Since the other thread was closed, I figured I'd start a new one with this important info
According to Wrestlingobserver.com, WWE has stated that Wayne Coleman does own the name of Superstar Billy Graham. With one year remaining on his consultant deal, WWE released Coleman from his contact, which was for $500 a week. In the letter sent to Coleman, WWE claimed ownership to his name and gimmick and that he could not use it any longer.
Coleman was contacted by WWE today and informed Coleman that he owns all rights to his three wrestling names, Wayne Coleman, Billy Graham and Superstar Billy Graham.

Now that Graham no longer has that deal with the WWE and has undisputed rights to his name, it would be awesome to get him in LOW someday.
At least to start off, I'd probably make him one of my top faces and then maybe turn him heel later on.

I think this would be one of the top LOW signings ever. Race and Bock are the only two close in my book.
Glad to hear the E backed off on releasing him while still claiming to own him. If only they'd made the decision sooner it would've prevented a lot of board disharmony. I much prefer when we all get along. ;D

All Havoc is saying is give peace a chance ... :-)
If I remember my Filsinger lore correctly, Graham was interested in the game, but had signed the WWE contract at that point. I'm hoping that his interest is still there/genuine ...

Actually is fantastic news. I'm one for if you sign a (Legends) contract, then I have no problem with you working for them whether its convention signings, not being able to sign with Filsinger Games, etc. Also don't have a problem with them taking ownership of a wrestler's name and gimmick if the WWE has established it. ...just hate it when they try and do the ownership name of a wrestler who established his name well before coming to the E. Don't see a problem with them marketing the name as their "own" if they are under a Legends contract, but once it's over...geez, they guy established the name. You own wrestling ya know.

Well I think it would be a freaking AMAZING signing if we got Superstar Billy Graham in the game officially!
