match, and the Naptown Dragons vs Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Champions the Age of the Fall!

Minor League Wrestling Monday July 27, 2009 Orleans Arena Las Vegas, NV (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
The Second Half started with The Destroyer's entrance music playing to signal his match was about to start:
Match #7: The Destroyer defeated Savage-T (accompanied by April Hunter)
- Savage-T surprised everyone, including The Destroyer, by getting in some good early offense that even included a near pinfall attempt via a superkick. But The Destroyer gained the offense and shortly afterward got the win via his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK to remain undefeated here in Minor League Wrestling.
Match #8: J.D. Michaels (accompanied by Sara Del Rey) defeated Sam Hayne
- Michaels scored the upset victory over Hayne, a former Minor League Wrestling Champion, via a flying elbow smash after Del Rey got away with reaching in through the ropes to trip Hayne.
Match #9: Drake Younger defeated Necro Butcher
- Coming off their bloody classic light tube match last week at Messin' With Recession, this was another really good match between these two wrestlers. Butcher dominated the match early and scored 3 near pinfalls. But Younger battled back to defeat his enemy Butcher once again via DRAKE'S YOUNGER.
Match #10: Belgian Brawler defeated Eddie Kingston
- Kingston's recent lack of success continues as the Belgian Brawler gets the victory via his BELGIAN WAFFLE.
Match #11: Adam Pearce (managed by Larry Sweeney) defeated Arik Cannon
- Cannon put up a good effort, but Pearce won via a powerslam.
Match #12: Mike Quackenbush defeated Minor League Wrestling Champion Delirious in a non-title match
- Quackenbush won via QUACKENDRIVER III to win a chance on the next episode of Minor League Wrestling to regain the Minor League Wrestling Championship that he lost last week to Delirious at Messin' With Recession.
Match #13, the main event: Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Champions Age of the Fall (accompanied by Daizee Haze) defeated Naptown Dragons
- The Naptown Dragons received this title shot as a result of winning the tag team turmoil match last week at Messin' With Recession.
First Fall: Naptown Dragons scored several near pinfalls but lost when Jimmy Jacobs made Scotty Vortekz tap out via THE END TIME.
Second Fall: Once again, Jacobs made Vortekz tap out to THE END TIME. Age of the Fall thus win this match 2-0 to retain the Minor League Wrestling Tag Team Championship.
- As the Age of the Fall hold their belts up in victory, tonight's show comes to an end.
End of Show.
