Just finished my GWF Rigel Rumble HPV a two night event. It ran a lot smoother using the rules in the new ringside companion than other times I had it.The women's battle royal was won by Gladiator Storm and she will not only get a gwf woman's title match against Cosmic Woman, she will get to pick the stipulations.Controversy ran amok as the Dark Menace allowed Gladiator Siege to enter the tag-team Rigel Rumble although they are already the tag-team Champs and they won and were greeted to a chorus of boos. The singles Rigel Rumble was won by Godsend and he will challenge an injured Gwf champion in a Cosmic Cage match on Monday Night Battlezone.I was wondering how many promoters have Rigel Rumble's in their GWF feds?

In my GWF fed Ring of Vega, I have Vega Warfare which is sort of like a rumble as the participants enter one by one at regular intervals but overall more like Lucha Underground's Aztec Warfare as the participants are eliminated in the ring by pin or submission instead of by being thrown over the top rope. In my Centra fed, I call the same match Centra Warfare.

I ran a Rumble in 2125 a few weeks ago. It ran very smoothly with the rules from the companion, except that the chances of an early entry winning (using this system) are virtually non-existent. There should at least be a minor chance of someone pulling a Shawn Michaels. Other than that I greatly enjoyed running it. I shuffled the cards beforehand and pulled them from a closed box to be able to surprise myself each entry. Paganax won it btw and he will soon challenge the champ in my version of WrestleMania. It seems like I'm headed towards a heel vs heel main event as Overmaster is my current champion. There are still 2 cards left before it so who know what will happen...

I don't do rumbles (and only once in a while do battle royals.....the simulator is fun but the drama isn't there) so I always find it cool when other promoters do.

I run a Rigel Rumble annually in my main GWF fed and have since 2120. I haven't used the new rules yet so I'm excited for that. The winner gets a GWF or Castilex title shot (still in 2135). Sun Man just won so he'll get a shot at my Triple Crown (Eydilon merged all the GWF titles, it was a whole big thing) since he's not allowed to challenge for Castilex titles. I usually pick a classic Royal Rumble to throw on in the background and have wrestlers enter at the same time they do on screen.

I’ve run many Rumbles and Battle Royals. But I use a hybrid of the official rules and my own. In short, I put all the cards in the ring at the time in a stack, and pair them up by two. Every now and then you will have an odd number of cards, so you can decide to give a guy a breather (sometimes I’ll roll for this, highest roll wins or use the Tirion Triple Threat chart to pair 3 guys up).
Anyways, I then go two at a time and play until a guy gets 1 token, or is eliminated.
* Eliminations come from being beaten and thrown over the top or when rolling PIN after an out of the ring.
* If no elimination, I keep track of who was on O and who got the PIN token and is on D.
* Once I cycle through all my pairings, a new wrestler enters the Rumble.
* Sometimes I continue on w the pairings and sometimes I switch them up. This is all by feel and often has a lot to do w feuds etc..
Continue this process until you are down to your final 2, then finally your winner.

The way i do it is to have the first two start. then the next one or two wait until somebodys eliminated.
